I thought the entire shower scene was about some vampire story line, but no, I haven't forgotten it, however his actions after that scene have been incredibly different and much more mature. does that make the shower scene okay? no. however it does give us a parallel between their behavior. Jihan has presented himself with much more self control, meanwhile Jaejun has already been confronted about this by multiple people and still continued his actions.

I also wish for his redemption, but both of their situations honestly just make Jaejun look even worse imo

I truly cannot wrap my head around the fact some of y'all are acting like this is a perfectly normal thing with absolutely nothing wrong about it. nobody is hating on the actor, the actor is separate, however hating the character and the way he has acted? completely valid

we aren't taking it personally (some may, however I don't believe that is our business), we are taking it like any sane person would: calling out bad behavior when we see it

just wanted to make sure we weren't gonna excuse Jihan just because he is his boyfriend lol 😅 yeah, I think the lack of continuity in this series makes it kinda tough to follow along with what exactly is happening honestly, some of the dialogue is super odd too as it seems to reference stuff we as viewers haven't seen. definitely gonna keep watching, way too curious about how they could possibly save this and also for how long it will go on for

honestly, I feel like a cheating plot really doesn't add much, if anything, to the romance genre. like, it really doesn't do much story wise other than adding drama and making a character unlikeable, which is exactly what this drama has done. the only thing I have seen that I felt handled cheating on even a reasonable manner (not a good manner but I didn't find it to be as disgusting) was the Taiwanese movie 'Dear Ex'. and that was mostly because the cheating wasn't actively happening and it wasn't painted out as if the guy was innocent for it. I really suggest watching it because it's such an interesting movie

All countries are capable of putting out really horrible series and movies, but China honestly takes be cake a lot of the time whether it is gay or straight, like, meteor garden for example is one of my favourite series, but Jesus the actions of the characters is absolutely ridiculous

sorry but I genuinely haven't seen many korean BLs specifically that do cheating? I know a few kdramas that focus on social class do it but even then it's always viewed as a negative thing and is something that bad characters dk (the glory, penthouse, any kdrama about revenge). I'm not denying it happens but out of all countries, I feel like Korea honestly isn't the worst for it (which obviously doesn't make it right, but still, to complain about any country and you choose Korea? it feels odd considering there genuinely isn't. if anything I've seen way more cheating in Taiwanese or Chinese BL mostly because of the way their culture views homosexuality and how it "ruins perfectly good straight relationships")

wouldnt it have been assault regardless of whether it was Jihan or FD? if the judgement is that Jaejun wasn't in a position to be able to consent, that doesn't change regardless of whether it's FD or Jihan

idk, to me he just looks like he is less enthusiastic in letting everyone know he is in a relationship, and his love style is different to Tan. like, Tan is very loud already but when it comes to love and relationships (even with his friends) he is very fluffy and soft, whereas Fang seems to be more introverted about his feelings and focused on his work.

it's always possible, we don't know where things will go from here, but just from what we have seen I don't get the vibes that he is forced or unhappy, just less expressive

oh damn wait that's a good point. "this isn't working" could've meant two things:

1) his plan to split them up isn't working because Jihan still loved Jaejun (which he shouldn't)

or

2) he had a secret, messed up plan with FD to somehow and in some way make Jaejun realize he loves Jihan to in some way strengthen their bond through being like "out of all the men you could have and you'd still choose Jihan", but it backfired and FD fell for Jaejun instead.
