i don't get it either. I understand him being attached to his mom or even his dad and sis because they seem to care about him but not his brothers. His brothers are about face and responsibility even when this whole sword king farce came to be. Yiren didn't believe in him at all, there's no love and respect there. He did offered to cut off his arm to save quishui but it feels like half the reason is about appearances and responsibility so he can convince these folks to come to their aid.

yes, that one group did have more survivors. I was thinking the whole crew should have broke out then instead of waiting with little water. I mean it seems like he sent a lot of folks to stop them (and the token) from escaping and I doubt he had many folks left to keep the rest surrounded. either way, no way Liu suifeng was going to leave them alone and it was already told to his brothers that he has a grudge against their family
I can't believe that it's that muppet Yiren had the gall to say that i have no brother. I was waiting most of…
I just finished the same episode and it's got my blood boiling. Yiren is guilty of way bigger misjudgement. He didn't trust quishui about the evil guys at all and now he's accusing him of poor judgement?! The only reason Yiren gets away with it is because his mistake didn't result in major consequences and that's all because qiushui almost died to prove that fake dude is actually evil. He would be just as guilty of causing his family's death if qiushui hadn't survive. And if he had believe qiushui, they wouldn't have wasted time and could have saved their parents
is this a micro version of the short/mini drama "money is coming"? because the first 5 minutes is just like the first episode of money is coming. The FL even has the same last name Ning and addresses her dad the general as "old man" and the 2nd FL also has the same last name Lin even though the first name is different.
baidu says it's a short drama promoting the art of the cultural dance "dunhuang". Google translate: "The play tells the story of dance academy student Chen Xi, who exchanges souls with Tang Dynasty dancer Zhao Muyun because of the Mogao Grottoes murals. In the process of protecting the Mogao Grottoes drawings, the two gradually realize the value of dance art and cultural heritage. ultimately achieving self-growth and cultural inheritance across time and space"
wow ep 6 wasn't a twist, they just changed genres on you. The feel is totally different from the lead up. It's…
also, the way episode 6 was done disregarded what happened with the English teacher who moved to Canada. He wasn't in love nor obsessed with the glasses. He left them behind just fine when he quit school. I guess he has got good EQ. He was able to work through his emotions about his fiancee sleeping with his friend.
wow ep 6 wasn't a twist, they just changed genres on you. The feel is totally different from the lead up. It's like going to math class for a whole semester and then you get a physics final instead; then the teacher says hey there's numbers involved. I don't know if this was how the webtoon went or the writers just got lazy. I recommend skipping the middle of ep 6 because it's just cringey and over the top. I don't know if the writers expect us to buy it but the prep wasn't there and it wasn't enjoyable. You should just watch the first 15 min and the last 8 min and make up the rest with your imagination which has got to be better than what was given.

lol you know it must be the government censorship. just like the outcry they raised for Mr.Queen over some chinese product sponsorship or some other. I mean the series was based off a Chinese webnovel so what's wrong with some Chinese product placement.
This show is like watching a train wreck and she's the train wreck. I've decided to drop it after watching episode 4. I might come back to watch the finale but she's so stupid. She almost ended her friendship with her only real friend and the only person who's got her back because her friend was telling her to be careful and not derail her life for a "mere host". I mean even her mom doesn't have her back but her friend does. She's not afraid of it getting messy and told her about her fiancee's questionable action. Then the female lead goes to the host club after getting ignored (not the first time she's been disrepected by the host) and spends a bunch of money even after his fellow busted him about his fishing technique.
Started strong and ended weak. I still finished it but there were just a lot of plot holes where things don't…
There were a lot of the arguments for and against guns just like in the U.S. so the writers must follow some of the news right? But the finale is so unrealistic it was really a letdown. All those pro guns and anti gun people at the rally were given sudden access to guns. The police knew about this rally yet they only have a few beat cops on site even though they were anticipating trouble. Backup did come a few minutes later but that means they obviously weren't on site. Why didn't the cops copy the US? Pepper spray and tear gas would have been all over that rally and nobody would be in any condition to be grabbing guns and least of all actually having to assemble them (these guns were still in shipping boxes). The show ended on the note that it was a horrendous tragedy with 70 fatalities and Korea seeing the light and giving up guns.
Started strong and ended weak. I still finished it but there were just a lot of plot holes where things don't seem realistic (not that I need my dramas 100% realistic but it got less and less realistic). I mean look at the final episode - spoiler below
Are you talking about the character or the actor? Fu Jiu Yun may seem like a bad or disgusting character to you,…
sorry late reply. the character of course lol that's why i said the show tried to display him as mysterious but it came off slimy instead. FL is quite obviously uninterested but he kept making overtures. I'm sure he'll seem more upright if they adapt the novel where he's the main character
this is based on a typical male oriented novel. he has a harem. see Parray Zubeyr's post below about his relationship chart. Since it's adapted to the screen, they usually don't get as extreme but I can already see 4 females that are attached to him besides his main love interest.
fu jiu yun who appears in ep 24 is more creepy and slimy than mysterious. hard to imagine he's the lead in one of the other novels this show is based on
At ep 29:Although I've watched many shows, I have only seen a few of this genre. So I might have missed a few…
yeah, she's very naive and i'm at episode 24 where she met some rando because she thought it was yuanzhong asking her out (i'm like no girl, does he look like he would do something romantic). but replying to point 1 you raised, she actually knew him as a child when he was a good boy. Also the whole time she was snooping around on the airship, rumors were about what a good samaritan he is and she only saw him acting nice (to make up for the bad karma after trying to kill her).
yeah, i made it past the ridiculously done first episode but I might drop it after ep 3 due to inconsistency.…
there's so many other shows to watch and no show is perfect for everyone so treat yourself well and move on. Also, I read a couple of spoilers and don't think i'm up for all the deaths that will be taking place.
Am I the only one who got board while watching this. The plot is not just clicking for me. The dialogs was also…
yeah, i made it past the ridiculously done first episode but I might drop it after ep 3 due to inconsistency. In ep 2 they said the hundred eye demon can re-cultivate after giving up his demon core and in ep 3 they said the divine bird demon is dead since her demon core was taken to forge the demon sword.
i didn't read the webtoon but how important is the character? if jihye is a minor character, then 5 minutes in…
no way! she was one bad ass character and there's only a few other supporting characters who had more presence in the novel. I dare say she outshines the only potential love interest of kim dokja (and no, jihye is a high schooler with no romantic pairing in the novel). That's why the above article said her character couldn't be left out of the film.
Just finished this and it was a slog to get through. I really only stuck with it because of LL - love him!It starts…
I agree with most of it except for General Chu. He was a hypocrite even before the FL took over the body and got him all confused. There was one scene when they were children where he said something that was totally bullying behavior. And when he abandon his "friend" and even tried to stomp him while he was down yet expected him to come save his ass shortly before the timeline started. During an early episode, Nan Heng disguised as Li Shiliu had recounted to Song Yimeng about how Chu Guihong never came as back up when he was expected during a battle that took place 4 years ago and another one that took place 3 years ago. He had no right to expect backup and then feel all gut hurt and betrayed.
