GOD ended, yang lin is back in the real world but I’m still stuck in dafeng. So far this is the first non-toxic drama i’ve seen in Cdrama land and what a good way to start 2025. I was afraid there will be jealousy, betrayal, death bit none of this happened. I loved every single character of it and i felt attached to them. No a single dull moment. Some will complain about the comedy but seriously that what i loved the most bcs i know after a hard day in real life, i will go back in Dafeng, laugh like a crazy person.
Seriously one of the best drama for me

So since GOD is finished i’m thi about starting about this one and i scroll down to know how good it is and i have a question. Is every character in this drama keeps dying one by one. Like not a single HE for side characters bcs seriously 2024 traumatized me enough with SE and sad plot and for me if it only the main couple that have HE it’s still a SE( like in eternal love, only FL&ML got their HE, everybody else was depressed).
So tell me please

The advice i can give is never drop a drama based on comments on MDL. You may miss a gem. Watch it and have your own opinion

ZWY is indeed the ML but not the romantic interest of the FL. And that would be weird since they are cousins. Each of them have their own story to live.

I don’t think we have to be wary of any of Xu family’s member. To the beginning till now they have show only loyalty and care for Xu Qi’an.
Even the aunty that I thought will be a villain is a good person. And I really hope they will all survive at the end

So i don’t know if it’s only me but Dylan Wang in this drama looks like Wallace Huo in his youth especially in the drama Condor heroes.
So Anyway, So far I’m liking this drama. Dylan Wang nailed his character so do all the support characters especially the Xu family. The most insane family I’ve ever seen

I think you misunderstood something here. WX didn’t want to punish Fei but Qing geng bcz she spread the plague. Fei sacrificed himself to save Qing geng.

executed him as an act of justice. Hou must been a villain but he wasn't born that way but become that way bcs of Jing's mother. How could Jing just killed him when he know that and all of the injustice that he went through for many years and let not forget that before the hatred, there was love. Hou really loved his brother. To kill him will be difficult not only for Jing but for a lot of people.
hurting others, FFY choose this path for herself even before Jing was tortured so don't put what happened to her on Jing. It was the consequence of her action.
XY also. In the very beginning she knew the true face of FFY but did not tell Jing nd she said it so. She let Jing go in the wrong way and didn't warn him resulting to FFY traping Jing

Jing's kindness is not the issue

being smart doesn't make a god. and even he could not have think that his brother would go as far as treathening his own child to kill him or that CX will collide with Hou to eliminate him.

Hou stealed almost all his power and made it impossible for him to recover it. How in the world did you want him to win against him and the king of the entire dahuang. Okay we are in a fantasy world but there is to be a limit to miracle. Jing did his best, he can rest in peace for the time being

jing even if you have to crawl, you have to come back and marry me. I don't know if i have to cry or be happy for tushan Jing. And CX, screw you!!!!

the first meeting of Jing and XL in qingshui town, XY was heavyly wounded and every time XY came from her meeting with XL she came crippled or with some marks on her, so we can totally understand why Jing is always behind when they are meeting. he is worried about her security nothing else

I think before she go, she and Jing divorced before( Have to reread the novel to be sure).
Jing is smart, he will never married XY without divorce first. And in the novel, I remember Jing let FFY live to raise her son.

I think you missed something. Jing is considered a widow no bcs his wife FFY sacrifices herself for the tushan Jing spirit ( in reality they are already divorced and she is living secluded) so she didn’t change her mind at all

If she was not ready to commit to their relationship what was she doing in red waiting for him to take her away but the guy never come, he just keep staring at her

Abandoned. If he ever decide to let it go he will not be abandoning them he will be freeing himself. He has done more than enough for this army who don’t even like him( in the first eps some were even badmouthing him).

One of the most reason people hate Jing is bcs he has been too loyal to his family and that made him incapable to fulfill his promise so i am gonna say it too

Xiang liu is too loyal to his army and that make him incapable to live his own life

My favorite line now: my heart is too small to contain the world. It only has XY

after watching the first 5Eps all i can say i do not feel sorry for XL anymore. Like He had so many chance to confess and high chance to being accepted but he didn’t.

Everyone was telling him to let go and free himself from his foster father( and I feel the same too, he has done more than enough to repay him) but he still didn’t let it go.

It’s not that XY didn’t give him a chance( she hinted him so many time) it’s just Him who didn’t cease them and keep pushing Her away

Was finally able to catch up the S2 and the summary of our MLs competition to win the Fl Xiaoyao
