She took her sister's credit, her sister donated half her heart to 1 of the emperor. She knew her sister was in love with that emperor and because they dont permit love in heaven she tries to help her sister but ends up hurting her instead. She blames her sister for all her short comings. After her sister dies she tries to makeup for everything. Helped her sister in the second half of the show by donating half her heart and dies trying to rescue her.

geez, what’s your problem. I’m glad you knew what her rant about Jing is about. i didn’t so i asked her to make sure i understood what she was saying. she said i didn’t and so I’ve apologized for it. i don’t understand why you gotta instigate and make a big deal out of nothing.

i read your post and what all 3 men.. all you talked and complained about is Jing. and all i did was defend him.. what’s wrong with that?

he the best chest player doesn’t mean he understands and can solve every problem that the world throws at him. sometimes people have to learn through experience. he doesn’t have Television or the internet where he can just ask about a problem and get a solution.
I’m glad you know what to do with your family when they do something bad to you. glad its easy for you to get rid of someone like his grandmother who had sacrificed so much for him and the only mistake she did was tricking him to marry the person she wants him to marry. or kill someone like his brother who loved him for hundreds of years, but did what he did because of what Jing’s mother had done to him. maybe you don’t value your family like Jing does that’s why you don’t understand his predicament. i value mine, if they’ve done something bad to me i wouldn’t be able to just kill them off because no matter what they’re still my family.
you know what Jing’s fiancee was doing to him because you’re an outsider watching everything that’s happening, while he saw a girl who just wants to marry him and tried her hardest to make that happen. he was suspicious of her, suspicious of her wanting to marry him for his wealth and power, but how would he know she’s working with his brother trying to kill him, when he hasn’t seen any signs or intent of any of that happening. although he’s a god he can’t predict the future or predict what bad things people will do to him.

XL’s love is the most selfless? how is it selfless when he always asked for something for everything he does. what did he do for XY after all those times he sucked her blood to heal? what did he do for her after all those times she made poison for him? what did he do for her when she helped him get free medicine and getting it back from CX? she even got tortured because of this. when Jing went to XL to get XL to help him go rescue XY, XL didn’t even agree right away, he was hesitant about it when she helped him so much. when she asked him to remove the bug from CX to himself, that wasn’t free. she had to promised him she’ll do something for him in the future or else her love will become pain and her happiness will be bitter. XL serving a bunch of rebels even though they hate him sure sounds like Jing. i guess he’s as dumb as Jing, at least Jing’s family loved him at one point. how is he dignified when he hit and abus women?

I asked you if you read the book, i didnt tell you to read it. I just wanted to see if your analysis about Jing was from the whole story or just from season 1. Because later CX will do everything he can to keep XY by his side even if itll hurt her. Thats her family who was doing that to her. If she didnt learn to be forgiving and kind from jing then what do you think she should have done to him? kill him like the way you want jing to kill his brother and grandma? At that point CX's the king of the whole vast wilderness. Remember she doesnt care for the greater good. If she killed her cousin the world will become chaotic and disarray. You may think Jing's way is a double edge sword, but XY think it's worth her love

Jing took really good care of her when they were in Qing Shui town. He did everything: cooked, cleaned, tucked her in, cared for her when she was sick or hurt, learned medicine, packaged medicine, find her when shes missing, etc. He did whatever he could and still you wouldnt be satisfied, while you ignore all the torments XL gave her at the time. You talk about baggage, wasnt it XL who dragged XY into his? Getting meds for the soldier and using her to get them back from CX. When she was introuble Jing had to ask or self he wouldnt even think about helping. Then used her again to lure CX. He even tried to rape her. But still Jing's the worse.

Jing would never pull her into his family's baggage thats why he asked for 15 yrs, when he's done taking care of everything he'll return to her as Ye Shi Qi. Everything meaning his family, family business, and fiancee. Hes onl y kind and forgiving towards his family.

