I'm not sure this drama should be titled "Reunion" but more "how to meet new people" or maybe another title "Reboot the Magic Scissors: how to make a 72 episodes drama in a 60 episode one..." This reboot let me also with a lot of questions : Why there is almost NO SCREEN TIME for the Iron Triangle reunion? Why Qi Ling appear on screen LESS than almost ALL the supporting characters ? Can you please stop letting Qi Ling in the background and give him some deserved screen time?

Sorry yes Panzi is another character who died in the last volume of Daomu Biji Novel. And yes as you predicted it.... no Iron Triangle alone more than 10 minutes because they go back together again with the other guys in Ep 17..... Seriously where is The REUNION of the Iron Triangle?!?!?!
And what the point to have a tearful and sad moment with the rest of the team reading Wu Xie letter after he left if this to reunite them again after only 2 hours xD
And is it just me or there is also a lot of extra editing and cutting works in these last episodes ? For example at the beginning of the Ep 16, ZQL and some guys of the team are fighting against some zombies. More zombies are coming and then ZQL told the other guys to go back to the cave without him (I suppose he is ready to fight them alone and I'm happy and ready to watch a nice fighting scene), Fatty and the other left, Sand Glasses tell ZQL to be careful BUT 1 second after CUT and next scene we can see everyone is back to the cave WITH ZQL?!?!? What happened ?!!! The zombies disappeared by magic ? Finally the other guys didn't let him fighting alone?!?! WTH!?!?!

I really hope so... because if we combine the two seasons ZQL is been missing or offscreen for more than 30 episodes already!!! I know from the books and the past series that ZQL is known for disappear and being mysterious but at the same time ZQL was behind the bronze door for 10 years and I was thinking/hoping this reboot will be about the "REUNION" of the famous iron triangle after these 10 years... So far I'm a little disappointing... Nice and cute screen time moments between Wu Xie and Fatty but for ZQL... so far we got very few moments just some eye contacts and that's pretty it (and again he was missing for more than 10 years!!!) But you're right ZQL starts to get more screen time now. And it was nice to see that in Ep 15 when the very dying sick Wu Xie was about to follow the dead Panzi and Ning on the other side, it's the image of ZQL who stopped him and "bring" him back to life... So as you said I hope we will get more Iron Triangle moments in the next episodes!!! (But I'm a little scared with the preview on iQiyi because it looks like they are going back again to the Warehouse 11 starting Ep 21 :0!!!!!)

Thank you!! So agree with you this drama is amazing. Of course, the drama is not perfect, I'm agree with what a lot of people said about editing problem, complex plot, too many characters, PPL, etc... But overall, it was really good!!! The love story is also so beautiful. I love the balance in that couple, how they respect each other's life and why they decided to live this way. And even if their end could seem a little bittersweet, it's wonderful and just beautiful (OMG that elderly couple hands moment, I will never forget!!!) It couldn't be more perfect ! =D
That's it, TKEM just ended... What to feel about it??? Overall, I loved this show.
Yes this trip was rough, yes we (and the writers) got lost sometimes in the way, but at the end what a journey!

Thanks to this show, my week-ends were more fun and I met awesome people here to discuss about this show about all the stuff we loved, all the stuff we hated, which theories will be true, (which PPL product should we buy xD).
For all of these wonderful moments I was happy this show existed.
And the end was so beautiful, I think I will probably remember for a long time that beautiful scene with:
Just the hands of a lovely elderly couple when we can hear the voice of LG saying: "Just for today, only today, And forever".

I think you are right... its too late now... and I just saw the episode 12. It was still good for me because I like the show but it still feels like we were watching a filler again... definitely not as tense as episode 11 (and again some editing problems for me at the first minutes of today episode... :( I don't understand why they decided to start this episode that way... )
I think Koreans are more into realistic dramas. As you can see, the high rating dramas like TWOTM, IC, CLOY, SKY…
I think you're right it really looks like they don't like fantasy drama anymore. I remembered Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo faced the same problem. This drama had really bad ratings too in Korea but was a huge success at the international! Actually I read somewhere that there is 2 versions of Scarlet Heart Ryeo drama. An international one and a Korean one modified after because they decided to reedited the show for the Korean viewers
TBH I have enjoyed this drama 10000 more than Goblin I dropped that one at episode 3 or 4 never finished....and…

I saw this movie with Gong Yoo and I loved it!!!! So if as you said its the same writer and director definitely I want to try your movie. And don't worry I like slow movies where nothing happens ahahah. For example I like "Nobody's Daughter Hae Won" movie (with the actress who play the Price Minister here in TKEM) and really in this movie nothing happens (and when I was looking for the exact title of the movie I just found out his rating in MDL... is 5.7 xD!!!)

Yeap you were right TWOTM was not the problem here... As I said in the previous comment I think that people had so much expactation on this show that as soon as trouble arrived (bad editing and chaotic production, first episodes to slow, complex plot, some controversies..) people was then completely against this show. And even if episodes are getting better and better now (Ep 11 was fantastic) it looks like it will be impossible for them to catch up... Which it make me really sad because all the actors are doing an amazing job here and the story is amazing.... But still it looks like this show is doing really well at the international (why this is so different in Korea?)
