I havent started yet, so i havent seen it for myself, but i took a part of the ML father character profile : His only concern is his son, Poongju's marriage.
He's a stubborn father who's determined to get Poongju married, even if it means running away from home.
So it seems hes trying to corner his son into marriage.

From what i read, ML seems unlikable. FL hung up on ML and following him like a puppy. The stalker plot seemed over the top for a weekender family drama. Seems like SML is more preferred?. So much frustrating things in the first 5 episodes. That's what gives me a headache 😂. Correct me if i'm wrong though.

Yeah i get it. It's still probably one of my favorite cdrama of all time. Many people liked Fuheng. But i still think Emperor suited her personality more.

I generally enjoyed Three Bold Siblings, but maybe that was because i like Kim So Eun and i enjoyed both age gap couples unlike the main lead. I also enjoyed seeing the villains downfall. But most of these weekenders have some problem towards the end when it gets rushed.

I agree that the last truly good weekender as a whole and what a weekend family drama is suppose to be, was Once Again. What ruined IBN for me, was especially how the youngest couple was treated and how FL mother got such a huge amount of story and screentime.

Oh i'm not complaining about the actress. I believe how other couples have acted is a writer & director issue and not the actors. I've seen Jiwon youtube channel. They all get along very well. Seeing also how Yoon Bak and Shin Seulki interacted on her video during the wedding, it's writer and director fault for ruining them aswell.
I like Uhm Jiwon as an actress.

People talk too much crap. I haven't seen her in much before. I do remember seeing her in Childless Comfort where she play a lawyer and unwed mother with a baby. Her personality was pretty closed off in that drama, so i enjoyed her having a more happy personality here.
From the behind the scenes, she get along very well with the cast. So if anyone is to blame, it's the producers,director % writer.

its the same director & writer combo which makes it worse. I will probably check what people says about it. But as of right now, i don't have any intention to watch it. I will just wait for the next weekender. I miss the days when SBS and MBC did weekenders