If Jing didnt come in time after she was assassinated and pour all his power into her then even XL wouldnt havd been able to rescue her. CX said this in ep33, 7:42. So he also helped XL in the process. Jing was onlyseeking death when he thought she died.

How is he selfish when he was helping CX he did everything he could to help CX acieve his goals. He did all this for XY and never took credit. He still helped CX even after they broke up

Sorry, i read your whole comment but couldnt remember everything, i did reread it but its so long when i trailed off i could only remember a few things..

What you're asking is why she picked Jing when he didnt keep his promised and he hurt her in the process? While her cousin loves her as much and is doing all this for her. And XL also loved her as much used one of his life to save her.

It was Jing who slowly shattered the hard shell around her heart. No matter how many test she puts on him he doesnt mind proving himself over and over again to show her that he loves her. Theyve both suffered emotional trauma, but jing kept on moving forward and he influenced her to move forward too. Once the hard shell is shattered, shes totally in love with him, so itll be difficult for her to forget him.

Although CX and XL loves her as much as jing, they didn't tell her. Even with their actions she didnt see it. XY wants someone to put her first above everything. CX may have done all this for her but he got too busy for her. He promised to make wine for her but didnt while Jing sends her cases of them. Jing is also doing everything he can to help CX achieve his goals. XY knows hes doing it for her. Later CX will do many hurtful things to XY just to keeps her by his side.

XL may have saved her but he traded something for it. He made XY think their relationship is just a transaction. And how can she love him when hes her family's enemy. He tried to kill CX many times and later will kill someone closed to her. Jing would never used her to make a deal and will never hurt her family or anyone closed to her because that'll only hurt her.

Although Jing was tricked by his family, its his family. They loved and protected him for a lot longer than when they hate him, for hundreds of years. Especially his grandmother who hadnt done anything wrong but asked him to marry YY. She struggled and sacrificed alot for the family, so how can he not trust her. Hes only forgiving and kind towards his family. Plus XY knew how dangerous YY was, she saw how many time YY tried to kill CX and how she did it, but she never told Jing. Because of her inaction she lost the man she loved. So XY cant totally blame Jing for not taking the threat seriously if she didnt tell him how or why the threat was serious.

Jing helped CX the whole time he was seeking the throne. He took every threat that came at CX seriouly. He sent help when CX needed it. He destroyed palaces to get CX to move to the central plains, he cooked the books when CX was under suspension, he used his family business accounts to help feed and train CX 20,000 army for almost 40 yrs. Nice guys don't do these kinda stuff

Why blame Jing for getting the girl, XY doesnt have to keep her promise, she can just move on if she wants, she did it before, when they were in Hiyan. Jing was busy traveling and persuading FL to support CX and asked FL to send someone to help CX because Jing predicted the 2 uncles would try to kill him. Thats why XY was mad and she was already hanging out with Bei. If her cousin didnt ask her for Jing then she wouldnt have seen him. Jing didnt even say anything or remind her of the promise when she almost left with Bei. She's the one who turned around on her own.
Plus you know what when they woke up from the comma, 15 yrs already passed, XY was free to look for other men. if she thought Jing was weak and didnt like him, then nothing was holding her back anymore. Dont know why you guys keep blaming Jing. They also broke up even more reason for her to seek other men, and she did! Did you guys forget shes engaged to FL? No one is stopping CX or XL to confess to XY. XY has already said she doesnt like being lonely so she'll give a chance to the first person who tells her they like her and want to be with her.
The reason why she likes Jing is not because hes the first guy who confessed and made her promised not to like other men. She likes him because if in the future she does something bad like betray him, he will still love her, forgive her and not abandon her.

Yup I read the whole novel and I read it many times. I know she loved Jing and CX (Chapter 47) because the author clearly wrote that she loved them in the novel but she didn’t do that for XL. I can give you the chapters to all the scenes mentioned and you can do a word search on the chapter to reread those scenes if you want.

