Nothing before has ever occupied my brain as TIC.
I'm looking forward to a new drama too.
One that is kind of cute (first 2 epis) is Netflix's is Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. It's light but meaningful. Let's stay in contact, and exchange ideas.

Off to what I am supposed to be doing instead :-)

I still have to finish "You are my Glory" because "The Ideal City" became more interesting to me.
TIC has far more dynamic tension that YAMG.

TIC keeps you on your toes, minute by minute, second by second. TIC is by far the best C/drama I've seen so far.

However this could all change on Episode 40. Let's see how it ends.

thank you! I'm up to Ep 21 and it seems like it is getting better for her. What horrible things she had to put up with.

I agree, not interested in the romance (first time in my watching history) but the plot is non-stop riveting. Yah, if she ends up with him, that's ok too.

I am up to Ep 11 and I really like this series. One woman against a group of cohorts who rule the development of the city. Sometimes I fast forward parts that I don't like on other dramas but not this one. No, not missing one single frame! The prejudice against this one woman is legend. I hope the rest of it is as good.
C-dramas are also educational too. Who knew about the cement issue? Who knew about the biotech issue? C-dramas are covering these topics from fashion to cement! There is a bit of flag waving but I ignore it.

He is excellent in Navillera. Still somewhat spacey acting *wide-eyed" but what an attention getter, wow! Both young and old were represented well on the drama.

Sorry for sticking your neck out! I agree with you on all aspects. Acting great, music, really cute, you saw the same side as I saw. The story was not the normal K-drama, thank goodness. And the leads finally grew up!

I would try it again. It was so different from the K-dramas/C-dramas. Just turn the sound down when she speaks....but seriously, she improves a lot.

Yes, she was so annoying at first, with the little voice and childlike behavior etc. But toward the end she was much better. He was exquisite! Not too many episodes but you might want to try it again, sweet ending. I like j-dramas, short too.

I really liked Renn Kiriyama in Love is Phantom. Great J-Drama.

I don’t think that most viewers that objected to the ending may not have made that connection that the ML and FL reached a new level of maturity. I loved the ending and the small epilogue.
