Honestly, if there was a series with just Ing going about his day, I would watch it. I would watch him work and spill his coffee. He is so entertaining, doesn't matter what he does, or if he does anything.

You most likely think that way because they don't go for a romantic approach. All the series you mentioned were rather romantic.
In this series the leads have basically the hots for each other, but there is no romance yet.

There were some scenes where I felt like Copter was trying hard not to smile but failed miserably.
Bank is just too much to handle!

I had high hopes for this since I'm a sucker for gender bender, but I'm bored to death.
The ml is annoying and not sassy at all. The girl is over the top tomboy who of course has several black belts. He praised her stance which made me laugh, because the stance was terrible and she doesn't look athletic at all. The voice gives her true gender away.
Still, I can see they tried and her face is at least convincing.
I don't remember the series, but there was a girl (I think a side character) which was very tall, like one head taller than all the other girls, very broad shoulders, and everyone thought she is a guy. Those types do exists, but for gender bender stories they always cast petite and small girls. Just look at her wearing a suit while walking alongside a real guy. She is half his size.
The love triangle isn't needed either. The whole plot seems so annoying and uninspired. I don't want to spread a bad mood, but I thought I have a new series to watch for the upcoming weeks, but nope. Boring and unlikable characters, boring plot, full of troupes and cliches. Nothing new under the sun.
Like your expectations nowadays must be in the gutter to be happy with all that recycled stuff. I miss the good old times when actors and characters had charisma.
Think about a series like Coffee Prince. Very toxic and questionable, but damn, the charisma.

Wasn't that big of a fan of ep4. What is Yok thinking? Nobody knows.
Bank's acting was again out of this world. I enjoy watching this character tremendously. But Copter, I mean Yok, it's hard to understand what's going on in his mind. I don't like that he is in love with Itt. This is such a cliche. When you have two guys with a rather let's say "rocky" relationships like Ing and Yok, then of course one of them has a crush on the nice guy, the boring guy, the safe guy. Of course!
Seriously ... what is he thinking? He is angry at Itt, but he is also attracted to him. Is he angry at himself for that? Whatever you call it, grape or rough sex, well ... what was that for? I can't put together the puzzle in my head what kind of person Yok really is. He felt guilty afterwards. Cute *sarcasm off* But yeah, Ing didn't want to listen. That's what you get when you play with fire.
Well, we will see ...

If you're triggered by that kind of content, I don't know if this show is a good watch for you. Since the acting is so great, it feels very real. Ing gives me creepy uncle vibes despite being hot and sexy. Already in ep1 he shows very predatory behavior, in ep3 he basically says he will give Yok everything - sugardaddy vibes. The SA wasn't that terrible until now since they make it look like Yok is indeed a tiny bit attracted to Ing. He also makes the mistake of getting too close to him when he just could keep his distance. It's clear for me that they try to balance the relationship out by making Yok hot headed and violent since he is a boxer, so he doesn't appear too helpless like a little mouse ready to be eaten by the cat. At the end it results in abuse on both sides (sexual and physical).

Bank is great.
Imagine more BL actors would have such swag and charms. We would live in BL heaven!
I don't know Thai, but hearing him talk ... I recognize some of the phrases, but he makes everything sound different, because he has such a natural delivery of his lines. He also uses his whole body when acting, facial expressions are constantly changing. He steals the show every time he is on screen. I give credit to Copter though, he is holding his ground well, which is a challenge when you're paired with such a guy. He fits the role well. He is also extremely cute und really good looking. I hate it when they pair such great guys like Bank with actors who aren't on the same level (acting or look wise), but Copter was a great choice.

I hope this is better than To My Shore. I had to drop that series, because it made me laugh too much. I just can't with those rich dudes and their silly manipulative games. Completely unrealistic, and even if you assume it isn't, what the f*ck kinda stupid and dramatic life are they living? I mean, who can relate? I sure can't. So silly, devoid of any real meaning unless you assume their longing for each other and their dramatic heartbreak is somehow important.
Enough trashing.
Back to this story. It's hot. That's everything I care for. Bank has so much swag, great actor, very likable and believable in his role. Yok has a pretty face, that's enough I would say.
So yeah I watch this for entertainment and for the hotness. Couldn't care less about family drama or rich guy business problems.
My Favorite BL at the moment if they keep this up.

I liked Yok a lot in those two episodes, but after seeing the trailer he reminds me of Dunk. Not much emotions in his delivery. It may suit this particular character, but I fear at the end it's just a lack of acting talent. We will see.

