Yeah I think they both hugely overreacted. It's reasonable to be a bit upset if someone is this angry with you over nothing though.

I think they are trying to imply that Lian doesn't love the crafted version of Kuea (but his real self) and wants him to show him this real self. At least this is the only way I could think of to make sense of his behaviour (at least some of it). However if this is true they should give us more clues about it and also - Lian is going about in the completley wrong way lol.

And in this scenario the conversation you mentioned still doesn't make sense. And it also felt out of place, like their dynamic suddenly changed from before the date. They were not capable of a normal conversation up to this point and we were given no reason as to why this would have changed now...

Oh my god I felt that too! It was like a weird shift in their relationship dynamic and it came out of nowhere... Suddenly they were talking somewhat normally, saying they want to change, but when did they come to this conclusion?? Especially Kuea? I mean we know he's been a different person for Lian since always, but he never told Lian about this so why would he now? Wasn't he suspecting him (of some sort of scheme) just a couple of scenes before?

Also why did Lian get so angry that Kuea can't cut an egg lol. He's not gonna cut himself since both of his hands were on the knife... he might accidentaly stab Lian tho XD And then he wonders why Kuea gets sad! I mean has this man never interacted with another human being before?

Must admit the kiss scene made my heart beat tho, the swelling music was brilliant.

(To clarify, I wish their dynamic was always this open to conversation, but the fact is it wasn't, so it felt out of place without a reason as to why they changed their behaviour)

Especially as just before he started to be Black full time he also started to doubt his father and the type of life he was living before. He intentionally tried to screw up the interview for the position in the embassy (or was it ministry?) and was angry that he still got it because of nepotism.

So really he can't go back to his previous life no matter what, because his values and priorities have completley changed. But Black's life is also not his own, so he must be so lost as to what to do now and who to be.

Right!! There were so many clues he knows or is at least suspecting something. But if he was, then even if he didn't realise immediatley that this was the old Black he should have realised something wasn't right later, as he thought more about it??

I was also hoping Sean knew it was White or at least had some inkling that this wasn't Black anymore? But maybe Sean just knew Black so poorly before, that he thinks White's version is the true Black and like Sean he just hasn't shown anyone this soft side of himself before. So of course Black reverting to his previous angry and violent self would be a big surprise and would confuse the hell out of Sean... I don't really understand why he didn't give that some more thought, I mean it's not normal for someone to change so much without a reason? Or maybe Sean is just so insecure and scared that he's immediatly willing to accept that Black not wanting him anymore makes more sense than the opposite.

I did notice Sean seemed a bit surprised when Black kissed him, because he had his eyes closed and just one scene before we established White likes kissing with open eyes. So I thought that would clue Sean in... but it might have just been Sean's response at thinking Black accepted him?

I think maybe Todd already knew for some time where the gang was (for example he might have tracked White at some point, or he might have known before White was even in the picture) and the only reason he didn't act on it yet, was because he was trying to use White to get dirt on the gang and get them locked up trough police instead of attacking them with thugs? Or one of the guys might have accidentally been followed to the hideout. For example I don't remember anyone mentioning to Gram that they are being followed, so he might not have been careful.

I really don't think it was Dan, I feel like he's a good guy and he's trying to redeem himself, also while I still don't get Gumpa he also doesn't give me bad vibes...

Honestly I'm starting to lean towards Black for whatever reason. Maybe he doesn't trust the gang anymore or he even has some history with Todd?

It's always interesting seing pictures of cast with other members of staff because they always tower over everyone. I mean I feel like in American media the the actors for love interests also tend to be on the taller side usually so maybe it's just a general human obsession with tall men?

No I'm from a slavic country in the Balcans (South Europe). I looked up average height in Europe and it's about 5 ft 6in for women and 5 ft 10 in for men, so Europeans in general are pretty tall. Also it turns out my country (and a couple other Balcan counties) are among top 10 with tallest average height which surprised me :) Anyway this comparison is meaningless, since of course average height varies across the world, and I think most people view Gun as small mostly because male actors in dramas tend to be quite tall so he just looks shorter in comparison :)

I'm also taller than Gun heh. Not from nordic country, but I am european. I'm a little above our country's average height for women (and Gun is too lol but pretty sure he's smaller than our men's average).

Seriously it's cracking me up at times. But also if he was going to pretend to be into Eugene to save Black's relationship that would still ruin it I think. I mean how would you get back from finding out you've been kissing your boyfriend's twin and didn't even recognise him? So I think it's better that he's avoiding that issue. If Black wants to fix things later, he can always tell Eugene he was in a coma, so that wasn't him rejecting her. Also notice that White doesn't actually reject her, he just leaves things open (which can admittedly still make Eugene sad and end the relationship, but better than straight up rejection). Also Black broke up with Eugene for a reason, presumably to keep her safe, and he did that knowing it could mean the end of their relationship for ever, so White taking her back and puting her in harm's way would really be the oposite of what Black wants probably.

I don't think Tawi is innocent but he's very good at playing he is, otherwise he couldn't stay on top of the business world for so long...

Gumpa confuses me too, I can't belive how little we know about him... And he keeps giving them training and information, but he doesn't participate in the missions so how exactly is he involved with the group?? Also I feel like the convo he and Sean had this episode must have been something along the lines of White's actual identity, which makes me question whether Gumpa also suspected White and maybe even looked him or Black up? And possibly that he's the one that gives Sean final conformation of White's identity? But he doesn't strike me as a bad person, so even if we don't know him well, i think he's on the good side.

I think it's about Sean's father personally.

I think it's possible he's the cop that shot Sean's dad... And he feels super guilty about taking someone's life. I mean he could be feeling guilty about something lesser too but this would really tie him into the story.

I will second the History 3 Trapped recommendation, it's one of my favourite BL's. Manner of death is decent but I think the plot is not executed the best...

About White trying to act like Black, we should remember that they haven't seen eachother since they were kids, and suposedly had no contact since then, so even if he's trying, he doesn't really know what Black is like, and so can't properly act like him. The best he can do is try to fix any glaring mistakes he makes in the moment and hope they don't figure him out. I mean the whole plan was incredibly stupid from the start, he's supposed to imitate someone he doesn't really know, interact with a bunch of people he knows nothing about and somehow also figure out who hurt his twin? The only reason I'm willing to somewhat belive he hasn't been found yet is because if you don't know someone has a twin you wouldn't first think of this situation if a person starts acting different, you'd think something happened to them or they are on drugs or whatever. Still you wouldn't let them continue to join missions lol.

I started watching this drama as somewhat of a mystery, with us being in the same shoes as White, knowing nothing about these characters, what has been going with Black's life, who hurt him and such. I thought they were going to slowly reveal to us some past events while White learns about them, while we get to know the characters also through White getting to know them. But we're almost halfway through and we still know almost nothing about Black's past or about the characters around us, they just keep adding on new mysteries and red herrings. I mean who is Gumpa and how the hell did he become their mentor and why does he not help with the missions? What's with the ex girlfriend, why is she hanging out with Gram in secret if Gram is into Black? Why is Todd so suspicios, and how did he have White's number and how did he know Black is in the hospital if they were already estranged? And so much more... At this point I'm getting worried they won't be able to ansawer all these questions untill the end of the series (especially since they also have the plot of fighting for social justice and the love plots of all characters) and this is honestly bothering me more than the inconsistent tone of the drama.
