Under the Queen's Umbrella Episode 3

The last 15 mins showed the pure love of a mother toward her child. Her child. Nothing more, or less than love toward her child. If everyone in this world had this unconditional love (without ANY conditions attached) then this world wouldn't be in the mess it's in.ps. I cried buckets for both of them. For the mother to have lost a son, and gained a daughter. For the son to have lost his old self, and gained his new identity.

The BEST honor a drama could give to our veterans is set as an example in Tomorrow Episode 6 with the 91 year old Korean War veteran. The details which went into this episode were excellent, right down to the older man veteran appearing before his mother who died during his service to his country. The last time she'd laid eyes on him was when he was leaving, so her memory of him was of a young man and that is how he appeared again before her. This episode alone is worth a whole box of tissues.

For anyyone who knows about hypervigilance: This episode had my hairs standing on end from the 44:08 minute mark. Yes, we as the viewers know he is a lawyer (and a good father) wanting to talk to the main "witness", however, I couldn't see past the trauma I endured when I was much much much younger which lead to the hyperviligance. The scenes surrounding the lawyer wanting to talk to the "witness" were extremely hard to watch for this reason. My mind saw nothing but a predator preying on a young female child.

Out of the 16 Episodes, this ep 15 is exceptionally written. It's so nuanced into human behavior I had to look up the writer. Very unusual for a penultimate episode.

Such great writing. It's been a long tim since there's been this much nuance in writing in a long long time. Absolutely studding.💯🥰💯

The extended scene between Ga Hee and Hyo Shin from the 9:10 - 10:35 point gave the viewers much needed stress relief. Thank you, writer, even though you could see it was all natural, and not scripted.

What can I say except I hate the turn of events in our beloved family's story, all because of one vile woman. What we sow, so shall we reap. She'll get her's and it'll be oh so satisfying.

Great episode with the sweetest youngest daughter of Joon Sun. Taking shape around the, hopefully, reunion of the brother and sister with a side detour for now. His desperation will show in the next episode.

Finally our main couple can BE a couple without everyone imposing their own agenda onto them. Our ML has to make a decision to forgive, or not. Our suspicions about a certain character have more sus behaviors added on. Someone else makes a confession. The police supposedly have a lead in their case.

This episode is heavy with the manipulative & abusive antics of mom to Gyu Jin & Jae Suk. Knowing sis was alive almost made up for the overall unpleasant episode.
