I have to admit that what initially made me watch “Perfect Crown” was actually the amount of hate it received — and still receives. I’m not particularly a fan of either leads, so at first I planned to skip it entirely. But all the backlash made me curious enough to give it a chance before the remote possibility of it being banned, and honestly? That turned out to be a great decision. I genuinely enjoyed this drama. At the end of the day, this is a rom-com: a completely fictional rom-com set in an alternative reality. And viewed from that perspective, it absolutely fulfills its purpose.
Historical inaccuracies aside — which I can’t really judge due to my lack of knowledge on the subject — the story feels refreshing compared to most Korean rom-coms these days. The acting is solid across most of the cast, the pacing kept me engaged until the very last episode, and, unfortunately, that’s something I can rarely say about recent K-dramas.

Enjoyed this for the most part. Loved the leads. Did not see the killer coming. Unsatisfied by the redemption arc for the mother. When will a kdrama give a terrible parent the ending they actually deserve?
It's not a bad series, at first it reminded me very much of "Itaewon Class" in the atmosphere, but to be honest, it doesn't reach it, it lacks depth, character development, and drama. I don't really like the actress Kim Min Ha, but she looks very organic in this drama, she played well! The main antagonist is very caricatured, I mean actor Moo Jin Sung, he doesn't have a gray area, he's bad and that's it, you have to accept it. Well, in general, it was more or less interesting until the middle, then it got more and more boring, the ending was predictable, new cases did not shine with originality, the authors had already begun to repeat themselves! But overall a solid, average series!
The boy is not the ML's real son. She faked the paternity test for her sister, and in the last episode she told ML to go public with it. Not for a second did she consider the damage that would be done to the boy.. ( first ML wasn't his brother but dad ), and now , if they went public.. ML not being his dad... What a selfish b*tch..
had a strong start & was very interesting until the split,...then became very boring towards to end & too draggy..had to skip through & watch the last 8 episodes...
I binge watched the entire show in one go guys....go for it if you want to watch a light hearted comedy without using your brain. bae suzy surprisingly did well here
After seeing queen for 7 days, most of the time I was thinking the royal family was being way to nice/ understanding…
I've watched three fourths of this and would totally agree it is Cosplay rather than history. The realities of court life is non-existent and so many of the scenes are just purely silly. It is fun but far from realistic in any manner.
Eww sending a love letter to minor? Cheek to cheek pic and claiming he misses her? And when she took her life, he doesn't attend her funeral? Says a lot about this dude... She begged him to let her live. If he only took sympathy or pity on her. She would still be alive. Gosh my baby she's my age and I grew up watching her. I always wondered why she's not doing any roles or taking up projects. Now we know why... She helped him a lot and he just wanted her to die
I really loved this drama. It was incredible, we went through all the emotions, too bad the second couple didn't…
I don't think you need to end any relationship to get success. They didn't end up together because they started focusing on each other's flaws. They took every action of other in negative way, the 2FL started doing it and then 2ML continued doing it.
I genuinely enjoyed this drama.
