Not some people acting like "poor Tay" like he is getting targeted by people he is a victim, like they…
I see nothing wrong with Tay's behavior. He blindly defended his friend without knowing the whole situation. He then put out a very diplomatic apology. Case closed. It's not his responsibility to speak out for the victim or get involved. He is not the molester. He is not friends with the molester. He is friends (or acted together) with the wife of the molester. You can't make this sh*t up. Most stupid attempt to cancel someone. But well, wasn't New cancelled constantly because he had a girlfriend? People who engage in this drama aren't living in the real world. The victim should go to the police. It's obvious that people who try to cancel Tay, don't care about the victim either. Cancel the real molester.
It is just first episode. The rating will get better soon. Calm down guys.
People love drama. I swear every time the damn same for years now! A series starts low, everyone is hyperventilating and ready to fight! The episode was cute and fun, but objectively speaking I would rate it with a solid 7.9 I did rate it with a 10 though (I'm biased).
People don't rate the series, they rate their favorites. And those two aren't the hottest thing at the moment.…
I know. But it seems newer couples are more popular today. GeminiForth, PondPhuwin, FirstKhaotung, JoongDunk etc. There is not much hype about this series either.
Since when is Gemini so good at acting? I remember in MSP he was the weaker one, and Forth completely stole the show. I also watched them in Moonlight Chicken where he was doing okay, but nothing special. This time it's very different. Not only is he gorgeous to look at, he is also incredible good. Every scene was a masterpiece, every shot of his face and his expressions was incredible intense. Last but not least: Since when has GMMTV such a high budget? What's going on?

I remember 2gether was a big hit back then, and had very low ratings. It was a time MDL had a different rating system. Every series started low around 7,7 - 7,9. This went on for a while, people complained, then it changed, ratings got higher then lower again. Lately they are very high. I think some weeks ago I even wanted to comment about it, because it surprised me so much that every series startet out with 8.5. But looking at the recommendation: Paceful Property didn't start with 8.6 either. Some others I can think of: Golden Blood, Revamp, The Ex-Morning - I think they all started low, some stayed low.

That's not what I meant. I loved the first episode, I love TayNew. But if you aren't attached to them, this first episode was nothing groundbreaking. It was cute and fun, no masterpiece. The rating will get higher with time.
Do we know why a GMM series got only 7.7 score? Is it because of Tay post?
People don't rate the series, they rate their favorites. And those two aren't the hottest thing at the moment. Many young viewers don't even know them.
My two cents about the characters: First time they act in a BL together where both of their characters feel like real human beings. Kiss Me Again: Pete (Tay) was over the top hot headed cool guy Tay couldn't really pull off. Kao (New) was sassy and not easy to mess with. I loved that. DBK: New was playing the cliche bottom. They changed Kao's character completely into a whiny coward, while suddenly Pete was the voice of reason. Cherry Magic: I know the story has many fans, but those character were fake and artificial. Impossible to relate to them. New brought the cliche bottom to new heights (or depths). This series: Toto is a chill guy after all, he has responsibilities and he is reasonable, also surprisingly hot. First time in my life that I think Tay is hot. He doesn't try to show off. Kanit is more complex it seems. We have seen New's princess acting, but he is also very sassy and strong minded. The era of the cliche bottom is hopefully over.
Wow, that's brutal. So all this time they were actually making New look shorter? That's ridiculous. I hate gmm's…
To be fair, Cherry Magic is very popular. there is an anime, manga, a Japanese series. It was a remake, and most likely they tried to be true to the original. They didn't do it in their other series.
The last scene when New holds Tay in his arms ... I immediately thought about Cherry Magic where they gave Tay high shoes so he would look taller beside New. I love it how in this series they don't try to force them into those top/bottom cliches.
I was so head over heels for this, but now I'm bored to death. They had a real opportunity to create something unique, but now it's just all the same like every other show. They really play it safe, you can feel it, since they show you every cliche you can think of. I loved how cold she was when he confessed just to see she was indeed flattered by him. She didn't want to marry in this life and has shown to have a strong will, just to get wobbly knees the moment a man hugs her. She behaves and sits like a man (why though), but in the past we also saw she was a powerless maiden. I guess she got strong and all, but her strong attitude just feels like her playing a "character", like the writers didn't think this through. She is strong-willed and self-confident, but than again she is not. I can imagine her being Cha Se Gye's little wife every moment. The end is also predictable: Most likely she will go back to her old body and then find him in the past life, while the real Sin Seo Ri will have a successful life or whatever. Damn. Same stuff over again. It's my fault to think this could have been something more. Of course they will get together, but just spice it up a bit. All that fuss over a hug. Are we in kindergarden? That infantilisation in kdrama is annoying, especially if you know that koreans are famous for their hook-ups and cheating. Two adults, not young anymore, behaving like teenagers. He should have kissed her. Not because I want to see a kiss, just to make it a bit more intense. This is so childish, sorry. But then again, if he had kissed her, most likely she would have gotten stiff, with her eyes wide open, shocked and what do I know. This feels like some kind of fanfiction, not a real story. They must have a cheklist of all kdrama cliches and just work through it. No real story worth following. No controversy. Same old plots and tear jerkers, and oh, I almost forgot, she is superwoman now and knows martial arts. I'm too old for this sh*t. Dropped.
Are you living on this planet or somewhere else? Damn, we only have high speed internet because people wanted…
There's really nothing to discuss, unless you're a writer yourself. Because then you're personally affected by humanity's generally poor taste.
Everything else is just whining about cheap entertainment (at worst, you watch it on a pirate site) not getting the recognition it deserves. The only sensible thing to do is watch it, pay for it, and support the actors. Online rants are pointless.
It's not his responsibility to speak out for the victim or get involved.
