In the novel tbc character did end up being a scumbag who kept cheating despite being married but ig he 'redeemed' himself by choosing his wife. He was indeed scheming but he wasn't evil. It was mostly his brother that did the dirty work. I'm convinced they switched the brothers personalities up. Honestly, I don't even remember the 4th aunt in the novel. She prob did exist coz there were a few annoying characters in there, mostly from the tian family tho.

He's not even that important in the novel, he just exists and no he isn't evil either, it's mostly his brother who was kind of a villain/business rival but they made his brother useless here lol. It's like they gave his brothers character set up for him but made him 10x worse. His sister was also luo wenqians fiance before the incident and she wasn't a nice person like she is in the drama, let alone friends with li zhen. Lets hope she isn't gonna turn bad later on, I'm hoping she's the only good person in that family.

Ughh sad to see tian benchang get a 360 degree change from his character in the novel. I hope they didn't make him a villain just for the sake of it. I wasn't expecting to hate his character but now hes at the top of my hate list along with that annoying aunt.

She filmed battle of changsa when she was 19 before she joined that company so yk girl had potential but tbh aol and ggs rlly did boost her popularity, and allowed her to get more script choices. Now she's finally free and has been picking better scripts ever since.

Yh the second lead in the novel is the main lead here in the drama now. In the novel the second lead hurts the fl but claims he loves her. He'd rather shoot an arrow at her when she's being used as a hostage against him. He threatens and tortures her, marries another girl after kissing her then has the audacity to ask her why she got with the main lead. He could have easily been the main lead because the real main lead was gone for so many chapters and they spent sm time together, she was attracted to him but the moment he married another woman who later died and 'broke his promise' (he didn't rlly break it bt she only found out the truth later so ig that was his only redeeming factor), she ran away from him and I'm sure how he treated her was also a reason. So I'm rlly confused how they changed the plot now.
