I'm a little late today as Eurovision had precedence over this haha.

They managed to lighteningly quickly resolve a giant issue again. At least Kuea elaborated a little on the problems they have, it's not just that Lian doesn't know him, it's also that they have no trust and Lian keeps choosing for him instead of asking for his opinion. Which, YEAH DUH!

Diao and Yi managed to have something resembling a real conversation! Props I guess.

Wow Kuea is SO much hotter when he dresses and acts like the Kirin personality (which apparently is in fact his real personality). Still can't get over how quickly they resolved their issue and suddenly Kuea feels completly ok acting like himself around Lian. Does he not feel angry that Lian has been torturing and testing him all this time?

UAU can Nunew sing! This just sounds so much better than Zee's version from previous episode, and that one was by no means bad!

Honestly some of the atmosphere and interactions from this episode were really good, if this was how the whole series was, this would be a pretty ok series. But Lian still can't get over himself and feels the need to be a snarky dick even in the middle of getting proposed to. Oh well, can't teach an old dog new tricks or whatever.

"I love you EVEN when you're like this." What a fun way to word this Lian. Does not at all imply that you'd prefer a different version of Kuea.

Anyway not much to complain about this time, it was a pretty ok episode. They sneaked in some marriage equality talk again. For such a toxic show they sure like to take the high ground on moral issues lol.

The fight scene was fun, and the storming out and honking also :)

Oh yeah it's these exact dramas that are making me mess up. I already had a problem when Nuea first appeared here because Nuea and Kuea sound so similar (especially as you said Kuea is often called Nu-Kuea).

But then I binged SCOY about two weeks ago and I think I also started Star in my mind the same week so i got really confused for a bit hahaha. I was like.... hmmmmm this name sounds familiar! *confusion*

For Star in my mind I don't use Dao (cuz it's only for his close ones haha) and I'm too lazy to write Daonuea so they are just all Nuea to me :(

Might have to start thinking of Nuer instead of Nuea, but I might still mix Kuea up sometimes :'(

Yes at first I thought this is another fantasy sequence for Li Gong like the kiss before. It just seemed to cheesy and unrealistic.

Well yes Kuea definitley only confirmed this now. He did to some degree suspect it before but was never really sure. Like at the racing date and even right when he had to move into Lian's house, he was wondering if Lian was testing him.

That come hug daddy moment was so uncomfortable to watch.

And yes I can't believe that was all the explanation we got for the land papers.

I also didn't expect this much hate for Kuea... I mean he can be annoying at times but to me it's pretty clear he's the victim. Or at least be angry at both of them for their lack of communication and lying? But this 'Poor Lian, evil Kuea rejected him so heartlessly! Why doesn't he trust his angelic fiance!' is incomprehensible to me. Like are we watching the same show? Did they miss all the manipulating and controlling beahviour from Lian? Just because Lian believes that what he's doing is right doesn't mean we as viewers can't see he's wrong?

Wow this sounds like a MUCH better drama then what we got.

I think Kuea just knows about Lian knowing about Kirin not necessarily the other stuff.

Right? Honestly this week I was a bit more impressed with NuNew's acting exactly because of the sadness and tiredness I felt he portrayed quite effectively.

It cracks me up how many people here are absolutely THRILLED by this episode ending, when it was probably intended to be the saddest point of the show XD

Truly this would be perfect. Kuea finally sheds his abusive partner to hopefully bloom as a musician and a mechanic.

The way Kuea's friends seemed not thrilled with the idea of not telling him about Lian being here, good! But then they actually didn't tell him....

Oh! An accidental Nuea/Syn kiss! And then a real kiss!! Whattt

At this point it feels as though Kuea is SO TIRED from all this worrying and pretending and holding his feelings in... The song feels like a final exhale of someone colapsing from all this weight. I don't know why everyone is having such happy smiles listening to this.

Stop being a smartass Yi, telling Diao to 'let other people deal with their own problems', just shut the fuck up!

Finally some confrontation! But what the hell were these reasons for not telling Kuea?? So stupid!! And jjust trust Lian? And 'I gave Lian the most important thing - you'? As if Kuea is yours to give to whomever you please the fuck??

I can't believe Kuea is actually blaming himself for Lian lying to him! Actually scratch that. I can totally believe he's blaming himself.

Kuea putting that tiny drop of make up on his already heavily made up face was a cherry on top of this terrible cake.

Actually the more I'm thinking about it the more weird Nuea moments from the start are coming to mind. They just both really started this relationship in the most unhinged way. I really forgot a lot of what happened at the start of the series bcs I watched the first two thirds of it in one go... But since they've been officially together they've been much better and became a little likeable in my opinion. I agree though that they don't hold a candle to Sky and Jao.

I must say I don't completly hate the main couple. Yes they had some real weird beginnings and Toh is still acting pretty similar to how he did in the begining - he's just an annoying character in general not just in the relationship. But Nuea on the other hand is a really solid boyfriend. He lifts Toh up, he's clearly completly in love with Toh and outwardly shows it, he doesn't get swayed by any outside opinion (or interference) and his actor is also really good at making Nuea's lovey-dovey interactions with Toh seem genuine. Basically Nuea is completley carying this couple for me heh. So I can't completley hate them.
