I only watched his "newer" dramas so I don't know how his acting was in his first ones. But it's definitely great in Rooftop Prince, Missing You and The Girl Who Sees Scents. Awesome~

umm I did not watch Liar Game yet but copy? The korean remakes I've watched so far weren't copies at all (BOF and To the Beautiful you were completely different from their originals for example). You shouldn't gerenalize that.

She's an awesome actress, I loved her in King of Dramas!

I'm currently watching Cunning Single Lady and really like it & I heared this one's similar to it (or also to Hi My Sweetheart which is one of my favorites). But it seems like people tend to hate the female lead in here. Is she really a gold-digger? I just can't stand those selfish money seeking characters -_-

He's actually a really nice guy, it just sounds like you didn't watch the whole series, because he changes...
The only scene with him as a womanizer is in Ep 2. After falling in love with her, he didn't mess around anymore that often.
Characters need flaws. Without flaws there wouldn't be any character development. No one needs perfect people, because no one is perfect. :P
