Of course only some of them panned out, as most were 'the obstacle to be overcome' by the main love interest, but regardless they were planned as if it was nothing out of the ordinary.

really? I was under the impression that they were 'birth sisters' as in they gave birth on the same day... It seems I was wrong. I do remember seeing lots of cousin marriages in other historical dramas so I guess I shouldn't be surprised...

They're not related - their mothers were 'birth sisters' which just means they were two women who gave birth on the same day.

The last episode was sooo boring. How is that even possible with the mess of a plotline this show had. Also wow was that a boring reunion. No running into eachothers hugs? And no kiss? Come on even if he has 'bad breath' at least Yai could allow a cheek kiss...

I knew this was going to be sad, but wow did watching it hurt so much more than I thought it would... And the real pain is only starting out. I'm not sure how I'll get through these last few episodes.

I can’t believe there was ANOTHER wipe down scene!!! And the drama with the sister was so unnecessary, Ai even told him he had a sister before and also Nai overreacted so badly the hell!! And then they just made up like nothing?!? My god it wasn’t a very good drama before but this ep was even worse then previous ones.

I mean you could still have evil exes, because no one wants that in a relationship, but the love triangles where both are good options and especially if they have chemistry, that would be awesome! And let's be real there is so many love triangles where the two options for main lead have more chemistry between themselves than with main lead (especially in straight dramas to be honest).

Thanks for mentioning '3 will be free', I haven't heard of it before. I watched a really nice throuple short film (like 18 mins short) 'Between Complete and Incomplete'. I wish there was more media that explored poly relationships; you can have such interesting dynamics as soon as you add one more person. Even a bunch of existing love triangles could really work as throuples if someone dared to try it out.

Yeah I remember there was much discussion on Bad Buddy page if they were switch (in my opinion yes), but what I really liked there, was that they never made it clear either way, because in the end that really shouldn't be that important for following someone's love story.

Oh I completely agree, especially since it renders (almost) all BL dynamics to a single one. We don't get as many fun different couplings of interesting personalities (even stereotypical couple personalities combinations) just the same weak small stupid uke and big smart protective seme. Maybe the showrunners think that if they do something else, the viewers couldn't tell who's top and who's bottom, and we all know that would be a tragedy! 🙄

At least in this show even tho there are still some seme-uke markers their personalities aren't like the typical seme-uke.

Or if they go for a porn story and start it this way they should at least have commited to it. This way people who don't like that kind of stuff wouldn't even start watching, while people who do wouldn't be dissapointed when the story completely changes from ep. 2 onwards.

It took me until LAST WEEK to realise that these charecters were the same as Mike and Toptap's characters, even tho I knew from the start that this was a spin off of TonChon. I watched it so long ago that I forgot the names of characters and as far as I remembered their behaviour it didn't occur to me these could be the same people.

Nooo so it was originally a throuple!?! Oh I just thought a bunch of us had the same thought upon seeing the premise, but some people might have been dissapointed because they knew it was supposed to be poly! Well that makes it even sadder for me that they didn't choose this route.

It bothered me too that Yai let the kiss go on for so long! It makes no sense, except if maybe he was so stunned he forgot to react at first.

And yes they keep adding random stuff and backstories to their love story that don't make sense with what we've seen until now. Even the weird shift in their personalities from first ep. to the rest was pretty unbelievable. I mean is emotional, soft, easily hurt Yai really the same guy that attempted to drug and rape someone??? Don't get me wrong I much prefer this version of him lol, but it really feels like the first ep. was just a fever dream with how little it affected the rest of the story. It only served as their initial meeting, what could have essentialy been a normal hook up (or a drunken hook up if you want) and the story could have progressed in exactly the same way. It feels like the writers are making it up as they go and they simply forget what they wrote in previous episodes.

Also I enjoy how almost everyone in the comments is scandalized by the months remark XD

Well you can't be completely sure about the no push/slap part yet, since we didn't see the end of the kiss yet... Granted based on next week's preview they seem to have made up, so I don't think Yai will slap him, but a push is still possible.

The most lasting impression I have after watching these last two episodes is that we got some really nice kissing there at the end - that feels like what real people kissing should look like. But otherwise a cute drama :)
