I really don’t understand how this drama is one of the top dramas. It’s soooo cheesy and sometimes even the…
It was HYPED, and full of good looking men in uniform, sometimes shirtless, and it was lead by Song Joong KI. Badass boys doing badass stuff and every woman could pretend she was the FL and the SFL.

Brutally truthful and that's why I agree, especially the "review" of Kim Eun-sook. ESPECIALLY Kim Eun-Sook. It's still refreshing to read a review that stands high among the accommodating flow of mediocrity almost 6 1/2 years later.

"Maybe I really do lack something." NO, you don't. But they are expecting you and everyone else NOT to question what they've hyped as "brilliant".

This show has nothing but clichés. It's slow where it shouldn't be and filled with useless scenes and dialogue.…
"What shocked me was that such mediocrity actually appealed to people:/"
The entertainment biz has realized it doesn't take much to appeal to people. Seems the influx of western viewers who (the majority) have limited and below standard imaginations have greatly influenced the industry, and not in a good way.

South Korea has had years of examples of westerners use to the substandard and accepting nothing more. Gore, sex within 5 mins of meeting, violence, subpar writing, and multiple seasons which greatly contributed to the subpar writing, etc , and one has a disaster in the making. That's why so many people stopped watching western TV (me included).

Mediocre it has been for a couple of years (& More?). Have you noticed it all started after (or with) Squid Game? And there's been a definite pattern of pre-release hype that has gone well above the norm from a couple of years ago, I think, it's to make up for the mediocrity. It's become a vicious cycle...Hype, Mediocre script & direction, Let down, Repeat. The masses, unlike yourself, don't want to be seen as individualistic so they follow along with the "It's a masterpiece" scenario, thus perpetuating the vicious cycle, and the scriptwriters (and everyone else involved) don't produce quality writing. Pretty faces, as well as the gore, etc, are being used to cover up what's lacking in the writing and direction.

BUT there's been a falling away because of this. Viewers are seeing through this and are tired of being seen as stupid and being disrespected, and are finding other avenues for their dramas. Up to now I've stuck with Korean dramas. Now I'm thinking toward Japan, Taiwan....

"we need to know which type of drugs are safe for consumption and the dosage of them."
"Tell me which drugs, with the exception of alcohol and marijuana are safe?"
"there should be some sort of thresholds and policy to keep safe when using them."

I'm almost positive there wouldn't be a single person here who could answer your question unless they are a practicing M.D. Make an appointment with your Doctor and discuss this with him/her. Any opinion other than one from an M.D. would be just that, an opinion, and not backed by the prevailing science, of which any practicing doc would have knowledge of.

Na In Woo deserves 1st Male Lead roles.
You forgot to EDIT this comment you made from a day ago. He SHOULD accept the offer.

Yeah, it took you a minute to figure out he SHOULD accept the role. Actually, it took you more than 24 hours to understand the role he was offered AND the meaning of second lead based on the webtoon. But that's how people live and learn. Next time please wait a day or at least a few hours before you jump in and comment under everyone, the article, and someone's profile . Your ORIGINAL comment showed your extremely young age, and dude, it'll save you a LOT of time having to go back and EDIT all your comments to make it appear they were written much later with smarts intact. People screenshot immediately, not hours later, bc the internet is forever.

You said it very well. 🥰I haven't started TD2. Rewatching TD, and I'm amazed at how much I overlooked the first time or didn't care how many mistakes were made, plot holes, etc. Still love it, just not crazed like the first time. I don't change my rating from the first watch after subsequent watches no matter how my enthusiasm has waned.

The rating is almost 100% on a particular streaming site for both TDs and another drama, and all 3 have the same channel manager. The reviewers are still complaining about rating manipulation. Unless you leave 10 Stars on a review your review is flagged as inappropriate and is hidden from public view, so the channel manager has an advantage over others applying for the role on upcoming dramas & films. Manipulation much? I don't go by that sites ratings anymore. MDL is closer to real world.

"Above all I hate her being shipped with Kim Do-gi, ewwwwww. I mean Kim do-gi and Go-eun look so perfectly cute together why would people ship Do-gi with that useless prosecutor."

The shipping was all in their head. There isn't even a Romance tag for the drama. People think if a drama has a male lead and has a female lead it means they should be shipped. That's childish thinking. This drama actually has 2 male leads AND 2 female leads.

Taxi driver Season 2 STILL does NOT have a Romance tag, so there should not be any romance, even though there is STILL 2 male leads and the 1 female lead.

I liked that the storyline had a prosecutor role and it did have potential. I didn't like how the character was written. It was weak, passive, not of much use, and did NOT contribute one iota. I'd wondered if the first writer would've utilized the prosecutor better in the second half. We'll never know since the writers were changed after episode 10.

I'm planning to watch this drama. Is it good, I'm confused seeing the mixed reviews.
You've planned on watching this drama, so all I can suggest is to go ahead and watch it with an open mind. Don't consider the reviews. Yes, reviews are mixed, but the ONLY way to know if a drama is good or not is to watch it for yourself, right?!

The problem is people think the male lead and the female lead will be paired in every drama and film, regardless whether the tag Romance isn't listed. They don't take into consideration unless it's cast with all females, or cast with all males, there WILL BE a male lead and a female lead. Not too many are critical thinkers nowadays.

Hopefully your repetitious concern will be heard all the way over to his agency in SK. Surely someone sitting behind the president's desk at Cube Entertainment has super bionic ears and hears your plea stating the exact same thing under all the comments and under the article and under Na In Woo's profile. Maybe Na In Woo will have a chartered plane pick you up and personally have you delivered to the president's office bc obviously someone there isn't promoting Na In Woo like they should. While there, interview for a position. Dude, stop annoying people, seriously.

If he is then he's def being typecast, and that's so hard to break.
