I may be voicing an unpopular opinion here, but I think the producer Sa Pi Young is insufferable in her clueless…
I agree with your points. Without repeating what you said so well, Sa Pi Young is boring, Sa Hun is married to a nasty woman, he has been weakened by his parents and wife... don't blame him. I like the ghost appearing! All in all it is over melodramatic but I still want to see the end.
Oh Johnny... I wish his expressions would be better by now. Kept seeing the same faces over almost all his dramas.…
I think in all the dramas that I watched Johnny in, he always plays the same type of person. In a YouTube interview, he seems to say that he likes to play roles more like himself. I don't mind that but he doesn't seem to have the variations that other actors have. I wonder if Song Joong Kee is similar - sort of a dead pan face too. Pretty cute anyway! :-)
I understand that people have mixed feeling about the drama. Is it because one expected a perfect world of romance?…
Agree with you! The story unfolds nicely, it is a well balanced series. The best parts are the conversations between the LM and LF. Johnny expresses himself so well. This is the 5th Johnny series I've watched and besides being good looking, he is very easy to listen to with his different voice. My favorite Johnny series was Addiction, which the ending was unfortunately truncated by the Chinese government.
Love his ML in Phantom. He is quite a neat departure from the usual K/C drama male leads. I've never seen him before but from now on, will watch out for his dramas. Love the Phantom, creepy, cute and surprising.
The nun's acting, her voice, is spectacular - she is sort of a glue in the drama. I've seen her in other dramas…
Now thats a really wield thought!!!! True, the nun seems to know a lot more about the family than normal. At first I was going to drop it but it is getting a lot more interesting. She really is the glue to the family.. Love Hyun Wook's performance. However, want to see him in a nicer role in the future.
Love this drama. It is simple, funny, short, sweet and to the point. The story is a bit quirky and amusing. The ML and FL parts are refreshing compared to other romcoms. Two unhappy people meet and continuously scream at each other until they don't. I am watching it on Netflix.
Can someone explain something to me...why the heck did the husband cheat? Why did he throw away a wonderful wife…
One reason is that the FL had had a miscarriage and had shut him out for some time. I think they needed therapy. Then he was financially tied to his boss and got further entrapped by doing special favors for his boss and getting paid for it. In short, he was very weak and got stuck in doing things he knew were wrong but did them anyway like the affair. Also his mistress started to depend on him while his wife didn't .
The ending with the ML and FL parting walking away from each other with their umbrellas, I will never forgot that scene. Anyway, just my thoughts.
It's based on haruki Murakami book which is based on surrealism and or realism..it's not a movie for everyone…
Ok, so I skipped to the end and watched it. The end was ok but she was still in prison, poor lady. But he was going to wait for her. Those people were so awful to her. His movies are tortuous but perfect in every way. I will watch Punch, thank you. Where would I see it?
I personally prefer the korean version, but each has its own charm, it all depends on your preference. The focus…
I agree, I liked the Korean version so much better. Loved the ending - this C version is too soft pedaled. So sweet, so polite. The last two episodes were blah!
Use for my talents was ultimately a waste for my time. With very good actors they could have done more. It started…
I kind of agree with you - the last two episodes did not reach the heights that it should have reached. It was filled with sweetness and light but oh so polite. Jasper is one of my most favorite actors but I've seen him in much better roles.
I broke my tradition of silent watching over comments after reading people commenting on how 'childish' Esther…
I agree with you - Ester can take both roles: bubbly and serious when needed. I'm really enjoying this drama series - and your points are really well made. Thank you!
I am on Episode 12 and wondering why my Han accepted this project to be honest. The FLs character is blaaa. I…
Thank you Azura! I will look at your list. Actually you might think me way off but my favorite Asian movie is Burning. I'll make a list too! Yep, Burning!
Sa Hun is married to a nasty woman, he has been weakened by his parents and wife... don't blame him. I like the ghost appearing! All in all it is over melodramatic but I still want to see the end.
