You know the writing is good when you just want to follow the story wherever it goes. This is definitely a show where I'm just as invested in the journey as the destination!
I enjoyed this episode - like most parts of previous episodes - until the writers couldn't think of anything more…
So far, I think they're setting her up to be the not evil ex! Which I'm quite happy about. I think when she finds out that Tai is the soulmate, she might be sorry she kissed Patt.
Tai is out here having chemistry with everyone... Maybe the real conflict here will be him figuring out if he wants monogamy or polyamory. We haven't had any shows that have gotten adventurous like that since Three will be free.
I got the same impression and I think itβs funny lol
Yod in the front passing back all important info. See, this thing just writes itself. Petition for another Bad Buddy and Tale of a Thousand Stars crossover!
I didn't hate this at all, but it was definitely a bit confusing in terms of how Yoojae felt. Even in the final episode it kind of felt like he was pretending to be interested romantically in order to keep the friendship. Of course, that might just be the fact that they didn't do a great job showing any moments that were coupley. They only showed a bunch of scenes that could have still just been between friends. I was expecting to get a bittersweet ending for this and got a happy ending instead which was surprising.
It seems like a lot of people had very high expectations of a super lovey story between Pat and Pran in this special and are disappointed. I've personally been enjoying it because I think the teasing and fighting is more their speed than a sweet, romantic storyline. To each their own, of course, but as usual don't let the upset comments on here stop you from watching the special for BB and ToaTS!
I'm not a big fan of supernatural Bl, but so far they are doing this one right. They haven't forgotten their own…
My thoughts exactly! I love that they're going to be showing the slight changes that happen in the present based off of his past decisions. So many supernatural shows, while fun, don't seem to actually map out their plots as thoroughly as this one is.
So far I'm enjoying this. I don't have a clear idea where any of the storylines are going, which is a good thing in my opinion. My only note is to use less of the dramatic music during parts that aren't actually that dramatic (and to lower the volume of the music during dialogs).
Should've jettisoned the silly amnesia plot & given us one solid episode of Kiew explaining to Art why he's boinking…
You are so right! I would have loved to see more about them after their reunion. The amnesia plot line went on for way too long and stole time from more important things.
Well, this was something for sure. I don't know exactly what it was... I understand they tried to make the end not creepy, but I still had to pause multiple times because it made me so uncomfortable. Honestly, I was holding out hope for the only relationship that had anything close to chemistry - the throuple of Baiwan, Frong, and Pokpong.
I didn't hate it...but it's really not for me.I'm on episode 14 of 15 and Diao is finally starting to question…
I really love this show, but I agree that the slow burn is frustrating if you're looking for romance. It's mostly because they thought they were getting a second season and/or more episodes in the first season. Like with most TV shows that have multiple seasons, they didn't want to jump the shark and get the couple together right away. That decision just came back to bite them, though, when they didn't get the number of episodes they thought they would.
I liked Nikko up until this episode. I think they are making him out to be a flat character. He is just good,…
I think that's part of the character to be fair. It's not that he doesn't feel those things, he just feels like it's more important to be a force for good. I have a feeling in the next two episodes things won't go as smoothly. That will be the real test of Eli's feelings for him - if he can handle a Nikko that doesn't always make him feel good. People often think they're ready to be there for somebody who's experiencing medical hardship until they're faced with the realities. I hope Eli and Justin are going to get over their differences as Nikko needs them more and more.
This is turning into the BL version of A Walk to Remember, but without Mandy Moore's singing.
I called it back during the episode when Nico said something about being prepared to die or something along those lines π I keep waiting for Mandy Moore to pop up, but I think we'll have to keep waiting.
