Honestly, I don't know what to think about this.
I don't love it as much as I thought I would.
Toto being heart broken was my favorite scene. Great emotional acting from Tay.
But Kanit is soo damn annoying. The character just won't redeem himself. He did it at the end, but it feels like he was Toto doing a favor like it's an honor for Toto to be with him. We know Kanit has not much self esteem either, so he is not really thinking like that, but they made it look like he would, which I didn't like. Toto is also simping a bit too hard for Kanit. He himself is not aware of his own worth, it's all about who has more money, and that's such a shallow and weak plot. Like the whole issue in this episode was basically: I'm not good enough for the wealthy high society posh flight attendant, so now I have to fake I'm wealthy too to win him over. As if that would work! I know we are not supposed to take this serious, but come on! The plot is sooo simple.
Not to mention that Toto was really too pushy in this series. We the audience already know they like each other, but if you look at it objectively, Toto's behavior was too much. Even the humor couldn't save it.
Kanit's friends are shallow and boring. Every scene with them and the ex boyfriend is a waste of screen time.
Only four more episodes to go.
They could have done so much more with this series. The characters are good, but next episode we will get their boyfriend era which will be mostly cute filler. Then the plot with the father, and it will be over. That was it?
Can't believe those episodes are 45 min to an hour long, already 6 aired. I feel like nothing really happened until now.
2nd couple feels so redundant.

It's TayNew ... not NewTay

New is the one who is difficult. If Tay hits him or is annoyed you can be sure it's because of something New did.
But I remember back then people complaining about Tay hitting New, poor Newwie! Until I understood that he provoked him on purpose. It's their thing.

Alphas are the superhumans. They are attracted very much to Omegas because of their pheromones. Omegas are basically prey, because alphas can't control themselves when they have a rut. In many omegaverse stories omegas are taking some kind of medication or are wearing collars to prevent emitting pheromones or being bitten. If you get bitten it's a life long bond. They already explained it in the series.
That's the whole concept of omegaverse, but no idea if thai or chinese novels reinvented the concept. Being an omega is the worst that can happen to you. You better hurry and look for a good alpha otherwise you're screwed. Normally, when you are bonding with your alpha, you no longer emit pheromones that other alphas can sense, so you're safe.
Betas are just regular humans and aren't involved in this. They don't emit pheromones nor are they affected.

I dropped My Stubborn when it aired. I thought I only missed two episodes, seems I missed at least four. Now I thought why not finish watching it today.
OH MY GOD! That really was pure porn, lol.
What are those two doing?!?!
Gonna admit I have seen a lot in my life, but never something like that. Normally, love scenes in series/movies aren't that detailed, and porn isn't that aesthetically pleasing. So yeah, that's something completely new.
How are they gonna top it? Like is there anything they haven't shown us already?

Tay never fitted the top role, but he fitted it a bit better than New who was always too cute for it. Now New is handsome, and bigger than ever. That scene where Tay lifted him up while they were kissing gave me some back pain on Tay's behalf.
Tay is not passive. He is chaotic, clumsy, soft and not aggressive at all.
New on the other hand, despite being so princess like, is very down to earth, a problem solver and the guy you want to have around when a crisis is happening. They once told the story how they got stuck in an old elevator in France. Tay panicked (of course!), but New was not bothered, stay calmed and saved them all. It was always a running joke how Tay destroys everything he touches, while New has to fix it. New is very capable. In almost every game they played where some skill where needed, it was clear from the beginning that Tay will not win it.

Not that I'm an expert, but I read a lot of omegaverse manga. My guilty pleasure. Talking about the plot, they could have done it like this:
In this world everyone has to get tested for the 2nd gender at a certain age, best at puberty. So this puts some anxiety at the young people. Nobody wants to be an omega. It also depends from what kind of family they come. Most will be happy being a "normal" beta.
So Phatsa gets wrong diagnosed because he is a late bloomer and his hormones or whatever they tested didn't kick in at a certain age. So he believes he is a beta and lives as a beta, but he is well aware of the alpha/omega dynamics. Then he meets his soulmate which leads to a reaction and his hormones go crazy. Late awakening. Then he suddenly is aware of his body, alphas are following him, he is confused, scared and gets tested again.
Perfectly logical plot.
But noooo, they went with "I have never heard of this alpha/omega thing".
Imagine the talk he had with the guy he saved. In this situation they could have explained the whole alpha/omega thing just fine for the audience without him being completely unaware of it. Then they had that scene with the narrator that talked about the wolf gods and how it started. Put that at the beginning like in some fantasy series, so everyone knows what's going on.
There is no excuse for the bad writing unless they are thinking their audience has low IQ. And maybe that's the audience they are going for, lol.

