You can't win a logical argument with the pro-FL actress. To them, she is perfect in every way. Logic doesn't work. Just continue saying what you want to say but ignore the opposing commenters.

Sometimes we just get stuck on one actor and then in subsequent series we get disappointed like Leo Luo in Love is Sweet!

Thank you! I'll look at Time to Fall in Love. That is a problem. Comparison with the same actor - I loved Love is Sweet but I have not seen another comparable C series with the ML like that :-)

Yes, the younger brother, where did they pull him out of :-) Many C dramas end abruptly or unsatisfying to me so this was different,

Yes, the FL is annoying but her thinking and purpose come from her master who lives up in the hills of China.
The ML does a good acting job even though he is still young and with not have much drama experience.
I like the trio of women who worked for the ML - their humor and nice thinking really helped all the way to the end.
I would say, other than My Little Happiness, this is one of the few Cdramas that I liked besides Ideal City which needed Season 2 desperately.

I would definitely watch it - It's very different from other C dramas.

Thanks for your comment Tina - I just wanted to clarify how I saw it.

Here is the way I see it:

Up to now, we have been used to whether it is the case of an older man with a younger woman or an older woman with a younger man, both of them are Korean perfect actors in looks and style.

However, the reason why ML and FL don't look compatible is that the makeup artists have made her look dowdy ON PURPOSE because she did not want to look attractive since her main purpose was to protect her niece from harm. That's why she never wanted to say she was single and that is why she dressed the way she did.

Makeup people on purpose chose second-hand clothes for her which made her look older and unattractive. They did a convincing job, didn't they?

What will pleasantly surprise us all is that in the following episodes, we'll be able to see the real Jeon Do Yeon and how pretty she really is.

That will shut us all up on both sides of the argument!

Yes, as someone else pointed out there should be only a 3-5 years difference.
But we will be criticized for thinking or even putting our comments on MDL and be accused of hate.
