Trying hard to finish 5ep before commenting aince i have trust in the actor/actresses lineup. But not wire what happened here, the scene seems choppy and the director too focused on “how cool& pretty” is the princess. yes Mengziyi looks cool in the costume and red , but it ended like she have no chemistry or link with ther rest of the cast. I felt the way they present this just like low budget mini drama., just watch, don’t think . Maybe that’s the popular trend in China?

Princess gambit still better, this can be good but the editing and acreen writing is little bit here and there, just focusing to make the princess looks”cool”

The other series that just finished and not too popular (Tang Dynasty Occult Mysteries) also have limited romance but still enjoyable since they kind of supporting each other. This one, at first Qi looks like helping etc but then his character kind of slipped out by the screen writer and became “secret” admirer only😅 and literally mothing happened😅 then story is 50% documentary,30% aunt 4th hatred and repeated assault, 15% li family, 8%tian family,2%romance…might as well don’t put out romance here.

Hmm its repeated.. if the meeting can be an e mail, this series should be a 2 hour movie only

Did the director favoring senior actor/actres compare to ML&FL, seems the ending made for Fu hai Lian and wife jnstead for ML&FL🙄

Just saw this series rate 5,6 only in china😭 where can we cast vote to show some love. Indeed the first few series are not enough MLs lovey dovey or shows of love and kisses. More on building story and she was MINOR which is appropriate.. but seems people wants those kind of atuffs
