They literally could not have cast any better than yinwar. I first watched the old mini version and read the book…
I haven't watch the previous mini version nor did I read the book to tell you my impressions, but I definitely agree with you on the casting π These two feel just right π I'm really glad they decided to do a remake with more episodes since it allowed the storyline to take on a slower pace and go more smoohtly π
Don't know about you but when Mark said βFollow meβ and then smoothly passed by Vee he seemed like being 6 feet tall π He has this perfect blend of adorable but also alpha energy when needed (not to mention how his hand went to Vee's neck when they kissed in the shower) π
Also, liking the way Vee realized and vocalized his wrongdoings to Mark β it was that perfect amount of pathos that made me even feel sorry for him instead of being frustrated with his indecisive ass. Didn't expect the episode to end like that though π I guess we're in for 2 episodes of Vee proving to be worthy of Mark (and I'm hoping Mark gives him a hard time) and then 1 episode of honeymoon fluff (?) - either way, curious to see how they'll play it out!
I have to commend Yin and War's acting - this is my first series meeting them and I like the way they're delivering the characters ππ I could do with less of unnecessary drama or plot complications but I'm aware I signed up for it by entering the vast universe of dramas and bl dramas... All in all, thumbs up from me so far π

I know you said that no apologies are necessary but I'd still like to apologize for another belated reply - life is still adulting and it's another busy week...
Also absolutely agree with what you said - that Togawa's smile when Nozue finally decided not to moke was beyond precious! ππ I said it before, I'll say it again - this series is packed with little moments that are so beautifully subtle yet perfectly visible if you know where to look π As you said, one could talk about Togawa and Nozue's story for hours and it would still feel like a new, freshly opened chapter - something that only happens when you have the right cast β¨β¨

Sorry for belated reply, this week was beyond busy π
You worded it perfectly β one of my favourite highlights was, like you said, wickedly savvy and smooth flirting β¨
Don't know if I'll make sense but I especially liked the protective vibe/energy coming from Togawa throughout the entire series, in terms of, if I was a romantic objective of a guy like Togawa I would feel absolutely at ease in his presence. Also, it was cute how he subtly took lead in little moments like in episode 2 when they were having coffee/smoothie in that beautiful glass wall cafeteria (yes, I'm in love with that architectural wonder) β when they were exiting, Togawa went on first and then looked behind him for Nozue to follow him π
And the height difference was a cherry on top β it was an especially cute contrast in the last episode when they were in the alley clearing up all misunderstandings, being happy and in love with Togawa having his hand on Nozue's cheek and don't get me started on Togawa laying his forehead on Nozue's shoulder after Nozue told him he could kiss him anywhere ππ
Flawless acting and chemistry and I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for a second season π€π
My thought exactly, only said far more eloquently than I could have! I could watch their faces all day. A favorite…
500% agreed ππ I simply love when actors have the ability to paint the world of emotions characters are going through with just one tilt of the head, fleeting glance or any kind of subtle body language. One of my favourite moments was in episode 2 when Nozue complained to Togawa that he called him old and Togawa laughed and subtly bit his lip π Also, that wonderful cantine or restaurant with those surreal high glass wall was the perfect surrounding!
There were so many little moments in this series it's hard to name them all, but they were delievered flawlessly β¨ Honestly hoping for season 2 π€
I absolutely love how the actors managed to deliver their characters and emotions through micro expressions too - sideglance, subtle tilt of eyebrow, barely there smile, all of them told a little story of their own and what's even better is that their acting (micro expressions and all) felt natural, nothing seemed forced, it just went smoothly from one episode to another. Not related to acting, but Togawa is really gorgeous with his beautiful and expressive eyes ππ
Five episodes (with under half an hour each), may sound too little to tell a story well, but this series proved once again that it's not about quantity, it's all about quality.
Like Cherry magic and Semantic Error, this one will also be one of those series I'll return to for a cup of good vibes, kudos to the cast π I really hope we maybe get a 2nd season!
Perfect. Iβm putting this up with Semantic Error and a couple others that are so good, you canβt believe it.…
Same - Semantic Error sort of became a benchmark in what makes a bl good (at least for me) and this series definitely reached that benchmark β¨π Also, agree about the thumb π

Exactly, if he really regrets his actions and he's gone through major personal development in this past period, then I need to see some palpable proof - the first step would be to apologize to the people he hurt...
Goooddd, my intuition usually warns me when something is off about someone, but he just went under my radar... as you said, famous last "I thought he was a nice guy" words....
This is my response to the situation with Build.1). The facts. He said some terrible things a few years ago, things…
Thank you for writing out your thoughts - this is really well constructed and it touches the main points of my thoughts today. I feel so dissapointed and hurt because Build is one of the rare actors I came to like in terms of me being more than a casual fan. Seeing him during interviews, how he expressed himself, him being smiley and dorky and adorable on sns β I thought "wow, a decent man" and then this sh*t hit the fan...
At first it left me shocked and confused because I couldn't draw the line between the Build I came to like (who cried at the fan meet with Bible because he was so happy with the fans' support) and the Build who said such awful things 8 years agoβ¦ But then reality hit and now I'm just spent and disappointed and I'm feeling a bit like a fool for coming back to sns and opening new accounts just to fangirl about Build and KP cast in general (funny things is, I planned on posting my first post about Build yesterday but I was busy and then the Universe said βhold on a secβ).
I agree with you 500% when you said that he has to work to gain the trust back, because his 3-tweet apology was not it. Yes, we can argue that people make mistakes (although we need to differ what kind of mistakes) and that people change, but they actually have to have something to show for that change and we didn't get that. Maybe we'll see some development in the days to come, but there's the fact (as you also pointed out) that he chose not to scrub his social media when he was warned about it so I'm keeping my expectations low.
Also, for a second during my fangirling about Build and the cast in general, I kept one major fact at bay (which you also mentioned) and that is that we have no idea who our favourite singers/actors/artists of any kind actually are in their private lives when the lights go out. I set a side the fact that they're people who show us only what we need to see to come to like and support them. I'm not saying all artists have some scandal just waiting to happen but after this Build fiasco, I can't help but wonder what we'll hear about e.g. Mile or Bible or Apo or any other of our favourites in the future? It leaves you with a bitter aftertasteβ¦
Regarding KP, I'll also continue to watch the series because everyone did and is doing amazing job in portraying the characters and they've gone through so much to make this show happen.
Sorry for my verbal outlet, I've been thinking about this all day in the back of my mind, then I saw your comment and the words just came out.
