I read in some reviews that people think the lack of emotions in Hwang Shi Mok is unnecessary and only an addition to "make the drama special" or something. That's not true at all! The fact that he was actually able to solve hard cases is caused by the lack of emotions. He is:
> always rational and calculating, he won't get blinded by anger, pity, "common sense" etc. > can't trust people easily (lack of empathy) > won't be swayed by monetary values (lack of greed, thus isn't corrupt)
That's why he was so different and a better prosecutor than anyone else. It's not just a quirk to make the series seem more interesting, it's actually important to the plot.
why does everyone hate ssk? she was really good in six flying dragons
I feel like some people hated her because she got casted as unlikable female lead in a few dramas, after that it was just bandwagon hate. I loved her in SFD and she does great in historicals! People need to give her a chance :)
I'm not that fond of werewolves but since it's Li Qin I have to watch this asap! Her acting is so good, like she's really underrated imo. Hope this will finally air soon :/
Am I the only one who felt she did not deserve YWY?
Ugh no one in this drama deserves him tbh. Like he's saving his friends/close ones asses the whole time and they just don't appreaciate him. Like I can't believe he saved her a gazillion times and literally begged her to stay with him and she just...left? He deserves better :/
This one is getting insane ratings in Korea right now & as a fan I'm really surprised and super happy! I'm glad Kyungsoo's acting got more exposure to the general public now. So proud of him! <3
"politically-driven-with-lots-of-deaths" is just what I love and expect from historical dramas, however I don't…
""politically-driven-with-lots-of-deaths" is just what I love and expect from historical dramas"
Finally someone says it, I don't know why people who don't like that even watch historical dramas. Ppl always give bad ratings here if it's "too political" for their tastes.
Going by the synopsis and what the trailer gives, politics are definitely going to be present. :\ That being said,…
I think Iljimae has no serious politics, I think it's the same for many historicals that aren't based in the court/palace. Also Moon Lovers comes to mind, it aims to have politics but its not really deep politics imo.
