In looking at the timed comments on Viki there are two sides: one side with the ML and the other with the SML. Some have dropped out because the FL decided to go with the ML.

I live in the San Francisco Bay area and some of the people I know are not drug or alcohol habituals. However, in our town there are two pot stores - which I don't like since it is kind of seamy. Even our city council seem to be quite proud of these pot stores. As long as you can buy it online, that is better than having a bunch of pot stores in your community. That is how I feel, others may disagree.

In the US, drinking has taken a hit. Fewer and fewer people are drinking. Years ago in US movies, someone drunk on the street, was seen as funny. That trope is gone - Smoking and drinking have decreased.

The interesting part is that in spite of all the drinking that is done in real life in Korea, they still make the finest products around: cars, technology, appliances, etc etc. Interesting nation!
