When Jing went looking for XY at the Chenrong army, Jing went to her, picked her up and left, XL said "a woman and a high ranking deity hiding their identity. Interesting." Then when XL went to Xiao Liu to ask Jing for the medicine he asked Xiao Liu, "that man, the one who you always hide everytime I show up, is that Tu Shan's second son?" Not sure if that implies he recognized him from the Chenrong army or heard rumors that the Tu Shan 2nd son was found in town. XL did bring up Hou and knew Hou didn't like Jing and made Jing disappeared before his wedding. Maybe Hou hired XL to assassinate Jing if Hou wasnt able to capture him? Though that didnt mean XL has seen Jing or hasn't seen him.
In the show it seems like XL's army was sick for a while and XL didnt go to Jing until after someone identified him. Thats why i thought XL didnt know Shiqi was Jing until he went to XY to ask Jing for medicine.

Jing says the fox demon is probably his relative, foxes with 9 tails are rare and the ones he know of are related to him.
I think XY calling the fox a demon is because she didnt like him.
CX's assistant is a mulberry tree. There was the rabbit lady who gave birth in the beginning. The stone man who told stories. Left Ear is also a demon but they didnt say what kind.

So you'll have to read Once promised or watch A Lifetime of Love to know this. It was XY's real dad who cut off the fox demon's tail and gave it to XY. The 9th prince asked the demon fox to kidnap XY so he can blackmail his sister into telling the truth behind her relationship with Chi Chen and who XY's father is. XY's mom asked Chi Chen for help, he found XY and brought her back just in time her mom was going to confess. The 9th prince was the fox demon's best friend. XY's mom killed the 9th prince. The demon fox wanted revenge for his best friend and tail, so when he found XY he trapped her, tortured her, and wanted to eat her to regain some of his lost powers.

Although 3ML is very popular, 2ML has a good amount of fans. Not use with the couple ranking on weibo lately but they were the #1 couple for quite a while.
I agree with you 3ML's attitude and arrogance is annoying, hes so ruthless toward FL even when she helps him. Right now hes holding back and is nice towards the FL but when he has her, he'll go back to his old ways. When they were in the ocean, she told him if she dies again and he saves her she'll be more like him and he choked her and dared her to die again. Bad habits are hard to change. XY said this herself, in the future when shes bad only a kind person can tolerate her. And yes i love the scenes when 3ML tries to make 2ML jealous but they backfire on him.

I think ep 29, when Bei asked Jing to transfer Weapons and Rations to Qing Shui town.

XL knew Ye Shi Qi was TSJ when they were in Qing Shui town. He asked XY to do him a favor and ask TSJ to gather medicine for his sick soldier. At the time CX bought all the medicine in town so that the Chenrong army will just die off and stop being his grandfather's problem. XL knew TSJ will be able to help him and he did, trading expensive ice crystals for cheap medicine from upper class families.

Oh no. I dont mind.. i like going back and referencing the book.. theres just so much you can remember and its easy to search with my kindle. Man in the drama the grand emperor helped CX sooo much, sad how he repays the emperor. Wonder what the grand emperor do to his parents, uncle and aunt that made him hate the emperor. I should just finish the drama, a life time love, but its sooo bad....
Man i feel so bad for jing. I mean i knew what was going to happened. So I have viki and they have this feature where you can add comments while the drama is playing and theyre display on the top of the drama. People who used to like Jing start hating on him, calling him weak and meek. Hope he doesnt lose fans because of the stupid granda. Hope no one is disappointed when he goes back with XY later.

Since you've watched it do you know why CX was so mad at the grand emperor that lead to him attacking Gaoxing? Was it really the grand emperor's fault that lead to CX's parents, uncle, and aunt death? Did the yellow emperor have anything to do with their death?

But if it weren't for Jing to come in time to pour his power into XY during the death maze then XL and XY would also have died. Even XL mentioned it to CX but he didnt know it was Jing who came in time.

yup yup.. she was, she threw a bottle at his forehead. she begged and pleaded for him to stop and didn't talk to him for a long time, until she went to the military camp.

Yup, AN still loves him. When the grand emperor gave the kingdom to CX, he said he had a personal matter that he was still worried about and that was AN and her future. He wasn't worried about XY, he said all he needed to do for her was prepare dowry and wait for her to marry. However, he was worried about AN's future, he then asked CX who he should marry her to. Here's their Dialogue:

GE: "She leaves me with a headache and worry. CX, who should I marry her off to?"
CX: "I thought Master wanted to marry AN to Ru So. "
GE: "Ru So? He would be willing to die for me in battle before he would agree to marry AN. Even if he agreed AN would never marry him. "
CX: "Then keep on looking?"
GE: "Since you left Haoling I have been looking for the past hundred years and still she hasn't found one she likes. It's even more exhausting dealing with her than dealing with the Bai Hu and Chang Yi tribes! (the 2 Haoling tribes that changed sides and went to CX) I said it all, logic and persuasion, and even hoped that your war against Haoling would end her feelings. Who knew she was so persistent and still only wants you! CX, tell me what i should do with her?"

