After 'The On1y One' series, I swore I would NEVER pick up BLs with rumoured and unconfirmed second seasons, but…
Have you watched "To my Shore?" THAT was my hyperfixation for month! I rewatched it every time a new episode came out, two per week- we were sooo lucky!, and the OST is chilling and I never skipped it!
Wow I LOVEEEED this!!!! Just watched this for the first time and it was amazing. Im sad Chinese BL dramas are…
If you want another great C-BL I can recommend "To my Shore"! It is more dark and emotional, but the characters are so well written and acted, I already watched it I don't know how many times! and the soundtrack... I never skipped!
Finished my rewatch and I can't believe I forgot what a well written and acted series this is!
Their chemistry is so natural, the way they act with each other is just sooo intimate, it feels like a real relationship. In the show, not Real life, to be clear. It just shows what good actors, a well written Script and a good director can produce and that is a natural feeling show.
I got hot when they just looked at each other, I teared up when they had emotional scenes (for every character, because they all did a wonderful job!) and I cheered when something good happened. I had a cozy feeling the whole time and I will surely come back over and over again, because I rarely find a show that makes me feel so much.
I'm excited about the new show with KristSingto and the same director! If it is just half as good as this, I will devour it! My hopes are high, but I will be open minded and enjoy the (emotional) ride ^^
Look, I am not getting paid to defend this show, but I am also not here to pile on with everyone else. I actually…
What I always notice is that a lot of people don't understand the difference between plot driven and character driven stories. This is a character driven story, so not a lot of action, except for their Sex scenes, and that is absolutly okay. I'm currently watching a K-Drama with a plot driven story and the romance is second place for me, to be honest. It is important for the characters and why they will do something, but the story is so good and captivating, it would work without it. I enjoy both, just like I enjoy different genres. You can see what drives the story after the first two episodes. If you watch more and still complain, that is a you problem.
Another character driven show I really enjoyed is The Promise.
(commenting this everywhere) i feel like I've watched every good BL that exists and now I'm actually stuck...…
Have you tried chinese BLs? Last year aired 5 really good ones ( secrets happened on Litchi Island is really, really good, too) like Revenged Love, Kill to love, ABO ( it is nice, but can be confusing if you are not familiar with the Omegaverse. And the second couple doesn't get much screentime.), Blue Canvas of our Youth and my number 1 To my Shore. This show is toxic as fuck but both characters are strong and match their freak! And the chemistry is on fire! I was obsessed with them! Just like they are obsessed with each other!
The amount of cuteness aggression this family let me feel is not normal! The father is hilariously cute! The way he smiled so widely and proudly! And Mok, poor Mok! xD
I screamed laughed at that! xD

Now I am stuck at work for another few hours and I want nothing more than watch this episode!

And I still love it!
This is just such a cozy feeling all over again ^^
Love everything about it!
