nah he got cancelled by his people not the Japanese, he went to a famous tourist location during Sakura season and took a pic of himself with the Sakura and in the background there was the shrine I think it has something to do with the Japanese soldiers who invaded China and they thought he went to that shrine so they cancelled him he just simply took a picture with the Sakura blossoms and the shrine appeared behind him.
yeah that's one possibility I considered cause both were already seen by audience but what made me hopeful was the ability to sell they're allowed to sell by the government the problem is we're waiting for these international companies to step up and be brave to buy something that was completely shelved.
