I don't know have they worked past it?

I feel like with Daisy/Day's identity crisis came a shift in their appearance that hasn't gone away yet (like different hairstyle and even some different mannerisms) so I fell like they haven't worked out their issue yet. I hope it's because the show is saving it for development between Intouch and Daisy but it might also just be that Daisy needs some time to work through their issues and figure out themself.

I agree completly and it was also dragged down by one of the main actors (the one from france, i forgot his name) being a pretty bad actor.
I think most of the people were kinda dissapointed at the end because when you look at the series knowing what you know at the end and ask yourself what the hell was the point of this? You can’t really ansawer it because they certainly didn’t give the characters any plausible reason to act like they did so it was relly just a fake plot for the sake of dragging the show out.

It’s incredible how much this show has grown on me! I loved loved loved all the Sky Jao moments they are SO CUTEEE!! I loved Sky from the start with his clear interest and open pursuit of Jao, and everytime there seemed to be a problem he reacted perfectly. And all throughout we see him respecting the boundaries that Jao sets. It’s clear from the start that Sky is a very touchy person and that he really wants to hug and touch Jao but once Jao established his boundaries Sky never pushed. Even in this episode there was a moment where Sky saw the scrunched up expression on Jao’s face and stopped short of kissing him. He waited for Jao to come to him, to clearly express he wanted this kiss and what came after and I love this so much. I really enjoy that in their relationship Sky is the clingy one, the attention seeking one and so on. It feels refreshing somehow.

And I also absolutely love Nuea and Toh. Their setup was very weird at the start but thy have grown so much and now have such a beutiful relationship! And they didn’t just forget the weird Toh behaviour from the start they dealt with it and managed to show a new side of Nuea and reinforce our understanding of how Toh thinks and his particular brand of insecurity. The problem they dealt with in this episode reminds me of the dynamic in japanise BL My Beautiful Man. And man can Nuea’s actor act! His love, his sadness, his anger, his dislike they all seem so natural and obvious from his face and the way he moves just beautiful!

Truly this has been an unexpected favourite. I’m so happy I suffered through the first few episodes.

For me it's the car crash reason and also the fun discussions it brings. But I don't think that this will necessarily work again if done over and over by the same company. I didn't START watching this because it's a car crash, I thought it would be good. And if the same company would now make a shitty show again I would think twice before watching it, for ex. I would wait for a couple episodes to air and see what the opinion is. If they did it more than twice they would gain a reputation for making shitty shows and noone would even bother checking them out anymore.

Ok I can take that :) When I say I hate sad endings I do usually mean when it's not justified, but only done for shock value.

I like how we basically co-opted the post bellow yours to continue discussing things about the show that don't make sense/make it bad. The OP must be so strongly not giving a rat's ass!

I'm trying not to get spoiled too much so I only briefly skimmed through the comments on Teddy Bear and I gathered that a lot of people are unhappy about the ending. Would you say it's a sad ending (ex. someone dies or like the main couple doesn't end up together or something like that) or just not what people were expecting? Bcs if it's actually a sad ending I need to rethink watching it, I hate sad endings with a passion.

I think that was probably a mistake as in kuea didn't do it intentionally. I think it was supposed to represent Kuea getting more relaxed aroud Lian to the point of not thinking about his clothes and behaviour every second of every day. But he still hasn't conciously decided to share that part of him with Lian. This is also probably the reason why Lian didn't say anything even tho he noticed it.

That's exactly what i did! I think I started watching this sometime at the end of Not me and it was probably because I've seen it recomended in some comment section 😂 It might not have been in Not me section tho. And I was really impressed by the first episode, since the acting and production were good, I thought this might go somewhere! Alas we were all so wrong...

I don’t see how you don’t think this is creepy. No matter how early Lian started to figure out his sexuality the age gap was too big to not be creepy to be into kuea. You think it’s normal that a 17 year old is into a 10 year old? How about 14 into 7? Maybe 7 into a newborn is better? It’s the opposite when you are a child, the age difference feels even bigger than when you’re an adult. Hell when you’re a child sometimes even a 1 year difference feels like you can’t relate to the person at all bacause they have so much less experience with the world.

I also find this surprising. I thought they were leaving out days where nothing really happened but now that i think about it they are still working on the same project in school so it couldn’t have been that much time…
