chloe did what I least expected her to do. It was so random. 😅 I wasn't paying attention to her coz i was whizzing past her scenes but that was mad low of her.
Tbh realistically, although its possible, I could never like someone for that long nor would i have the patience to wait for that long so it would be interesting if she did move on and get with ding ye but again that's just me. I do want her with jiang yi but I'm just saying to be prepared so even if they do go that route, i wouldn't even be mad plus they do be having chemistry even if they have few scenes together.

Quite different but certain aspects are similar. In terms of the couples, in the drama they are way different to the novel except for the main couple unless they do a plot twist and fl don't end up with the ml. Ding ye character never existed in the novel and a few other childhood friends have been removed. Zhuang yuan personality in the drama is opposite to the novel. fl liked zhuang yuan in highschool in the novel, had a boyfriend in uni and then got with jiang yi in her 30s, however they removed that in the drama and only focused on jiang yi. It seems they used the novel as inspiration and changed everything else, just keeping certain parts the same. I remember writing a whole summary of the novel before this got filmed but im gonna have to scroll way tooo down to find it lol.
