You seriously comparing He yan with Li shuan like, seriously! Those are too different characters, totally. He yan grow up as a man so make up wasn’t her think and doing heavy make up on Zhou Ye will just not make sense, Li shuan, on the other side, is a general but she assumed her identity as a girl, why wouldn’t she wear make up. The funny thing to me though is that, although, He yan was supposed to have grown up as a man , acted more like a girl than Li shuan.

I applaud who ever made Li shuang dresses. She looks amazing, especially in the black one in episode 3

You forgwot that the goal of her life is to be a saltef fish, she is not interested in being powerful at all, so yes, she is weak because she doesn’t care.
I’m on episode 10, and I have never seen her shed a single tear so where is the crying you’re talking came from. Scolding the ML, isn’t normal for an employee to scold her tyranic boss secretly ? Always in trouble? From the beginning, she didn’t want to be involved in the ML’s story, but somehow, everyone and even the ML keep involving her. All the danger she have faced so far is bcs of the ML directly or indirectly, so he have to take full responsability and save her.

What make her, outsanding is because she isn’t acting the typical cute FL or the too upright FL who tend to lecture and try to change the ML. She may not agree with the ML but she never try to get in his way.

I’m finding myself falling for FL’s shifu. The way he still begged for his disciple even after knowing she is a demon spy.
And SJ giving the four vein feels more a dowry to me😂

You should continue to watch, they explain the barrier thing later, and I don’t think in this setting there is god, just immortal. And for the identity of the FL, that where the mystery lies

I’m quite happy Wang Ying Lu got the role, I’m not sure If I will be enjoying it so much otherwise. I don’t hate Zhao Lusi but I tend to realise nowadays, when a trafic actress or actor get a role with a non traffic one or non so big one which is the case of Chen Feiyu, It just get outhand with fan war and other things which ruins the drama for me. You can’t know for sure if the drama is good or overhyped and their popularity tend to cover the talents of the other. So I’m satisfied with the casts

I think that what made the drama outstanding. They explored a route that few could dare toand the drama was about the FL more than the ML so I didn’t mind

After watching fighting for love ( which is also a cross-dressing drama) with A’mai, I was craving for more and was expecting this will be the one to satisfy It and what can I say….different directors, different povs of how a woman disguised as a man should act.

So no redemption for him. I was quite rooting for him. That why I tend to stay away from love triangle. It’s stress me out

I need some spoilers about CGH. I know he turned villain but since there is a reset. How does it turn up for him

And for everyone that blaming the CGH, I think he is acting like how his character is supposed to be, and I believe he will eventually break through since that what the drama is about, Going against what is written. And seriously, I’m more rooting for his reconciliation with NH than for the love story. Bromance lover for life.

So, I’m here for some explanation bcz I’m very confused. In the modern era, the script describe more SYM as a cannon folder than a FL and NH as a ML but after entering the script, he become a villain. How? If someone can explain the original script to me

sorry to disagree but BL didn’t make Joseph Zheng, his is already an amazing actor before feud. And Seriously, BJS is the role Joseph Zheng didn’t shine like his other drama, maybe become it his first XianXian and he may be good but forgettable.

Here for the Cristy Guo. Been a fan of her for a long time. Happy to see her being FL for once

Exactly. Like what BJS has done from the veryu beginning. Hua ruyue sealed him and tried to kill him but he didn’t just turned his back on her. Since the beginning he wated to know why?

Finally catching up with the drama and even though I’m enjoying it. I have some question and confusion.
1. I don’t know if they changed the setting but in most Xianxian, when immortal goes on love tribulation, their memories and power are sealed and they live like human( eternal love, legend of fei,…) so why is Bai Jiusi and Ruyue still have their powers and memories. Can we even consider it a tribulation.

2. I really don’t understand the hate of the FL, like she adores humans so much more than her own kind but is sad when she gotta live like them. Why? And is it really The ML fault when the people she fights for, turned they back on her. She should be mad at mortals not ML.

Bai jiusi may be cold but i think he is right. Every mortal has his own destiny.
😂seriously, all this drama would be finished in like 5 eps if only Ruyue just answered BJS question "Why?" But it’s XianXian, so we deal with it.
But the drama is catching and the ML is very handsome.

All i’m here to say I did love Deng Wei as. Tushan Jing but, but damn, I can die for Xiao Shui like his shifu
