its not gonna follow the novel but in the novel. huangyingzi liked zhuang yuan at first but then liked jiangyi. (doesn't count since she only liked ZY coz she thought he was handsome and everyone had a crush on him so she had to as well) ZY character is different in the novel, he was the quiet, cold and smart type but they made him a nerd in the drama lol. ZY liked Huang yingzi secretly in the novel. But they changed it in the drama to him liking Mingyu who did like him in the novel but she ends up getting over him and got with another guy but in the drama ig she does still like him. Yi fei liked jiang yi in the drama but they made her and guan chao a cp in the drama but guan chao did not end up marrying her in the novel nor drama either so yh.
so far the drama cps are: Huang yingzi + Jiang yi , possible sl is ding ye who hasn't appeared yet. Zhuang yuan + Ming yu Yi fei + Guan chao ( they clearly don't end up together tho since he is marrying someone else in the present time)
