now thinking about it is funny all these drama happened cos someone decided to leak a gc convo. grand tutor li did this 17years ago and failed and he thought now he can succeed. qi min followed the exact path the late emperor laid out and ended up just like him. moral be careful what you say in gc 😂😂😭
as someone who goes into every drama with zero to no expectations poj exceeded all my expectations. although more could have been done to the storyline it was still great and the adaptation wasn’t butchered like other dramas do. every drama will have a little issues here and there. I guess if they had more episodes everything could have been tied up perfectly. from directing, to costume, hair and make up and acting everyone served and did their due diligence. in a blink everything ended it felt like I started watching it yesterday. despite all the drama this show went through it still prevailed through and through.

Unfortunately that’s how their industry works. Even more bigger artist get mistreated. The artist are not really respected & there’s nobody that will hold the production & crew accountable they just have to get on with their work as if nothing happens. The good thing he has some other activities going when he’s not filming.

At this point I’m used to it. That’s tencent for you their cgi & editing have been the worse of the worse. This is even better. Whenever I watch their drama’s I just turned it out otherwise you can never finish a drama. I haven’t read the story but so far from watching all the current episodes it’s okay

Couldn’t agree more. Unfortunately he won’t be the first nor the last. This happens too often to actors. Whoever is organising the work luck basic respect. I have seen this too many a times in cnet. They lack respect for these actors how can you waste someone’s time like that. That is not professionalism. They cancelled the scheduled work at last min & then later called him back again just to reshoot some scenes from yesterday for about 10mins. They could have filmed this another time when he’s on set. The supporting roles have filmed way more the actual ml. He’s a guest in his own drama.
He was suppose to film from the Feb 8th -11th & that has also been cancelled.
These people need to do better you can’t expect someone to be at your beck & call like that just cos they’re working for you. If you can’t plan then don’t work at all. People have personal life besides work

I just realised who the director is I hope he worked on the lighting this time cos the lighting in FH almost took my eyes out 😭😭😂

really it doesn’t show the number of episodes for me. Maybe they filmed 34 and cut it to 30 episodes. Iqiyi has been cutting down the number of episodes lately

Thank you thank you thank you. You literally summed up everything I have been meaning to say. This is why I love their breakup era so much. It’s something everyone can resonate with it made so much sense. They eo worked on themselves while making eo’s dream come through that devotion and redemption was so peak & how it was shown. I’m afraid no drama couple can ever match up to them. I can never let them go.

Thank you for your opinion. But I would say about 90% of the people who watched SAL were adults and not teenagers. To me & some viewers it was well balanced out to show yes she was naive, innocent and all that but she still had other attributes such as being “capable, mature and emotionally grounded”. There were a lot of scenes that indicated all of these but I guess too many were focused on her voice and the cuteness and whatnots that they missed the other side of Mumu.
There are so many dramas now that’s just strong woman and there’s nothing wrong with that too but the fl character her shows you can be both as & when needed and with “that person” and there’s nothing wrong with that too.

I am so glad it aired in December. A nice way to finish the year. It was a breath of fresh air. It was 10/10 for me. How’s the angles were filmed, the acting. From episode 19 was just a rollercoaster of emotions. I literally cried every episode from there on. The tension and chemistry was great. Every word said just pierced my heart and made so much sense. I hope in the near future we see them again in another drama cos it can’t be wasted. I can’t recommend it enough to other people. I a lot of things during the angst made sense and was realistic.

I honestly don’t get how it didn’t meet censorship cos I’ve seen way more/worse than this in a cdrama

I seriously need all the cut scenes. Whenever I remember the tub scene I get mad all over again. I was so excited for it and then it just ended like that am like how. What do you mean they cut it or didn’t meet censorship. They could have kept that whole scene or at just let it be Zhaozhao grabbing her in the tub or Mumu accidentally slipped into it.

Mumu saying she’s getting married at the end of the year she didn’t lie tho. Just that the bf is currently clueless. I love how Lighting brought her to the cafe. ZhaoZhao game is on a different level he really went all out with the cafe and buying their old house.
One scene I’m most sold on is their talk & back at the kitchen and him chasing her holding and crying with her in the elevator
