For what I know the novel is kinda bad, a total PWP The serie is totally different, someone translated a few chapters…
It's not a matter of "different plot", it's just bad written. If you like good literature you will faint reading this. May & Tul said in a fan meeting how difficult it was for the writers to put together the story. There are mostly sex scenes in every detail. Tul even admitted how, when they read it, he asked Max if he had finally found the plot. Because apparently there is none.
So if you are knew to that kind of entertainment, you may like it and be excited about it. But if you know it (like I do) then it's just boring. Sex scenes between two males written by a woman are not my favorite anyway, it's just too cheesy and too much focus on penetration which isn't realistic.
The novels are only available in thai language and I doubt that a passionate soul will translate that kind of material.

Those so called "novels" are nothing else than bad written fan fictions. And yeah, PWP means "Plot, what Plot?" or "Porn Without Plot". I tried reading the Addiction/Heroin novel and "Yandaixije Street no. 10". Both were HORRIBLE! I'm impressed how they manage to make lovely series with such crappy source material.
Max&Tul and the actress who played Yihwa are doing another drama together. I cannot believe it, seriously. It's some crime/fantasy/superpower show. That will be great or awful. I will watch it for sure if there is a chance international fans can see it #สิงหะนาคะ
I don't know ... I must be the only person who is almost glad the show ended. Every Wednesday and Thursday…
Don't be so pessimistic ;) Together With Me was also a second season (well, a prequel, but they made it later). It turned out goooood. I have hopes for Sotus.
I don't know ... I must be the only person who is almost glad the show ended. Every Wednesday and Thursday I was completely ... well, useless. I coudn't concentrate on work and looked at the time every few seconds. I even entered the darknet to be able to watch it at 3pm in my country (I used a thai IP adress) and not an hour later on Youtube. If they decide to make a season 3 I will lose my sanity for sure ;P
It isn.t so popular? Are you sure? I Thought it was. Probably it's because airs only on the internet and not…
I I have heard of them all. If I remember correctly I couldn't find English subs for "White Night" and "Irresistable Love ". Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough? I skipped Two Weddings and a Funeral because I prefer draaaaamaaa lol.

I had indeed a great start. "Love of Siam", "No Regret", "Eternal Summer" were the first BL movies I watched. They are my favorites until today. Recently I discoverd "Night Flight".

To be honest, I had a hard time to get into thai drama because the langauge has such an unpleasant sound, it's really, really ugly. And then they start singing and it sounds WONDERFUL. The first thai movie I ever watched was "Love of Siam". It was hard to listen to them speaking, but I downloaded the soundtrack immediately lol.
I think the series has brought more international fans. When I watched Bad Romance, there is a channel where it…
I rate Max&Tul chemistry at least with 13 (lol), so I can rate the whole series with 10 :P I'm not so critical, nothing is perfect in this world. Efforts must be appreciated :)

I have seen the original channel where Stous and 2Moons airs, provides English subtitels. TV Thunder didn't do that, which is a shame. Maybe I'm wrong about the populartiy, who knows. I'm pretty knew to thai TV.

Talking about "overrated", look at Addicted/Heroin. I loved that too (yes, I melted seeing Johnny and ZhouZhou together), but the novel was like a bad written, smutty fanfiction with cliche seme and uke and even rape. That reminds me of the time when I started writing BL stories (now I'm writing about murder lol) and I had to compete with such authors. Good luck! Writing a good story with good plot and interesting characters isn't enough to attract readers. People are in need of some questionable things. I'm very generous with my rating. TWM is a 10 for me, even though the story itself is maybe a7 (or 6.5). Sotus storyline was pretty mature and smart, but the love story was too cheesy for me. But objectively speaking I think it's good. I don't care about looks that much. Yes, Korn would be 100 times more attractive if he would look like in Bad Romance (with lesser muscles), but if Knock likes him, that's all that matters :P
It isn't as popular as SOTUS and 2Moons that's for sure.... And it isn't fair since, and I say that even though…
Talking about "realistic plot". In TWM they at least adressed the gay issue. They could have done a better job, yes, but in many other BL series it looks like being gay is completely normal. I feel like the whole school is gay and everyone is okay with it. I rewatched some Bad Romance episodes, both Knock and Korn were like I'm-only-gay-for-you (Korn said something like he doesn't care boy or girl, he just likes Knock - pansexual much?). In TWM they made Korn 100% gay - good job there! I don't remember how they handled this in Sotus, to be honest.

I watched TWM on the official channel of TV Thunder. Bad Romane has much more views there too, but it's longer online and after all the main pairing was hetero which attracts more viewers. I wonder if it gets more attention with time. Not everyone wants to wait a week for new episodes, many prefer binge watching the series. Hopefully some talented people make videos about them to spread the love. Storywise I think Sotus is better. TWM is ... well, I have seen that plot at least three times. But the emotion, the production, the characters, the acting ... it is very special. The chemistry between Max&Tul is something you don't witness often. How they pulled off the love and kissing scenes is admirable. I want to see others try to make a kiss look so real, emotional and passionate! 2Moons on the other hand ... wow. I don't want to bash a series, but the love it gets is hard to understand. I'm too old for something like that, I guess. I agree with YourDirtyWater. Most like fluffy and cute BL stories. Funny thing, some people seem to dislike Knock&Korn because both of them are pretty buffed up. They prefer their boys more innocent and feminine looking lol.
