interpretation of a media (book, music, cinema) is up to the individual, but I do agree that I am always surprised when I go to the comments and see such contrasting views, even from the same person within the same comment.

I think I understand what you mean about the rude thing now lol, and I think it's something a lot of BL fans have gotten used to is expecting the couples to just jump straight into the rude thing, especially when there are other series by GMMTV that do exactly that and those got a lot of positive response, so when GMMTV does move back to slower series like these it's a bit jarring. I do think it's a shame that people are struggling to enjoy something that takes a longer time to warm up. seeking instant gratification or reward doesn't always mix well with slow burn stories. I'm writing a story and I just know everyone here would hate it because it is 25 chapters in and the main couple have only just gone on a date lol 😅 it isn't for everyone, but the way some people go about saying that it isn't their cup of tea is questionable

I didn't mean you specifically but as a general thing when it comes to series and it's a complaintni see a lot from other people, sorry if I came across wrong. idk, so far I don't feel like they've had equal screen time at all. here they are listed as main couples but QToey and Phumpeem seem to me like the pair two, meanwhile Chainpun and TanFang are kind of more side couple but play main character roles in the entire show.

I'm pretty sure this is more of a slice of life show than anything else really, and honestly, as someone deep in a crush where it's very back and forth, I'm feeling for these characters who just aren't getting into relationships lmao. appreciating the "got feelings but refuses to act on it" representation 😂

if I have one qualm with this show, it is Q's character mixed with Toey's. Q is a much more interesting character when he is having fun and being playful, and I understand he is introverted, but when they are in their group, Q seems to just become bland as hell, but then one on one with people he is genuinely interesting and more of a character to remember than that one grumpy art boy. The way he is more playful with Toey when they are by themselves is genuinely just a better character archetype for me to get behind. Even during the paint/water fight scene, when he gets to break out of his character archetype that fits him as the edgy art student, he is genuinely more interesting of a character to me.

similarly, I feel like Toey plays the character role of being childish very well when he is in the group, but when it comes to being 1-1 with Q, he seems to drop that behavior and they become very alike, but in completely different directions. Where Toey goes from loud and babyish to still playful but with a slightly less forced tone, Q turns from edgy and introverted to quite playful and honestly cute.

I get it, it's "introverted edgy boy x cutesy angel boy" but come on, just give him a bit more life outside of those one off scenes, you can be introverted and still have a personality

not a huge issue as I find the juxtaposition to how they act within a group vs alone to be interesting, but I do feel having that duality does take away from the characteristics they have a majority of the time

The issue with that is when they do fast pace, people STILL complain because it's "unrealistic" and "bland" because there's no space for proper drama or build up.

Something being shorter doesn't make it well written, it isn't a trade off and often times if a story is too short then it's also very sloppy and doesn't have a well rounded out storyline.

There isn't a perfect length for any series, and you'll only know when a series ends if it was better suited for 12, 16, 8, 10 episodes, whatever it may be. For some series, 12 episodes is too much, meanwhile for others 12 is too little. Gmmtv makes MOST series messy at the end regardless of length. I wish people would stop using the length of this series as an excuse to just spew out absolute nonsense honestly. The length doesn't actually affect anything, but people saw the number 16 and started freaking out because "oh no! It's a few episodes longer than the other series that GMMTV does despite the fact most of us complain about GMMTV series being too short in the first place!"

It's like complaining about food that you put on your own plate.

imma say it because I don't feel like anyone else will:

if QToey and Phumpeem were together, you'd all be complaining.
but because they aren't together yet, you're still complaining.

do y'all want them to be together fast or not? because all I'm seeing are VERY contrasting views within episodes. people complained about how the series was too long for four couples, but now people are upset that the couples are taking their time together? is it really impossible to please y'all, like, come on. this episode has fluff, it had healing, it was the comfort after hurt, and it's probably gonna lead into some major development for all couples in the future. I really cannot figure out what this comment section wants

I get the feeling this was more of a set up episode for future episodes than filler. a set up episode that tells us about the camp, and also gives us a bit of fluffy friendship. rather than a filler, it's a bridge to the next arc of this story. we have an overall uni arc, then there was the amusement park arc, and now there will be a camp arc, and as a set up episode I think this does it's job quite well.

You have to remember that Peem and Phum didn't start off as friends, and their entire relationship is stemming from benefit for Phum, he is bound to take more time to question his own feelings in comparison to Phum who seemed to fall pretty easily for Peem.

QToey is complicated and honestly I don't need them to be together any time soon, I'd be fine if they took a few more episodes to actually sort themselves out and get comfortable again before dating. they're already moving pretty fast since it was only last episode that Toey was crying and Q was angry- like, give them some time. again, their argument is a set up

yeah, it is just that I've noticed that sometimes the silly characters get cjaracterised as stupid or slow, so it's refreshing for Pun to have such a good duality and control of his own behavior when switching between his friend group and something more formal and professional 😄 fr, I'm just glad not all of them are engineers for once 😂

I can't lie, I am loving the diversity of Pun. I feel like so far all he has shown of himself is that he's silly and goofy, but this camp thing seems to have brought out a more mature side of him, it's really nice to see that a goofy character isn't portrayed as stupid, just silly.

we all know where this kluen plot is gonna go lmao... but I am excited for a jealous Pond 🤭 also they became friends very fast-

it isn't like they are drinking out of someone's personal glass cups, it's literally in take out cups, just take the damn cups with them it's not that hard 😭 "hey bro, we're gonna get these drinks, drink none of it, and leave the bill with you despite tje fact we arent even gonna take our drinks" LIKE BE SO FR. justice for Matt 😔💪

it's honestly so annoying that in every scene they have full drinks the drinks get left behind. like, I know it's such a small thing, but they could even take their drinks with them but don't. like. bruh. 🤡
