Okay, I only watched 25 min of episode 6, but so far the episode is beyond great.
Tagon's struggle ... he really is traumatized.
And Taealha ... what in the world can break this woman? She is an incredible fighter and can even fight alongside an Igutu, she is extremely smart, she already caught on that Tanya is thinking about another Aramun, and not to forget her mental strength, her biggest asset.
For the first time I really wonder how this series will end. We can assume that Eunseom will be the next (real) Aramun, what will happen to Taealha and Tagon? Taealha will never accept loosing. I must say at the moment I'm most interested in her fate.
Btw, I think it's great, that they show us how Tagon is loosing it. His whole life he had to hide that he is an Igitu, so no wonder that now, since it's out in the open, he is losing his sanity.
He even said once, that him being king, him being successful has to happen, since otherwise all those deaths he caused had been futile. I wonder how he will overcome all of this.
Such an unpleasant comment section ...
People saying LJG is so much better than SKJ, which is not true at all. Obviously, some passionate LJG fans are watching this for their idol or whatever. Both actors did and do well.
People attacking others for their opinions, whining if someone criticizes certain scenes or certain parts of the story. "You all said this and that ..." - oh, Jesus.
Complaining about bad ratings, whining again ...
Did I mention the whining?
Seriously ...
Almost nobody discussed the story, since not many remember it.
But LJG is sooooo great. I looooove him! So sexy!!! - yeah. Unbelievable.
This series deserves better.

I would immensely enjoy this as a movie, but for a series, I feel it's getting old pretty fast, the whole smart-cocky-girl and clumsy-stupid-guy dynamic. I liked it more at the beginning, when he behaved like a father. Now it's like the girl is the boss, and drags the naive guy along.
I enjoyed ep 5, but the scene at the end where EunSeom is crawling up that cliff like some alien on steroids was too much. What were the writers smoking? YangCha is pretty strong, just fight him off with your Igutu power, push him down the cliff and done. But the whole falling down cliff, crawling up, pushing down YangCha, pull him up. Seriously? This scene was over the top and not believable. The CGI was rather bad too, when he felt down and crawled up with his nails in those cliffs.

Omg we have been almost the same thoughts!
Glad I'm not the only one!

Title The Kidnapping Day Spoiler
I'm at episode 3, but ...
Did the girl kill her parents?
A katana knife, a paper knife, things that were in the house. A killer from outside would have brought a weapon with him.
The girl was running away, she collapsed, now she has memory loss.
It seems the experiments they conducted on her were affecting her brain, most likely her psychological state too. Who knows what happened?
The bruises indicate they put needles into her, and she was fighting them off. So there is some hostility towards her parents.

Is it just me, or are the actors putting more into this than the script is giving to them? I feel like they try to show us an emotional story, but the plot is weak. With other actors, this would be unwatchable.

I don't get it. Ai Di has been pinning for Chen Yi from the start but when Chen Yi kisses him, Ai Di is shocked…
Chen Yi was drunk and frustrated. Did he kiss Ai Di to make him shut up, to piss him off? They were fighting. From Ai Di's perspective, he sure didn't kiss him at that moment, because he had romantic feelings for him.

He doesn't have neither the boyish look nor the feminine/androgynous look. LJG as Saya looks like some wizard, SKJ as Saya looked like a mysterious being. His look alone was captivating.

He is a good actor, and it was the right decision to cast a good actor for such a difficult role. But he doesn't have the looks to play the character like SJK did, but well, that's not his fault.
I feel the actress who plays Tanya is also doing a great job. That stoic face that made me mad sometimes .... she nails it. That composed attitude, how she came with the bell at the end of ep 4, her speech, it was 100% like the old actress would have done it.
I loved ep 4, but just to make sure ...
Tagon and Eunseom are enemies, basically. Eunseom leads the rebel army. So why did he help Tagon and was fighting besides him and Taealha? Nobody wants a child to die, I get that, but ... did I miss something? What do those people even want? Tagon wanted to be king and unite the whole country under his rule. But since some tribes didn't agree, he fought them, slaughtered them.
What is Eunseom now doing? He became a killing machine, too.
So what's the goal here? I thought to overthrow the king? So why did he run to help him? He had no obligation to do so. It's not like he had to pretend to be Saya at that moment. He said to Tanya that it could cause problems if Tagon's blood had been revealed. So? Why is that his business?

don't get me wrong, I died twice watching and rewatching Moon Lovers for LJG, but I'm going to miss SJK's Saya....…
SJK as Eunseom was very boyish, young, wild, full of energy.
SJK as Saya was very elegant, almost feminine, very beautiful.
LJG can't bring those attributes to both roles, but he is still doing a good job. The acting is intense, and in the last episode, when he was with Tanya, I almost felt like watching SJK and his childlike behavior we know from Eunseom back then when they grew up together in the tribe.
It's honestly a shame that they changed actors, but as long Ta Gon and Tae Al Ha are still the same, I can live with it. I'm sad for the Neanderthal girl. I loved her. They changed her too.

im sorry but i cant help but laugh at this comment we knew from the very beginning tht this series was going to…
Bad people can be good characters, but I feel all their problems are so unnecessary and fabricated.

I'm dropping this. Everyone is an asshole and messed up. For whom am I supposed to root? Now even Sand looks crazy. I'm so annoyed by all those characters. Not even my beloved FirstKhao can save this.

Well, for your personal emotions i will not say anything. But let me disagree on the production. How could you…
It's more the filming I have an issue with. The music, how the dialogues are delivered, how the voices sound, it's not as impactful as I remember it.
The costumes aren't bad. In fact, while watching I was thinking "How much did that cost, and then they couldn't give us better scenes/writing?"
I can't point my finger on it, but the meeting of the brothers was underwhelming, or Moobaek saving the brothers, or every scene with Tanya etc.
I was waiting for those two brothers to meet each other for 18 episodes. They did not meet. Now, the new series start, and they meet in episode 2. I watched SJK giving us an emotional performance throughout all those episodes, and now a new face is giving us this big revelation?
How am I supposed to feel?
Of course, this will not have the same impact.

Btw, is it just me, or does the production look much cheaper? Even the old characters that had such an incredible screen presence like Tagon and Moobaek feel almost cheesy and weak. Didn't even recognize Taealha at first, because her voice and presence felt different, too.

I will watch this, because I'm so invested in the world, but those two episodes were underwhelming to say the least.