Even words used to describe how XY feels about the men she loved like blush, nervous, happy feeling, turned beet red, heart racing, heart thundering, heat throbbing were hardly described on XY for XL. She blushed once for XL but that was because she was with him and she remember the intimate things XL did to her when they were in the sea clam (chapter 43). Her heart is hard Jing had to soften it many times before he was able to break the hard shell around her it (chapter 22). This also indicates her feelings towards that person and in the novel XL only soften it once (chapter 4).

she told XL that she couldn’t make poison for him anymore after she got married, so that crystal ball was made because it was the last (chapter 31), that’s why it was special. She never told him to come for her. She never met XL at the dragon bone prison, that was her and Jing’s spot. That’s where he confessed to her (chapter 8), asked her for 15 yrs. (chapter 8), rescued her (chapter 13 ), and where she kissed him (chapter 13). When Ah Nian pushed XY for XL after the princess ceremony, she pushed XY from a cliff not prison. XY then went into the ocean and XL tried to kiss her but she refused. When she ran out of air he took her to the surface above the water and that’s where they talked (this was in the novel, but in the drama he took her to an island). He then made her swim back where she met Jing (chapter 13). This was the only time XY and XL interacted in Gao Xing.

Bei died because XL said he died (chapter 32). He didn’t have to die if XY told him she wanted to stay with him. Before XL asked XY who she wanted to spend her life with (Chapter 32) he asked her if she wanted to marry Ye Shi Qi and she said yes. Then he asked her who she wanted to spend her entire life with and she didn’t answer. He tried to use his powers to look into her heart but her mind was too strong willed and she refused to answer it (chapter 32). It didn’t necessarily mean it was XL, she probably blocked it because the person she was thinking about already has a wife and son. Why would she want to marry Jing but spend the rest of her life with XL? If XL could go into XY’s heart to see who she loved then why is he doing this now? If she ever loved him then he would’ve already felt it.

it did turn into heartbreak bug. Did you not see him in pain grabbing his chest when he made XY swim back and Jing rescued her and carried her to the Dragon bone prison(chapter 13)? However XY didn’t feel the pain when the bug was attacking XL, she only felt the bug attacking her when she saw Jing at CX’s wedding. She asked XL if he felt the pain when her heart ache he said yes (chapter 26).

She did try to put the bug into XL but it didn’t go in. When she tried to pu the bug in CX, it went in because she loved him and he loved her at the time (chapter 5). However it wasn’t stable because CX didn’t whole heartly accepted it, CX didn’t know Xiao Liu was XY at that time and CX hated Xiao Liu for hurting Ah Nian. When XY transferred the bug to XL he whole heartly accepted it and showed the bug he loved XY but XY didn’t have to do that on her end because it was already in her(chapter 13). When the bugs were in them only XL felt what XY felt, but she couldn’t feel XL felt, probably because he loved her but she didn’t. I’ve looked in the novel for more explanations but there’s not much(chapter 37). The drama didn’t explain it well either.

if the book explained XY’s feelings for XL well then I wouldn’t be asking you. I thought XY liked Bei more than XL because that’s what it looked like from her dream(chapter 27). Even in the show when Bei was in her room healing and she remembered all those times they’ve interacted with one another but when she remembered XL pushing her off the tree, you can tell from her face that she hated him. If you don’t want to type then its fine, not going to force you to do something you don’t want. I’m not asking you to give me all the good examples of XY’s feelings for XL I just want at one good one. The ones you’ve mentioned I’ve already countered.

I never said she only loved Jing, I’ve said she loved Jing and CX. I also mentioned she liked Bei. If its clearly shown throughout the novel then it why can’t you give me 1 good example of it. It you want to convince people Jing isn’t XY’s second option then let me give you a few good examples.

