Filing for Love is a bit strange but fun to watch as one keeps watching. The Siren's Kiss is both a mystery and a romance. Perfect Crown is one of my favorites There are so many more that are not necessarily like this one, but they are different from the usual run-of-the-mill recent K dramas.
The one reason I started watching this is because of Ahn Hyo Seop, the ML.
At first, it started as a silly comedy, but as it progressed, it has gotten more serious and more interesting. Now I can't wait until the next episode.
By accident or by design, the latest K dramas have become more engaging to watch and not as conforming as the many previous repetitive K dramas I've watched.
Don't give up on the first few episodes - it gets better and better.
ep 15 was the best of all the episodes. Yoo Yeon Seok took the role seriously and it showed. I'm not usually one that likes fantasy but this was an exception. Waiting for the finish tomorrow
btw: I couldn't find the person who played the ML's father in the cast section of MDL. Does anyone know who he is? Fine actor. Thanks!

K series have not been super exciting as of late, but this one is getting better and better as we are approaching ep 16. Maybe they have added some creative writers as of late?

I agree with you 100% - I'm hanging on to my seat for the next episodes. FL's acting is perfect - facial expressions, her body movements - even her voice - perfect! I too just came off the Boyfriend on Demand - the FL was a pain to watch. I actually liked the two MLs. The ML had to portray a somewhat cumbersome, awkward male lead and did a good job - the SML also acting was convincing.
Going back to Perfect Crown - the ML also carries the role well- quite handsome, and a rather unique speaking voice.
For someone like me who isn't really into historical shows, this one is excellent - melding the current time with the past. It reminds me a bit of the UK and Princess Diana and her issues. I've enjoyed every minute of it - from ep 1-4. Acting is excellent, props are fabulous, and it might even be a rewatch for me!