Normally, I'm not the audience either. But I liked My Stubborn. The sex in the first half was exciting, and Oat is a really good actor.
But then everything went downhill.
I will watch this for a while. Let's see how good or bad it really is.

I read every omegaverse manga out there. This is an acceptable plot. Alpha's in heat can't control themselves, especially if they meet their soulmates. That omegas have to be cautious is normal. That's why they wear a collar in many stories. The only strange thing is the bite on the side of the neck, normally they bite the back of the neck.

It's a trashy low budget series. But there is an audience for it. Enjoy it for what it is - or don't. Nobody in his right mind can argue this was a good start or a high quality 1st episode. Nothing really happened. Locations seem fake because of no background actors. Acting was weak from everyone, even Oat. Everything is shallow and stupid.
But the sex will be good in the upcoming episodes. I'm sure of it.
So ... there is an audience for it and some money to make with it.

That's basically what I said. They did this to explain the omegaverse to the viewers not familiar with the concept. But it is such a clumsy and unbelievable way to do it.

He didn't know what he was. They were joking about him being an alpha and told him to get tested.

Not a good comparison. Men don't care about women's biology, because it's not about them. Even if the women gets pregnant, she is the one who has to deal with it.
The whole alpha/omega is something you should know for your own safety. It's about you.

Even more trashy than My Stubborn, even though I thought that's not possible.
But I'm here for the trash. The fight scenes were decent, though.

How they try to explain the Omegaverse in the 1st episode by making the main character completely clueless is next level bad writing. It's highly unlikely that he is living in such a world and doesn't know about this stuff. There should have been a better way to start this story.

This looks so damn trashy and cheap. But Oat is an incredible actor. I will watch it for him. Don't know if he can save it. He wasn't able to save My Stubborn, but until the silliness of the whole plot got revealed at the very end it was an entertaining watch. I mean ... he will make this 100 million times better than any other actor could. Btw: Boat is also looking better in this than in My Stubborn where he had that silly pony tail.
Well, I'm here for it. Every scene with Oat will be worth it.

That's not how it works.
I criticized Kanit from day 1. Toto is the better guy by miles. Important job, down to earth, lots of responsibilities, caring and empathic. A problem solver, the kind of guy you want to have in your life, you can count on him. A bit wild and chaotic, but very strong minded and an emotional rock. He will lift you up when you're down. He himself isn't prone to depression. He is the kind of guy who knows life is short, so you better make the best out of it. He is always there for others to the point where you get the impression he isn't looking enough after himself.
Kanit in comparison is a little whiny b*tch with a shallow life who complains about the pressure not meeting up to his fathers expectations or not being good enough for that similar boring and shallow boyfriend. How sad. No real responsibilities expect for creating his shallow and boring life. What does he do for others? He payed for the damage in Ep1, but let's be honest, for him it was not much money. At the end of the day, everything is about him and his broken heart. You see it how he treats Toto. He doesn't consider his feelings. He never did. He thinks Toto is not a serious guy because of the way he talks. He is indeed unable to see how sensitive Toto really is, and laughed at him when Toto said it to him directly. And when Kanit is hurt, he puts it out on others. We have seen it in this episode. He used Toto as his emotional punching bag.
So yes, deep down he isn't a bad guy. He is not a cheater. He is not unfaithful. He doesn't want to hurt others on purpose. His mindset is pure. But he is also weak, whiny and depend on others for approval which results in bad behavior.
So that's not bad writing, that's in fact very smart writing since those two are a perfect match. Toto is the right guy for Kanit to make him a better and stronger person. It also makes it realistic how Kanit complains that nobody loves him, because - sorry to say it - I wouldn't want to deal with him either. So you can really understand why he feels lonely, since despite being good deep down, he has some issues, and he is not the kind of guy others flock towards. So that makes the plot and the characterization even more realistic.

At the moment my only concern is that there will be no character growth of Kanit. That Toto will just be the perfect boyfriend and so everything will get resolved, and poor Kanit will finally be happy. If I had to write the story, I would create a situation, where Kanit has to help Toto in one way or another (and I'm not talking about money), so we can see that both support each other and are good for each other. But I feel this is going more into the To My Star 2 direction where only one guy has to go the extra mile to keep the relationship together.

They destroyed the love scene.
I was praising this series because everything is sooo smooth. You get the impression they are just filming every scene in a single shot. No inconsistencies, perfect angles, perfect delivery of the lines, perfect timing.
But again, GMMTV had to do it: butchering that love scene completely.
Hands there, then somewhere else, legs there, then somewhere else. It was all over the place. They filmed several scenes and just put together what they thought worked best. Zero consistency. They always do that. They can't help themselves.

Finally someone with a decent amount of emotional intelligence who understands what's going on in this series. Everyone else is like "Poor Kanit is too good for this world!"
