I like Ci sha🤣 but definitely he got less fans since he is not considered as pretty boy and mostly he act at big screen action movies

In the original novel his character is actually Chen Xuan Qing’s dad, but here he is his uncle.. so a rare ML characteristic from recent dramas

Ci sha is a good actor, surely not a pretty boy, also here he is an “old” guy, older brother of Chen Xuan Qing deceased adopted dad

I just read the novel summary…..lots of stuff happen later on , apparently both concubine and her daughter are same evil😅. But let see how, lots of stuff is different from the novel, specially ML background story and relationshiop with others around him( in novel he is the dad of FL first crush, and he got a daughter as well, in the series they became nieces and nephews)

I'm trying hard not to compare, but having the same character played by Zhao Liying is indeed different. Also, the editing feels patchy. Even though I can tell this isn't a low-budget production, and Li Yunrui's series are usually good, I had to force myself to watch 5 episodes of this one before reviewing it. I probably won't continue watching. I had high hopes, though.

This is the result of TXW agent asking for more hours and make the storyline focus on FL, instead of “equal” like in the novel🙄

Is this part that make them not “friendly” to each other? However they still can deliver good acting and chemistry. But i can see in live and BTS seems TXW afraid of being too intimate and maybe inviting gossip too. But yeah, i feel the chopped down part..