CX lowered his head while XY was giggling and sprawled next to the Grand Emperor. He asked Xiao Yao.

GE: "What do you think Dad should do?"
XY: "What does my little sister want?"
GE: "Of course she wants to marry that CX"
XY: "Dad doesn't object?"
GE: "Will my objection change anything? I've objected tens of years and now I'm tire. I've figured it out and decided to just go with it. Life may be long but it's her life, why not give in to her and let her have what she wants. XY, do you agree with Dad? XY, do you think that CX would agree to marry my daughter?"
XY tugged on CX's sleeves: "Hey you, do you agree to marry my Dad's daughter?"

CX stared at XY's hand and felt the absurdity of the world on him. If years ago he didn't help Tu Shan Jing get close to XY, if back then he made his feelings for XY clear like TSJ, if he never let her hand go... would the "my dad's daughter" that XY was asking about today be referring to her and not AN? Would he then happily yell "Yes!" and not once again forced to agree to marry another woman in front of XY?

XY: "CX?"
CX: "As long as master doesn't object then I of course will be willing. Except... AN is the Princess and I already have an Empress."
GE: "I've only heard of one Kingdom cannot have 2 rulers, never heard of one kingdom cannot have 2 empresses. If you can make Xing Yue Empress then you can also make AN empress."

XY suddenly yelled: "I agree, I agree! My little sister of course has to be an Empress!"

CX stared at XY and while his smile deepened but his eyes were dark like 2 unending wells with no light. XY suddenly felt this odd sensation so she yelled, "What? What did i say wrong?"

CX smiled: "No you said nothing wrong. I will marry AN using the pomp and circumstances of marrying my Empress and give her the same position as Xing Yue."
GE: "I will move to Xuyuan Mt and this palace will now belong to you. I suggest you give one palace to AN since she grew up here. I don't feel comfortable with her personality living with the daughter of the Chenrong family and causing you problems. Why don't the 2 empresses each live on one mountain. Xing Yue on Chenrong Mt and AN on Wushen Mt." (if you didn't know already, in the novel Five Gods Mt is Wushen Mt)

That was how AN married CX. Do you think if CX confessed to XY like Jing in the beginning, would she be the one with CX and CX with her? I dont think so, I think with CX's ambition he would be too busy for her. She hates being lonely and loves to talk, so she'll go find Jing and pretty sure Jing will find anyway to meet her. She will only be with CX if he gives up his ambition and i don't think he would do that. In the book when Jing said he would give up being Tu Shan Jing, CX couldn't believe a man would willingly give up everything to be with a woman because he himself couldn't do that

Also i don't think CX marrying AN was a bad idea. I think he did had some feelings for her. in Ep 35, CX had a coat and waited for XY to arrive from Wushen Mt, but there was 2 Haoling princesses walking towards him and he stood there not knowing who to give the coat to. if he really only loved XY wouldn't he just give the coat to her instead of just standing there being indecisive? wouldn't it be better to make it clear to AN that he loved XY and clear things up so that AN can move on? well i guess he didn't want XY to know that he loved her, but he could have just make an excuse that he was pretending so that AN understand he didn't like her in that way...

Yea, so the wedding date was set for Jing and XY, of course CX was really sad she was going to marry another man, so he left and i guess made a deal with Hou and helped Hou get rid of all the body guards that were there.. Hou tries to kill Jing but instead of killing him he critically injures him and kicked him really hard towards the ocean. See how ungrateful he is towards Jing and Jing helped him so much. even though he didn't know it was Jing who planned some of the big stuff but he the stuff he knew was still a lot. Some of the commenters said Jing did this to scheme and meet with XY, but Jing helped CX early on not knowing it would be an obstacle to meet XY and still helped CX when they were broken up and he didn't benefit from it.

well it is said that women raised these bugs so they can plant it into their lovers. it can lead 2 people to be connected in life and emotions but when they turn on each other the bugs become heartbreak bugs and the bugs will kill the both of them. so if the male betrays the female, she doesn't have to do anything and they both die, it's the same the other way around. so when she saw Jing her heart was throbbing and the bug was hurting her, she called out XL because she didn't know why the bug was hurting her and maybe thought XL was playing tricks or thought of him because he knew more about the bug

Oops i put the stuff about AN in the wrong place. Let me put it here so its not confusing:

