Darn, I wish I could have said it better! You covered it all very well. I liked the series but felt frustrated…
Your English is perfect!!!! You have a good point, she was decisive until she met Wataru - then it went all down the hill, so to speak. She was torn between telling Wataru that she loved him and wanting him to improve.
Maybe she could have hinted to him how she felt but still waiting for him to improve himself. (But I'm not the writer)
I would have liked the writer not to wait until the end of Ep 11, but to give us Ep 10 and 11 a gradual change in her so it didn't feel too chocked at the end.
I'm a little surprised, judging from the comments, I thought this would be another cheesy rom-com that slowly…

I liked the series but felt frustrated by her indecisive nature. It wasn't until the absolute end that she sprung forth and became re-energized.
Unfortunately I'm watching the series from an American viewpoint which is widely different from a Japanese one.
Dean is always handsome and a good actor. I loved him in "Hapimari: Happy Marriage!? "(2016). Watched it on Amazon, of all places.
Wataru's growth was worth watching. I liked that there were no villains and I think that is because there were only 11 episodes. No extra time for those tropes. That is one reason I like J/dramas, short and to the point. For me, it was not a rewatch, I gave it an 8.
I agree, why keep showing those college days, boring and we know it will go nowhere. Enough.
Yes, 14 long years?? I don't know what the writers were thinking of spending so much time on his love for her and I don't think it is finished, from the previews, she wants to spend some time trying to understand their college relationship. Why??? Dumb. Oh well, I still love this series so much that I can always fast forward :-)
Many people didn’t like that line “I am ready” in the drama…was that in the novel? I can’t recall…Anyway…
I'm on Ep 15. I so agree with you! He is a nerd's nerd. They are not easy to communicate with but once they understand then good for both!
I am really enjoying watching this drama. Things are slow but that's nice too. Allen Ren is an interesting actor, with his sad eyes - I will have to watch more of his stuff.
Bai lu is as good as she was in Love is Sweet which was also one of my most favorite dramas and certainly more alive!! (Leo Luo makes things alive)
Looking forward to this! Loved Han So Hee in Nevertheless, consistently portraying a young insecure artist - with Song Kang as the ML who was also very convincing in his role.
OMG, I hope we don't have a rush ending like the way you described. Why can't the writers leave well enough alone?…
I know, I know, leave well enough alone, right?! One of the few dramas I've watched that doesn't have a second lead that may mess things up that I really liked is "My Little Happiness." I also like the people in the town.
I just hope this doesn't follow the "second male lead is well off so he can provide a better life for her and…
OMG, I hope we don't have a rush ending like the way you described. Why can't the writers leave well enough alone? Why do the they have to torture us when the story can be so simple and lovely?!
4 fantastic episodes - love, neighborhood, caring - what more do we want?! Love this series, so genuine, so much fun to watch. Can't wait until next week.

Although the ending was really cute.

Thanks again for your summary.
