The first 75 % was fine but then they started speeding up the plot and scene changes didn't make sense because…
Her boyfriend got injured saving her but she still went into a coma which is where she experiences everything in the drama. After two months, the prince dies saving her and she woke up from her coma. Her boyfriend tells her she's been in a coma for 2 months and wanted to show her that he was finally a published author. He wasn't lying about working on his career before he proposes to her. Turns out he used their names for the main characters and the events in the book is just like her dream. So here you may start thinking "oh maybe this kind of ending isn't so bad". Just as her boyfriend proposes, some guy calls her name and we see a silhouette who may be the prince. THE END. Wow what a messed up ending. She should have either stayed in the book with Prince Mu Zhixi or go back to modern day Mu Zhixi in her reality. How would a fictional character even end up in her world?

The first 75 % was fine but then they started speeding up the plot and scene changes didn't make sense because there's nothing connecting them in the last quarter of the drama. Also, they screwed up the ending. It's like the director was like we'll give you both men so the audience should be happy but it was just crappy. See spoiler.

Female lead should change her name like porn actress. Current name sucks
Weird how she's posted as Snow Kong even though her Chinese name literally means snow because her English name is Sherry. She probably picked Sherry because it sounds similar to her name Kong Xue'er

Title Blossom Spoiler
Grandma Cui is the paternal grandmother of Zhao.
Grandma is her dad's mom which is why she was able to take Dou Zhao from her father. Since divorce was very hard to obtain back then and always required the man's approval either as a discarded wife or an amicable divorce, grandma just decided to live separate from grandpa kinda like in a legal separation. If I remember correctly, grandpa was a randy goat who forced himself on grandma's maid with his excuse being how he has to proliferate the family line. The uncle derided grandma's actions as taught by his dad and Dou Zhao's father just followed his older brother's lead. This is part of why her uncle later insist on the stepmom marrying in because she was pregnant.

It would be so cool if they actually adapted this. Cross my fingers no love triangle. I finished the novel with google translate after the first translator dropped it.

Title Pull Strings
While Jin Chan traps Changshou he figures out that Fate is leading him to the disaster and tells fate he knows…
Time wasn't frozen. Jin Chen was just able to expand time in a bubble. So only Changshou and he were in this bubble. Less than one second passes in reality but he made it feel like 3,600 years (he can make it last up to 10,000 years) for the two of them by using up all his accumulated power. That's why they couldn't interact with anything outside this bubble. Yunxiao was able to sense it since they have a spiritual link.

Title Pull Strings Spoiler
Middle of the road ending. Not a happy ideal ending and not a tragic ending where the leads died or were separated…
Changshou ended up sacrificing his body and his freedom to bring peace. Yunxiao decided to rewind time to save him and do something similar herself. So now her body is imprisoned and she's probably dozing off. She left him with a lock of her hair infused with part of her soul prior to locking herself up. So now Changshou just have to clone her a body from the hair.

As for others, a couple important side characters died but the main cast survived.

Title Pull Strings
I am thinking of starting this. Is this good? Does it hv a happy ending?
Middle of the road ending. Not a happy ideal ending and not a tragic ending where the leads died or were separated forever. A little like an open ending but i wouldn't consider it leaving you hanging. If you want to know, i'll write it below as a spoiler.

So the main lead dies? Well. Seems I give this a miss 😱. Best you add a spoiler alert !
Hang on. That makes it sound like she died. Bad things happen but it does not have a tragic ending!

What do you mean? There's only 3 princes so far. Changsha who died early should be the current emperor's cousin…
Ah, his fiefdom (Qizhou or whatever it's called) is in the north and one of the locations taken over by the neighboring country. He and his sister were on the run along with everyone else which is why they were like starving beggars. They finally made it to land being held by the northern army, Beifu army. The whole show is about the male lead wanting a northern expedition to retake their ancestral lands which has been eroded by war over the past 3 decades

Title The Road to Splendor Spoiler
She was in grief state earlier. And desperately needed to shift the blame. Poor lady...
At least her older son passed the exam to be a scholar so he won't have to go to war

Title Key to the Phoenix Heart Spoiler
i don’t understand this drama! i am on epi 14 but i am confused! why there are so many prince ?
What do you mean? There's only 3 princes so far. Changsha who died early should be the current emperor's cousin via a royal uncle since he calls the dowager empress aunt. I can't remember if they said Li Mao is the son of the previous emperor or not but i assume he is a cousin since he and his sister fled from their fief as children and princes (sons of the emperor aren't usually sent to their fiefdom until they come of age) and he's never called the dowager mother. Prince Wenxi is the son of the emperor and empress who died in the war 25 years ago before the nobles elected the current emperor's father to the throne so i guess another cousin of the current emperor.

Title The Road to Splendor Spoiler
everyone else has spoken plenty about the ending. I just want to mention that I was so relieve when Mo Yi's wife was so understanding. The writers could have so easily written it the other way which would just put more bad taste in your mouth after trudging through the late 20s and early 30s episodes (which were not the most enjoyable).

Title The Road to Splendor Spoiler
1. Madam Yu's 'condition' got a chuckle out of me. It felt so out of character for some reason? Like I didn't…
you summed it up nicely. Madam Yu's condition was unexpected but it also makes sense. I feel like she put herself into a self induced delusion so she can keep her dignity and pretend nothing happened.

I just finished ep 34. We never actually saw Shen Congsi and yet I felt so bad he died after getting the job.
it's because we got to know the person through his essays and his letters. I had to save and then binge watch the last five or six episodes because it would be awful to pause at this point when bad things are happening left and right as everything is heading into the climax

Is this good? I come here after watching love on the turquoise land (which is my first drama with this kind of…
Just finished ep 29. Decided to watch it after finishing the 7 relics of ill fortune since it's a similar genre and turns out they're all based on novels by the same author. The ending was so so, didn't really seem resolved, so I needed something along the same line but with a closed ending.

I like the first twenty episodes of "Parallel World" but the last few have been a lot of frustration with people falling for the lies of this user. Some of it is pretty clever but the problem is that some of the lies have huge holes in it. Why are they acting so stupid and going along with it? Anyway, I got 9 more episodes to go but seems like it'll drag for a few more episodes. And according to a review above, it has a flat ending. So knowing i was unsatisfied with the other show's ending, this one is probably similar.

Now obviously plenty of people like it. I do like the leads and they have good chemistry. So i guess it depends on what your criteria of a good drama is.

Title The Eternal Fragrance Spoiler
Yeah, drop it. Her character did not improve. Whenever it comes to the male lead she's cold hearted and ready…
P.s. if that doesn't discourage you from watching, then yes they do end up together at the end. So at least i didn’t slog through it to be saddled with a tragic ending.

Well, I came back here because I was planning to start watching TEF again. I had put it on hold after watching…
Yeah, drop it. Her character did not improve. Whenever it comes to the male lead she's cold hearted and ready to believe the worst of him but acts like a normal naive girl with everyone else. And she is weak power-wise. Even when she got a power up, she still ended up on the chopping board for everyone else to suck her power. The drama basically has her character down as damsel in distress.
