I was thinking only about the body. He could be standing in the middle of the street and I wouldn't notice. Can…
It's the webtoon aesthetic. I have never seen such a guy with such broad shoulders and muscles outside of Korean webtoons. On the bright side: they are bringing "men" back. I‘m a bit tired of those very boyish almost feminine looking guys we see especially in Chinese drama, but also in Korean drama.
Out of topic, but that shower scene made me laugh. Great body, yes, but I was laughing at the bathroom. When you reached peak wealth, you're going back to the cave or what? Nowadays, being wealthy means having a tree standing in your living room, or a bathroom that looks like you're stuck between two rocks. We reached the end of design ideas, now we are going back to nature.
I can't remember when it was the last time I enjoyed a romance series or a fantasy romance series. I mean, I tried, you know. But they were all so generic and boring. Just always the same stuff over and over again, and the biggest problem: the lack of charismatic actors. But those two seem fire.
Saying to someone "you're much cooler, raw and much warmer" after he told you how the suffering of others makes him excited, is peak romance in 2026. We connect with each other by hating the world, everyone in it, and ourselves. Our hate and jealousy eats our souls away. Our inability to create the life we dreamed of makes us bitter, ugly, desperate and crazy. Now lets kiss.
This will be a fun ride, because there is a lot I have to criticize about this series. The script tries too hard to sound smart. The emotion watch is a good example. The silliest thing I have seen in a while. Now we need a new word for an emotion that consists of three different emotions with 10% unknown.
I'm only at episode 2, but I thought this is about being passionate about their craft, creatives being overly dramatic, but this is only about ego. About approval. About success. Wouldn't make a difference if those people are lawyers, architects or athletes.
I'm not mad about it. I was, but not anymore. It seems they like to do action/mystery series. When I see how GMMTV treated Dare You To Death or Kidnap, it looks like non BL series get a higher budget. Not Me and Heart Killers were not bad, but still, the high budget and the talented folks work on non BL series unless it's high school series where everyone and his dog is gay. Those series sell well and are high quality. So unless you want to do cheesy high school college stories, there is no guarantee the series is high quality. Just my observation. I can be wrong. They are more going for the cool vibe with both characters not falling into typical top/bottom stereotypes. There is just not much of a market for that. Other popular mystery BL series like Khemjira or The Sign are always going down the sexual soap opera route. Maybe they aren't into that.
Ok, serious comment coming in: I had zero expectations regarding this series. Both trailers were meh. I don't care if this is BL or bromance, but I wasn't really sold on their chemistry from what I have seen in both trailers. The premise of the story didn't do much for me either. I was expecting this series being mediocre, perhaps some kind of fan service to boost their popularity after Highschool Frenemy. Just to milk their success and make more money, because that's what GMMTV likes to do. But the series is good. It's really good. Not gonna lie, but in both trailers I felt that the acting and their intensity wasn't there anymore. But in the episode: it was there. I especially like Nani as an actor. He is very intense, very alluring, very emotional, a joy to watch. There is something about him, I can't explain it, but it draws me into the character and the series. Sky is also doing a good job, I would even say he is doing a better job than in Highschool Frenemy, where is character felt a bit bland. I also like that their dynamics are different than in Highschool Frenemy, and there is an interesting power balance. In their previous series Nani was the weaker one, while Sky was some kind of super fighter. In this series Nani is the one who has a fragment of a demon in him. The did well with the casting. Sky looks so young and cute. I love it if they mix it up and don't play the same roles/charcters over and over again. So yes, much much better than expected. I look forward to this. Those two will undoubtly do their thing (whatever it is, romance or bromance or something in between) and we will all be happy.
Not a fan. Their last drama had some issues regarding the story, but it was so enchanting and captivating with a dreamy atmosphere and breathtaking acting. This one was just meh. Story, acting, pace, production - not bad, but not great either.
I love the leads, chemistry and acting is great, but the plot is not engaging. I expected a better series. They have so much potential, but the story is a let-down. Same in Breeze of Love.
It's cute, very similar to their last series, though the atmosphere doesn't feel as dreamy as in Breeze of Love. Chemistry is good, acting too, Woo Ji Han is a pleasure to watch - still, I have a hard time getting into this. No idea why. Maybe I'm just not in the mood for something like this at the moment.
Sorry, I have to say it, but I love how their kissing gets better every time they do it. Their kissing scenes are still highly edited to make them look good, but it's obvious that they became more comfortable over time, and I love that. Nothing annoys me more than a BL where you can feel they aren't really into it. Those two have such a good vibe going. Just chilling and having nice chemistry. Very natural, not forced at all, but not too crazy either, because I got a bit tired of those heavy make-out sessions in some other BLs. Those two are just perfect, radiating chemistry, having good kisses, beautiful smiles, sparkling eyes. That‘s how I love my BL.
Those fake tattoos are so funny, and the dog scene in the last episode (there was no dog) was also hilarious. This series proves that you don't need high budget; you only need talent and creativity.
Why aren't they doing BL in this day and age? Currently I watch MuTeLuv: Love Me If You Swear, and those young actors are so cute and have effortless chemistry. Obviously, everyone involved in this project had fun. They are good actors too. If those young boys can pull it off, what's the problem? Just don't take everything so seriously. No one needs to see some softporn scenes, people will ship them anyway and go crazy about a single kiss. This makes me like them less, because they are complicated for no good reason. They are 27 and 28 years old. Just be professional. No one forces you to be a fixed BL couple or to only do BLs in the future. Many GMMTV actors have different projects in different genres, even though, when they do BL they have the same partner to not upset fans. There are so many possibilities, and they showed in High School Frenemy how great their acting is. So if they don't want to become a "couple", why doing so many projects together? If they are afraid of toxic shipping, well, that's too late. This decision to not do BL despite so many fans wishing for it makes them controversial, and gets them all the wrong attention. TayNew had some kind of bromance going on in Peaceful Property, and as far as I know nobody complained. They had romance projects before, so not everything has to be BL. Honestly, Peaceful Property was by far their best work. But Sky and Nani seem to avoid the genre on purpose, and it's just a bad look.

So she can be as miserable as you are – because she has to spend her life with you.
