Yes, you are right. But this is a melodrama, and we have 40 episodes so a lot can happen - and I don't think the doctor is going to give up on the FL. So annoying.

Good points Claire, hadn't thought about the evil mom. However, she should have explained it better by saying why she rejected him. Then, hopefully, he would be a lot stronger with his evil mom.

Since she really loves him, an explanation of the refusal could have helped the situation.

However, as I said, this is a melodrama with 14 episodes left to go, so the lack of communication and the introduction of new plots help stretch the drama out till the end.

I don't like Dr. Ji either but the FL doesn't realize that he likes her and is going after her regardless if she is with the ML.

Very disappointing that the FL turned him down. No reason for that.
Maybe she should end up with the doctor instead. :-)

Try She Would Never Know - it is lovely - some heartbreak in between but it is resolved. Rowoon is adorable in it.

I'm not into historical dramas- there was only one that I really liked and it may still be on Netflix called Live Up To Your Name. It goes back and forth from past to present, like Chicago Typewriter. It is a nice romance and bridges the past and present well. I rewatched several parts.

Rowoon needs more time to prove himself by taking roles that he feels he can do well. Just don't take anything.

He seems like a nice person - I've watched several of his interviews.

I agree, Rowoon is doing the best he can with the script that he has to work with. It is a jumbled-up script.

I think we may expect too much from him because he is so outstandingly handsome and tall and because of that, he looks different from the rest of the S. Korean actors. Basically, he stands out. So everything gets amplified.

Have you ever watched She Would Never Know? It is still on Netflix.
He has the leading role in it and he did a very good job.

When he is interviewed he seems like a pretty humble guy. He doesn't want to be pointed out that he is very handsome or very tall - he really just cares about his acting ability.

I've watched quite a few Lee Jae Wook series and you are right - I hope he follows his success path.
They are both very tall and have interesting faces.

I don't know where Destined is headed for. It seems to go around and around. I'm up to ep 9 or 10, and I haven't made up my mind if I like it or not.

He had something to do with it but not going all the way.
He is rather an awful person. Poor ML. He tries to be a good brother.

Well, Roowon was good in "She Would Never Know" but in Destined with You - not too good. You are right - choose the best script one can find - otherwise it is a disappointment.

Yes, thank you, it looks like the helper did it on his own but according to the next preview, the brother takes care of the helper with his car.

ML's brother and mother are both really awful. So much hate.
