I think this is mostly a series about corporate life, not really about winning a jackpot.

I would get so depressed with that kind of job. I'm in the middle of ep 3 and still have no idea what kind of products they are even selling. It's all just marketing and stuff. Wearing suits, sitting on a desk, talking to customers - it's like acting, dressing up, playing a role, looking good, talking right, don't mess it up! It's all sooo ... strict. Are human beings really made for something like this? Drinking your coffee at the same time, every day, going to the office at the same time, every day, leaving at the same time, every damn day. Well, weekends excluded.
I'm so confused that so many people do this and even enjoy it.

Sorry, my interest in this story went from 90 to 30. Thai BLs just can't write good relationships. The first couple episodes were exciting, then suddenly they are together, confessing each other their big love in such a sappy way, and now they are playing house. I want a slow burn, I want tension, I want the whole Nour thing being a bigger issue.

This happens when a bunch of untalented people (mostly untalented writers) work on a series. I don't know how popular BoatOat are, but I saw their potential in My Stubborn. I was hoping for them getting a better script next time, but this is a big step backwards. I honestly don't want to watch another of their series. I'm so done with those NC scenes too. No idea why they couldn't manage better.
They remind me a lot of YinWar. War was very talented from the get go (like Oat), Yin not so much. They decided to become a working couple, Yin improved a lot and is as good as War now, they do their own thing. I'm not sure, but I think they even invest their own money in their project. They are smart. They capitalized on their success.
Why weren't BoatOat that smart?

So what do you plan to do?

I'm a novel writer, and I'm affected by AI in many ways. Maybe the economic crisis is at fault too, but my book sells went down 75% (!!). Not just me, other authors are also affected in the exact same way. I'm lucky to be pretty well known, otherwise I would go broke. I know people who made over 100k a year. I sometimes wonder if they bought a house in the last couples years. If so, what are they doing now? Selling it?

I think people read less, because they are so fed up with all the AI. I have seen people commenting, they stopped reading books altogether, because they hate AI. So this is hurting real authors and real artist who don't use AI (like me).

Back to my question: What are you planning to do? Boycotting this series? The actors are real and do a good job. Even the use of AI is creative (there is still a human behind it who makes decisions about the end result).

I have no solution. Tell me yours.

I start to think the problem is the consumer not the one who uses AI. You're free to support creative work and real authors and artists. But people don't want to. They accuse everyone of using AI, and are looking for the tiniest bit of AI to crucify creatives. Even if you use AI, you still need to know your craft to create a good product. I have seen it how artists have to present proof (!) for not using AI. If this whole AI crisis made me understand something: most people hate artists. They are jealous, and cannot wait for them to go broke. I didn't know that before. It was pretty shocking, to be honest.

The comments are always disappointing on MDL unless it's a Thai series with popular actors, and their fans are gushing over their work.

No, seriously. I stopped counting how often I came to this site to share my love for a series, and people just killed all my enthusiasm.

Well, if he hadn't been that stupid, A Lie would be dead since the others didn't want to help him. So in this rare occasion the stupidity and inability to see danger was saving the life of his future boyfriend.

There is no fake love.
Those two meet unexpectedly, Lin Zai saves a wounded A Lie.
A Lie has a secret mission and discovers Lin Zai is his target. He doesn't tell him immediately and kidnaps him, forcing him to go along with the mission, so Lin Zai now feels betrayed, since he started to like A Lie. There is no deception at this point, since A Lie doesn't even have enough information about the mission. He is the soldier type who follows orders, and thinks he does the right thing.

When A Lie was carrying Lin Zai because he had the allergy they used heavy make up on A Lie to show how weak/sick he got from carrying and looking after Lin Zai. Very pale skin, dark circles under the eyes and very cracked lips. Cracked lips mostly because he gave all the water to Lin Zai, I assume. I constantly wondered how they can manage with so less water in that tiny bottle.
Just a litte thing I observed and I liked.

In the Flesh is an old British zombie gay series, but really, really good. Check it out! Very unusual approach with zombies changing back to humans.

There is also Till The World Ends a thai series which I didn't watch, so I don't know about that.

I didn't shower for some days because I was so stressed and there is a deadline I have to meet and now I am dead tired and rewatched this series and then I went showering at midnight because those guys have perfect hair and are shaved under the armpits during the apocalypse and so I have no excuse

Well, if I'm honest ... my thoughts:
1st episode 10/10 for me.
Good production, interesting and funny plot, great actions scenes, perfect acting from both.
I would be head over heels if I haven't seen Jack&Joker.
But since I have seen this series, and their new series seems very similar, I know what to expect and what not to expect.
I get the feeling the biggest issue will be the characters. They are too tame. Too boring. No interesting dynamic. No tension. Same in Jack&Joker where the characters had infinite potential, but they just didn't use them right.
We already saw in the 1st episode that War's character is developing feelings. Yin's character seem to like War too (not in a romantic way yet). They know each other well, and those fights they have seem performative and playful. So there is already romance in the air.
Soooo ... yeah. What am I supposed to look forward to?
Since it's comedy we can't expect much tension.
I wonder if we will get a funny situation after another with some sappy drama in between. Because I get the feeling this will be sappy and unserious.
I will keep watching it until the character disappoint me enough to drop it.

I can't believe that I'm rewatching a zombie series instead of watching all the new BLs that came out in the last two days

I'm really liking this. Both actors are very good. Lin Zai is annoying as a character, but he has a very expressive face.

I love a good bromance, but the problem begins when it's clearly romance and they censor it. Series like Untamed or Highschool Frenemy needed romance BADLY.

This series is more focussed on the plot, and I love that.
I'm trusting them to show us how those two develop more feelings so that we will crave for the romance at the end.

But it would work as bromance too. I just like their interactions.

If J100 likes the series, I feel like not watching it hahaha
