The character poster of xiao yao is most likely the part where she agrees to marry feng long after being heartbroken. She is holding xiang lius poison in her hand 😭 and jing has hurt her. She doesn't know what to do now and is waiting for xiang liu to come after hearing the news of her marriage.

I knew he was trouble the moment they cast him I knew this drama was done for.

Yeah she doesn't spend all her life with the main lead lol. But she did meet him before all the other main leads as a kid however he is only the main lead coz 1 he gets a lot of screen time and barely any romance scenes with fl. Its mostly like a sibling relationship so u would barely even be able to tell he was a love interest. Fl spends her life with each main lead but she met jing/yeshiqi (dengwei) first when she was older and then xiang liu(tanjianci) and then xuanzhu and then feng long. So I feel they all have a reasonable amount of screen time although jing gets the least screentime despite him having the most romance scenes with fl and xiang liu having the most intimate scenes with fl due to the voodoo bug within them that helps them share each others pain.
