Wow, with this drama Yoon Kyun Sang really has catapulted himself into the top sageuk actors league alongside actors like Yoo Ah In and Lee Joon Gi! <3
Loved him in SFD, as Mu Hyul (one of the best drama characters ever!). But before starting this I wasn't sure if he can carry a drama by himself, especially one that's centered around him. And he surprised me because he's doing amazingly well! Now I feel bad for underestimating him XD
is this drama worth watching? I like Song Joong Ki but never watched this since I don't like dramas or movies…
I think you've completely misunderstood my post. It's totally ok for me if people criticize this, point put the flaws etc. But honestly how many bad comments would this get of it DIDN'T have 40% viewership ratings and crazy amount of buzz, awards etc? People are just bashing this like they do with every popular drama. If this wasn't as popular people would dub it "a gem", "a refreshing romcom" or whatever.
Long rant about useless psycho-bitch incoming~~ The "plot-twist's" in this drama are not even shocking…
>And Tae ho while a good actor, is a dumb bad guy
Exactly. He's not deep, intriguing, interesting. He's just a terrible excuse for a villain, just to have something that comes close to a plot/story. His actions are stupid and unreasonable.
>remove all the brains from their characters
This, just this! Remember Sohee's character development? She wanted to live and survive, she wanted to be friends with Bong Hee and everyone. And then they make her confront Tae Ho by herself! A guy who murdered two people, a guy she caught at killing another person. Would a sane human do that? I don't think so. Also why kill a character with potential? Why did they even develop her in first place? -_-
>He's the only one that's well developed (in my opinion), who feels human, and I don't want to kill constantly
Yeah, I also love Joon Oh's character development. He was just a "useless dude" at first but right now he's just that one thing that keeps the group together, the one who has the right ideas and who's in his right mind.
The "plot-twist's" in this drama are not even shocking anymore. Everything, literally EVERYTHING is set-up by Tae Ho. He did not only cause almost 98% of the trouble they had on the island and killed three people but is also the cause of Jae Hyun's death. And now again he's the source of trouble since he's blaming Joon Oh for everything. At this rate it wouldn't be surprising if it was Tae Ho who made the Titanic sink...
I just expected much more from this drama with all these theories fans made, all the interesting character premises we got in episode 1. But now everything got ruined because of one awfully written character, who gets used as "troublemaker" thanks to the writers lack of creativity.
Btw, no offense to people who still love it, good for you guys. Maybe I'm just being a salty, bitter bitch here. And I miss Yeol btw </3
As if fingerprints are the only method for identification...
That literally is in the synopsis -_- Almost everyone knew that before starting this and the viewers know within 15-20 mins ef episode 1or something. Also that drama is airing how can I spoil everything only having watched four episodes?
Yep, her acting seemed acceptable in Go Ho's Starry Night but that was also because she acted alongside KYK whose acting is not terrible but still average at best, plus it was a romcom.
But now she's acting with Ji Sung, one of the best K-Drama actors if not the best and also UKJ. That makes her acting look even worse...that wasn't a smart move, SM :/

No, why should I? This drama is amazing so far without having romance. And I mean it's a drama about a man who wakes up on death row, being told he killed his wife and daughter and you want to see him fall in love? It's kind of awkward/unfitting imo.
Also I don't think Yuri matches Ji Sung, no offense. His acting is like on a totally different level.
I wished they didn't introduced the luggage, which miraculously survived the crash. I mean the new clothes look so terrible, especially the colors *shudders* I actually liked the beige much more, especially Yeol with that fluffy sweater >.<
Let's not forget about actresses like Kim So Hyun and Kim Sae Ron :)

But did anyone watch this? How was it?

2. hopefully not
Baek Jin Hee's acting is so amazing already, she might be my next girl crush. Fits the character perfectly <3
I think it won't be the "Love is the momeeeent!" kind of romance, but more subtle. Otherwise it probably would distract from the actual plot.