Looks to me that Bank has to carry the whole show on his back!
Acting difference between him and the rest of the cast is huge.

They blew it.
I know this is a small low budget BL series, but lately I wondered, how they managed to come up with such a brilliant plot.
I know I have spend a lot of time hating on Lin Zai (mostly because he was so stupid to trust Yao and hurt A Leh on purpose instead of talking to him), but the drama itself they build up in the last episode was very intense and reasonable.
Our couple started getting distant after A Leh killed Brother Li and was ready to kill Sister Chen. It's understandable that something like this may traumatize Lin Zai and forces him to rethink his relationship with the "human weapon" how he called A Leh. Brilliant plot. Then the situation with his brother, we got flashbacks how A Leh said in the theatre he doesn't believe a zombie can turn back. So again, it's very reasonable of Lin Zai to think A Leh will be against him participating in this shady research (which he is!) and even kill his brother when he learns about his existence. I mean, he wouldn't do that. A Leh is not an obsessive zombie killer, but it would be understandable if Lin Zai has those kind of fears. Also, meeting his brother and seeing he is still alive and interacting with him when he is in this state is also traumatizing and may have clouded his judgement.
So he had to push A Leh away. The scene when he was lying in bed and A Leh came near him, how fast he got up and how quick he tried to get away from him. I thought it's because he feared A Leh would get suspicious since Lin Zai's condition was already bad (pale, tired, maybe cold because of the blood loss). But then in the next episode, when they met in the rain and Lin Zai couldn't even walk straight, A Leh wasn't worried and didn't even think there was something wrong. Lack of detail here.
So yeah, now our couple is together again.
We have seen Lin Zai felt bad for hurting A Leh on purpose. He even said to sister Chen he has his reasons. But still, he had a point. There was truth in his words. They had a lot to unpack and to talk about, but nope.
Yes, I'm team A Leh, but I always pointed out how he is indeed a ruthless killer, how he is very aggressive in those love and kiss scenes, but how he is also in control of his emotions, doesn't hurt innocent people, and let's be real: He has a good heart. I still don't blame him for the kidnapping, it was his damn job, but I expected those two to resolve their issues a bit slower. I expected Lin Zai to show more desperation, to show A Leh his struggles, his fears. Well, he already showed him some of those, but now he just said, he didn't mean it? Are those writers for real? They purposely wrote those dialogues that made us all teary-eyed just to be like: He didn't mean it.
And now suddenly everything is fine. Lin Zai looks at A Leh with hearts in his eyes, and A Leh is cooking like a good husband. They are calling each other cute.
All the drama so that A Leh doesn't find out about Lin Zai participating in the experiment. Now he knows it – and what exactly has he done? Nothing. Lin Zai even told him he wants to do it again. A Leh's reaction? He is a good boyfriend now and very supportive. Like ... wtf was this all for? And A Leh hating Yao showed us how good he is in reading people and how worried he was about Lin Zai, but towards the end they made it look like he was just jealous and thought Lin Zai is in love with Yao. Come on!
They really blew it.
Regarding Yao: I felt like they are forcing this 2nd couple onto us. They get so many scenes which basically do nothing for the plot and are very repetitive. So I still wonder if they will kill him off or not.

Not gonna lie, but this was disappointing.
All the drama, all the harsh words, all the suffering on both sides, just for Lin Zai so say: Nah, I didn't mean it. I was afraid you would be against the research, but now let's talk about it (like we should have done from the beginning). I still want to save my brother.
And A Leh like: Okay.

Just started this series, and there is a lot to like about it.
Acting/chemistry is out of this world. Older guy shows such good acting that I almost can't believe it.
But ...
Question: Imagine the older one would look ugly and creepy and not hot and sexy: he shows 100% predatory behavior. Is this ever addressed or are we supposed to think this is hot and cute?

No idea. How they talk about it, it seemed to me like it happened only a few months ago, but that can't be when you look at the run down buildings or that airport and airplane. But it can't be many years either, since Lin Zai went to college and he doesn't look older than 25.

I was always confused about some of the tech like A Leh's watch. How is it able to detect an immunogen? Who had the time and means to develop something like this? He was sold by his parents. To whom? It must be some kind of organization that creates mercenaries. Sounds apocalyptic, but back then there was no apocalypse. Now he got hired by that pharmaceutical company? I'm confused about the timeline.

lol, I saw that too, even the tires look completely new under the thin dirt layer.
It's honestly so funny, because every 5 years old car would be more believable. Those cars seem fresh out of the factory.
