I can't figure out how old she is supposed to be in the series. She does look about 10 years older than the ML and that is because ML is 39 and FL is 50.
I also think that they made her look pretty dowdy on purpose because she didn't want to have any men around her to protect her "daughter".
If you look at what she really looks like, she is very pretty in real life. I blame the makeup artists and the ones who chose her clothes.
Let's wait until the end. She will probably dress differently and it will make all the difference in the world.

IMO, there are two problems: 1) the casting, I feel that the choice for the FL is wrong. She should have been closer to his age. 2) secondly, they dress FL like a much older person - the selection of clothes and the hairstyle is out of sync for this 2023 drama.
