It's not as bad as everyone says it is. While it is a bit slow at times and the FL isn't amazing, it does have good things about it. I enjoyed it for the most part. I'd say give it a try and you can always drop it if you hate it.

I loved her. It was a breath of fresh air to not have a bunch of jealous harem ladies at each other's throat the whole time. I loved how she and the empress respected each other because they knew and understood each other. She could have taught her children a bit better but in general I liked her. Why do you ask?

I really wish it did! There's so many scenes where you feel that "they need to kiss" vibe but are only left dry 😭 they barely touch. But they do have good chemistry, which makes those they need to kiss moments more frustrating...
