I only know Dark Blue Kiss from him, and that was one of the biggest disappointments ever. Soap-operish production/directing and badly edited kisses with strange angles. Cameras that went to the roof, when something intimate happened. Not to mention deleted kisses. Tay&New kissed under water in the very first episode, and we didn't get to see it. I soooo hope he gives Nanon and Ohm a change to show us some nice intimate scenes. It would be such a waste of acting abilities and great chemistry if not.

Well, after thinking about it: It's very rare to see such characters in a BL. They both like each other, they both support each other, they both care for each other. Emotionally they behave very mature. Even when the girl arrived. Pat was concerned about Pran. No stupid games. You can feel their connection, how much they are drawn to each other. And despite the sadness, they have so much fun together. It's beautiful.
Not to mention, that they are both just really good people.

You have to watch this for the acting alone. There is no other BL out there with such superb acting. You will know what I mean at the end of Ep 3 and especially at the end of Ep 4. If you like Nanon, like you said, you will not be disappointed.

I'm not bothered by the ads in the actual series, but there is no way to watch this in HD as a whole episode. You have to watch those 4 parts on YouTube. I want to save the full series nicely on my computer and watch an episode without any interruption.

I want this in high quality, full length episodes without any advertisements. And I want the full OST. Where can I get it? Will they release it? I want to give them my money BADLY.

People here just tend to rate everything higher. The marvellous Chinese movie Better Days got a well deserved 9.1 on MDL. Imdb gives it 7.6. That says it all. Different audience. Different perception.

It's popular nowadays to create a own reality. If you watch Netflix series you get the impression half of the worlds population is gay, queer, bi, pan, something in between, what do I know? Lately I heard there are 78 different genders. Sigh.
Most people that are gay - IT SHOWS. That's just how it is. Not all, but most. Talking about Bad Buddy in particular: I love the show, I hate top/bottom stereotypes etc. We are here on the same page. I'm just saying that those two guys are the most straightest guys I have ever seen. Don't know about Ohm in real life, but in the series he is the epitome of a straight dude. It's hard to believe that those two fall in love, but we'll see. They can do it. Both are talented actors.

The couples you mentioned ...
Bright&Win: They both started on equal footing, but then Tine became a crybaby and Sarawat an alpha-male who had to pat the head of his boy. Top/bottom stereotypes at it's finest!
May&Tul: Both two honks, but again, very strict top/bottom stereotypes. Tul is bottom and he is even rumored to be gay in real life.
Mew&Gulf: Really? I'm not talking here only about appearances. Top/bottom again at it's finest.
Tay&New: Pete is a top out of the book. And Kao has some issues. Different personality in every damn series. Also New LOVES to act cute.

I may be biased here, but I come from the fanfiction world, where those female authors even invented MPREG. There is a big desire of making one of the guys a "woman". Tell me ONE BL where those stereotypes don't exist.

No, it's not bad. But I know that many people enjoy it if one of the guys appears more feminine, cute, smaller whatever. Those top/bottom troops are very popular. It's also more realistic if at least one of the guys looks gay. I personally enjoy it much, much more if the guys are manly and look straight. But that's just me. I also don't like hetero romances where the girl is winy and cannot do anything.

It's not a bad rating. But some days ago it was much higher. It goes down every day. So it will be under 8 if this trend keeps up. The rating on MDL is in general rather high. A series below 8 is considered mediocre. Almost every popular BL that is supposed to be a good gets a rating of 8+

Well, I have heard the opposite: that they don't like it that none of them is short. Some people enjoy series where one of the guys is small and girly.

I'm crazy in love with Bad Buddy. At least at the moment. I'm used to disappointment, so I don't want to be too excited. But I think it's a big issue that those two are straight like an arrow. All other BL couples I can think of at least one of the guys passes as gay, bi or, well, as meterosexual. Not Nanon and Ohm, though!

So I really wonder how it works out between those two in the romance department.

Because people want the cheesy stuff. They don't want fighting and quarreling. I hope the director is smart enough to show some kisses. In Dark Blue Kiss the camera went to the ceiling when they kissed. Hopefully, P'Aof isn't using the same tricks again.

I knew people would mention ITSAY! I saw a vid of Nanon talking about ITSAY and saying the acting was great. I disagree. The whole production was great, but the acting ... come on! That cringy crying. I had to look away. The series was so cheesy and shallow. Those characters felt ... empty. Hours and hours of watching them and I still have no idea who they even were - and worse: why should I care?

Bad Buddy will always be a rom-com, a silly GMMTV series. It doesn't have the potential to become something more. It's entertaining. It feels "real" because of the nataral acting. It's cute. Hopefully it will get even cuter and romantic in the future.

ITSAY on the other hand was very artistic with a very special atmosphere, and I fully understand why people love it. It was a whole EXPERIENCE watching it. But I was so glad, when I finished it. Haha! You have to put a gun to my head to make me watching it again. It made me almost angry.

The acting is on a whole nother level. You cannot compare this to any other BL drama out there. Don't know about the plot, though. We'll see.

If they are smart, they give us a nice kiss, put it into the thumbnail of their YouTube vids and this will go viral. People will love it when it gets sweet and romantic.

The trash-bin kicking scene in Ep 1 and the rooftop-scene in Ep 2 were pure comedy gold.

People are hard to please nowadays. I really can't think of any other BL that made me laugh out loud so many times. That alone is an accomplishment. Comedy acting is not easy either, but actors mostly get praised for their dramatic performance.

No offense, but nobody can convince me that Light On Me was a good show. Those characters felt not real at all. Everything was in slow motion. No real person behaves, thinks or feels like that.

I wonder if they can manage the transition between friends and boyfriends. The buddy chemistry is superb, but I can't imagine them as lovers. Normally I would think they will fail. And it doesn't matter either, because people will still like it. We have seen with 2gether that the popularity of BL doesn't necessarily depend on the depiction of a realsitic gay story. But in this case, since Nanon and Ohm both are rather serious about this project, I'm very curious how they will play this out. I wonder if they can make this believable.