1. The reason XY loves to eat snack is not because she like the taste but because of how it made her felt, when she broke up with Jing she stopped buying them (chapter 31).
2. When they broke up she spit out a mouth full of blood because she found out FFYY was pregnant. Just with that reaction you can tell how much Jing meant to her(chapter 25).
3. She had nightmares and insomnia at night and daze off during the day. That’s because shes thinking of him and the stuff they did together in the past. It occurred a lot and for a long time (chapter 25, 26, 27,29,30,31).
4. She promised him she wouldn’t let any man into her heart (chapter 8).
5. She only acts girly when she’s with Jing (drama).
6. Tried to kill her cousin, a very important person to her, to avenge Jing (chapter 47).
7. Tried to kill herself to be with Jing (chapter 47).
8. Becoming royale mother, back then she would rather not get her powers back than stay here (chapter 49).
9. When she saw Jing at CX’s wedding after they’ve broken up her heart ached (chapter 26).
10. When she went shopping and bumped into Jing she ran off crying (chapter 29).
11. Jing was the only guy she ever kissed (Chapter 20). When XY and XL were under water and their lips touched because she needed a breath of air that doesn’t count as a kiss because she didn’t react to it (chapter 7)
12. The hard shell encasing her heart was broken by Jing (chapter 22)
13. She’s always jealous of the women around Jing. Jing’s the only person she ever felt jealous for (chapter 4, 14, 16 and 19).
14. XY sang a song of longing for her lover only for Jing. (chapter 20)

Bravo! Just because Jing is forgiving towards his family doesnt make him weak. Hes like that only towards his family. XY likes him because she knows she's ruthless like her family and she needs someone like Jing to not abandon her.

Well, I don’t know if she was falling for him or not but I know that he softened her hard heart once and that’s probably why she told him about the dream speech. It softened when he took her to the ocean.

Wait everyday she sat on the jagged rocks outside the Dragon Bone Prison and looked out over the deep blue ocean? Isn’t that where she made the 15 yrs promise with Jing and isn’t that where he rescued her and took her to talk and she kissed him? Are you sure she isn’t thinking of Jing and staring in the direction where Jing is at? Isn’t Haoling surrounded by water or mostly surrounded by water? If she’s thinking about XL shouldn’t she go else where and stare at the ocean from there?

“Seven day later since XL doesn’t come for her” did she asked XL to meet her or get her?

I think she did like Bae but not XL. Didn’t she have that dream where she saw Jing playing with his son and was so sad she ran, she ran from Qing Qui to Qing Shui town. When she reached the river she jumped in and started swimming. She swam towards the ocean and saw Bae surfaced and started swimming towards him, but when he changed into XL she stopped and swam to the shores I tears.

If XY was waiting for XL for 7 days then why didn’t XY stay with him after he took her away from her wedding? Why did she go to Qing Qui to find Jing? He was still married and had a kid.

No need to apologize for the rude people. I know what you mean. When I read people bashing on Jing or the actor who plays Jing I get upset too but at least I apologize when they tell me I’m rude. Sometimes when I’m mad I comment with my emotion, I don’t mean or notice it just happens that way.

I’m not blaming XY for no reason, she’s the one who blamed herself and said it herself that it was her fault too! Let me also quote that part for you.

She was testing him because she liked him! Keep failing? Helping her run from CX and being an enemy of both Hiyan and Haoling for XY was him failing? Not communicating with her for a long time because he was helping her cousin not get killed and gain power for the throne was him failing?

When I said beat her to death I didn’t mean it literally. I meant he’ll do something extreme like break her legs or something similar. Don’t tell me you don’t think he’ll do those things either because of his “great virtue and great flaw in soul deep loyalty”. So what if he’s in love with her. He was in love with her since the beginning and he still tortured her.
When I said CX would have given up on it because his heart is as hard as hers. I meant he would give up on liking her. That’s why I said his heart is as hard as hers. She keeps testing Jing because she wants him to fail and she would stop giving herself hope.