Her dad loved her so much and he already knew she wasnt his daughter, he treated her so well but someone had to ruined it. So the last time she saw her dad, he took XY and Ah Nian to sea for a fun daddy and daughters outing. They caught fish, crabs and other sea food. XY knew AN loved crabs so she cooked the largest crab for AN, and at that moment AN thought how great it was to have a sister. That night AN went to XY's room to sleep with her and have girl talk, she asked XY why she ran away from her wedding and if it's because she didnt love him? XY answered yes, then AN talked about CX. The next day before XY left she promised her sister she would teach her swimmimg when she comes back but she never came back. CX ordered the attack on Haoling, a few months later XY found out what her cousin was doing and she was not happy she threw a bottle at CX's forehead. He told her why he's doing it and it involved his parents, uncle, and XY's mom. In the show the emperor always rub his ring, its actually XY mother's finger bone. Dont know the why she cut her finger. XY begged CX not to attack Haoling but he didnt listen. So she stopped talking to him for a while. Then he took her and Jing to the military camp in Hoaling. One day AN came to the camp to assassinate FL but was caught. Jing recognized her and brought her to XY. When AN saw XY she cried and said to her,
AN: "Ru So told me not to blame you, said you were pitiful, but how are you pitiful? I'm the pitiful one, with a fake sister who lied to made me treat her as a real older sister..."
XY: "i never lied to you to be your older sister, i really wanted to be your older sister. It's just..."
AN: "And what? After finding out later then you didn't want to be my sister anymore, right?"
XY:"Not that i didnt want to but...Ah Nian, the grand emperor had me stricken from the Haoling family tree and forbade me from using the Haoling last name."
AN mouth dropped open and didnt know how to berate XY anymore, by being stricken from the family then XY would have no right to go to Five God's Mountain.
AN: "then you... if you cant come to Five Gods Mountain then atleast send message to say hi to me. I... I'm still waiting for you."
CX came in the tent and XY left to let then talk privately. AN begged him to stopped attacking Haoling but he didnt listen and told her it had nothing to do with her, its between her father and him. She told him her father was exhausted, his hair has turned all white and his health is worsening and now has difficulty walking. She begged and pleaded but CX said he couldnt do that. He told her to rest and he'll send her back the next day. XY wanted to sleep with AN but he wouldnt let her and told her to sleep else where. He didnt want them to get close. Then the next day he sent AN back.

A few days later one of the officials from Haoling went to FL and told him he wanted to change side and fight for CX. When the grand emperor heard of this he wanted to go to battle and fight that official and his clan and teach them a lesson but he was too sick to do it and so he sent AN.

When XY heard the emperor was sick she wanted to go to five gods mt to check on him. CX forbade her to go but she told him the war was between them and it had nothing to do with her and left with Jing. CX couldnt stop her and let her go then decided to join her. When they got to the palace they saw the emperor, he was so ill he needed to see officials in his private resident. So the reason the emperor is ill and has a injured leg was because he took XY and Jing to see XY's mom and was gravely injured. If he rested properly and healed then he would have mostly recovered by then but he was plagued by emotional and mental worries. Everyday fretting over the officials and the war, and everynight sorrowful thoughts about the past, unable to sleep. That's why his illness didn't heal but instead had gotten worse, if he continues this way then he will died.

The emperor talked about how the world pitied him for not having a son to take over the throne but he didnt want a son because he was afraid his son would do to him like what he did to his own father to get the throne. The emperor explained that he knew Consort Jing couldn't bear anymore kids and he didn't want any more consort, so he knew he would only have 2 daughters. XY heard what he said, she bit her lip while staring at the grand emperor. The grand emperor reached out his hand and said, "Xiao Yao, I remember when you were small. Every night you would sit in front of the court steps with your eyes staring ahead until you saw me. Then you would happily run towards me and into my arms. That was the happiest part of my day because you loved me not for my power or anything else, but because I was your dad. I loved and coddled you because you were my daughter, even if I didn't promise your mom or if I didn't know your uncles, I would still have love and treated you the same. Don't be mad at the cold way I've pushed you away, I just didn't want you to feel torn between CX and me." XY tightly gripped the emperor's hand as if fearing she would losing him again. She told him she understood and wasnt angry but the moment she saw him she only called him "your majesty". He confronted about that and she admitted she was a little mad then cried out "dad!". See he had unconditional love for her but CX hurted both of them and AN!

He then looked at CX, told him that although he has many nephews but not a single one was worthy. The emperor however said he "hand raised and trained 3 capable disciples, Ju Mang is reliable and pulls through, Ru So can be trusted with important tast, and CX... I taught you for 200 years so I know that your ambition is not on one mountain or one land but the vast wilderness. Since you left Haoling, I have been waiting for you to come back." So he already planned on giving his kingdom to CX. Doesn't this make CX look like an bigger jack a$$, so ungrateful. Not sure what happened to his parents aunt and uncle, maybe the drama will show us. Like CX said whatever went between the emperor and CX's elders was between them, it had nothing to do with CX.

Its sad but you know what its not that bad... after they broke up youll see how sad she is that Jing is not with her. Shows she still loves him. Though not sure if the drama will show it, but did you see her having nightmares or have insomnia? Or she sitting in a corner dazing off? Her crying or her heart throbbing when she sees him? Or her going to him before her wedding, giving him wine and snacks to repay all the wines and snacks he had given her in the past? Thats when he knew she wasnt happy about marrying FL. I havent watched all thd eps yet.
