Has anyone a good BL recommendation? I feel like nothing is catching my interest lately.
This one isn't bad, even though I'm not the biggest JimmySea fan.

For whatever reason, the pilots always look better

Every meaningful scene they had were in the trailer/teaser.

Since it's MileApo most likely KinnPorsche fans are watching. It's possible they give low ratings because they expected something else.

Lost of words to explain something simple.
It's indie style, unique, not mainstream. Such series have to earn good ratings much harder.

Great style. Very artistic. I love the colors and the overall atmosphere. But I'm not gonna lie, it isn't as captivating as I hoped. MileApo as a couple is enjoyable to watch, but I was never crazy about them. I can't say that I really care about thai politics in the 70s. We have so much political issues today worldwide, and honestly speaking, I think we are headed for a bleak future, so I don't have the patience to learn about the issues back then. I'm at an age where I prefer feel good stories.

I feel like they are all full of themselves. Those producers and writers aren't very talented, but BL brings a lot of money. It went to their heads.
I have no idea how people at such an age can look at this work and think: This is good.

The most tragic thing about KimKenta:
People can't even make proper fanvids, because after two seasons they don't have enough material/scenes for a video with an average song length of 3 minutes and 30 seconds. It's only enough for some short edits and stuff.

Now the gays can have divorces too! Yeah!

I started watching Pitbabe back then when it aired, because of Pavel. I liked him in 2moons. After 1st episode I dropped it. PoohPavel is not working. I have no idea why they force that ship on us. Seems the fans are also very aggressive and fear other couples/ships are getting more popular.
Well, I came back because of the side couples.
PoohPavel doesn't have the power. I have seen so many couples come and go, this is one of the most boring and unappealing ships ever. Pooh's acting isn't great. Seeing people say stuff like "you did well, Pooh, I love you" - are we in kindergarten? He is an adult actor for Christ’s sake. He is supposed to be good at acting. While other couples indeed do well without the pampering, and don't get the chance to prove themselves. Some crazy people saying Milk got connection, because they added the Willy character. The guy appeared out from nowhere, showed a good performance, and that was it. If anyone has connections, it must be Pooh.
Silly. Everything is silly.
Honestly, I don't care about PoohPavel, I don't wish for MilkPavel or something. I fell out of love with Pavel since I didn't like the Babe character very much. But this ship reminds me of JossGawin or even PerthChimon. Some ships just don't work. You can't force it. But they still do it, since there is a new series for PoohPavel in the making. I don't think it would work if they switched their roles either. To be fair, there is even a series for PingNut, and I must say, Nut was the weakest actor of the bunch. His chemistry with Ping isn't mind-blowing either.
So ... it seems to me not much is needed nowadays to promote those couples. BenzGarfield are the only ones I would like to watch an NC scene. That says it all, because I'm a sucker for NC scenes. If you skip them, that tells you everything you have to know about the "chemistry" and the appeal of the couples.
But since most people just care about naked skin and f*cking, they are easy to please. Really easy. Especially younger people. I'm honestly so surprised that almost every damn BL ship gets his own fanclub immediately. Sorry for the rant.

If you want to sell a BL, you need good-looking and charming boys, not a good script.
They needed five (!!!) couples and lots of sex scenes to get those views.
If you think about how popular some series became just with one or two couples and no NC scenes (2gether, Bad Buddy), then this isn't really an accomplishment.

You mixed up Kim and Kenta's names. Kenta has superpowers now. His wounds heal. But the fighting scene was so strange to me. In a high budget production we would have seen how the bullet came out of his back, and the wound closes. Didn't happen here, but okay. Still, I don't understand what was going on in both of their heads. They looked at each other for a short moment, but Kim couldn't know about Kenta's new power. Still, he used him like a shield. Or was Kenta the one who forced him to do it? It's like Kim suddenly understood what's going on, but how? Then he puts the bulletproof vest on him (which was cute).

This was some kind of cast reunion scene or something. I felt like they applauded themselves for their good work, lol.

It's like the actors have to do NC scenes to prove themselves of being worthy of a main role and more screen time.
PitBabe had 3 couples with NC scenes. All of them got their own series as main leads. BenzGarfield and NorthSonic got only roles as 2nd leads until now. I wonder what the company will do next.

The wedding scene, next to Tony (actor and producer of the series), the woman, is that the other producer? The egos of those producers are wild. They have to include themselves into the series.

I liked their scenes in the last episode. But yeah, wasted potential.
I don't believe this company can give them a good script and a good production. Sadly, I lost all hope.
If they can make it work, then only because of their chemistry and acting. Long Beans wasn't anything special either, but they were very charming in it.
