This series makes me feel like when you are getting a massage and it's right on the line between pleasurable and tickling. It makes me cringe all the time and yet also makes me giggle and feel like it's endearing? I wonder where they are going with the plot now that Nhai finally admitted to liking Ai. Maybe they are going to do some of their friends' love stories? Or maybe introduction to parents type of plotlines? I just hope they do something because if this is just going to be the same Ai caring for Nhai and them being in a secret relationship untill the end of series it's going to get boring. Maybe at least the friends are going to find out soon since they got suspicious this episode.

The actor for Tanaka seems to have a BL coming out soon, I wonder if he'll make for a more interesting lead role? Although so much is dependant on directing and writing so we'll see.

So true! The last episode was by far the best because there was some nice back and forth action with both besties. Takara and amagi with their wooden personalities and their constantly rehashing problems get stale real quick. They should have introduced both BFFs into the mix way earlier and maybe even added some other interesting charachters down the line to keep things more interesting and to give the mains a chance to show something different when interacting with other people and not just eachother.
For me personally, it is good… Like Sooooo good. The acting, plot, story, scenery etc! It’s closer to the…
While this deals with a similar theme as Lovely writer, for me the major difference is in the pacing - Lovely writer had some draged out moments in my opinion, especially in the later parts of the story, while this is very fast paced - sometimes it's almost hard to follow exactly what happened or how the characters feelings changed. I assume this is because there is 4 seperate stories in this, so each one only has 5 episodes to be (mostly) completed.
But I would also recommend this! It's very dramatic and can get dark at times but that is what makes it interesting :)
I'm not gonna write about the plot, since there's little to no plot in this drama. But I have one genuine question…
Are you asking this because of the constant discussion of his age in the comments or for a different reason?
Because I think it's just that, since there's already a lage age gap, people want it the smallest possible I guess, so it feels important to know how old exactly he is. But I agree that at Minato's age 27 or 30 doesn't make much of a difference, while 3 years for Shin would be much more impactful (18 or 21 for example).

Hmm. Well, finally, the plot moved forward. I think maybe the problem for me is the actor playing Sakuma gives…
I have to really agree about your comment on pacing. Every individual episode feels fine, but at the end I ask myself if we have made any progress and the ansawer is almost always no. I think this would be really annoying to binge watch (which is how I consume most media to be honest) but it's fine to watch on a weekly basis.
But I can already tell how frustrated I'll be when they will either rush the happy ending next week with 0 development leading up to it, or they will leave it extremly open ended, just because they couldn't be bothered to have the charachters progress even a little bit in these past episodes.
Also I don't get why would Akira have a need to confront the sensei tho? Like does he just want to relieve what…
I think the point was that if he finally officially confessed and got officially rejected he could get over Sakuma-sensei. But he was clearly afraid of getting hurt, which is why he couldn't get himself to do it for so long. And even if it was so long ago he might still have some small remanants of feelings for Sakuma-sensei or he sort of grieved for his teenaged self I don't know.
also why do people keep saying that Minato is 30? It was never confirmed but I am pretty sure he is either 27…
It's different in japan, at 30 you're considered to be middle aged already. So it isn't people trying to make him seem older than he is, it's just a difference in culture.
Mixed feelings about this. I do like the direction the plot is taking (I'm always down for some social-commentary,…
Thanks for explaining all this! I didn't know all the details about the political situation in Thailand so it's helpful for my interpretation of the show going forward :D
It did feel a bit comical the way it was presented, especially the opening shots with student prefects reciting their mission. Maybe it'll be only like that in the first episode, to get the message across, and it will tone down a bit in the following episodes? We'll see.
The weirdest thing is that right from the start I was getting vibes that they want to make this pairing happen,…
yes you're right. And it does give the vibes of him wanting to protect SY, not really giving any thought to how this affects WYW. He only spoke up when att. Jang threatened SY to take her off the case. In general I think that their romance hinges on him being slightly protective of SY here and there and her noticing it and for some reason liking it so much it negates all the bad things she knows about him.
Can someone please help me decide whether to watch this (and when)? I've had this on my plan to watch because the premise is really interesting, so how is everyone feeling about the execution? Is it good? Should I wait for Gagaoolala to drop the version with translated texts or can it be followed without knowing them (or with what limited fan translations we have)?
Some cases were really good and some case were just meh...
Ah I see! Well people are just interested in different stuff and in last weeks this drama got a lot of attention (and promotion on various social media) as one with great romance (because that is when the romance storyline really got going), so I'm guessing there's recently also a lot of new watchers that started this specifically for the romance after seing it be promoted for that.
ngl, i watched the SY/MW scene where she asks him "to be a fool for his colleague instead of political and scheming…
The weirdest thing is that right from the start I was getting vibes that they want to make this pairing happen, but then as SY became more good coded and MW did all that terrible petty shit I was like - there's no way they are still going in this direction, I must have been imagining it. But then at the peak of MW hatred they try to put him together with someone described as spring sunshine?!? They could have just made him less evil and people wouldn't be as against it.
At this point, many are not interested in cases but writers giving majority of the screen time to them. Very less…
I think the intention is to show various problems that WYW has to face in her daily life and her romantic life is only a part of this. Her career is another part and this episode highlighted how her working with someone not as patient and understanding as att. Jung is might look like. It also focused on what att. Jung said about her talking more about the issue with her coworkers - in the end it was them who took her side and succesfully won the case. It showed her that she sometimes has to lean on other people even in her job where she is otherwise the genius that solves all the problems. My point is that the show is still about the same thing it always has been about - the life and struggles of Woo Young Woo.
Some cases were really good and some case were just meh...
You could hardly watch this show by fast forwarding the cases since a lot of WYW (and other characters) development happens while they are discussing cases, or in court. Even the romance storyline is sometimes furthered by the cases (from general lovey dovey/concerened glances, to Jun Hoo helping Young Woo with cases and they bond, and that one episode where the whole case was about how other people see relationships with disabled people) so I really doubt anyone that actually likes this drama can watch it with fast forwarding. Sometimes that is why it is not necessary to discuss cases specifically, because just discussing character development is almost the same if the case is heavily tied into that.
