I saw the trailer of Meng Xing Chang An. I couldn't even watch half of it. WHY? WHY STILL THE SIFENG VIBES? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWHY?…
I'm on board with the comments mentioned before me. Maybe it's the way they filmed this drama, but from certain angles I can still see some of Sifeng's gazes and gestures. Not to mention his hair style reminds me of the time SF and XJ reconciled after their 2 years separation.
I am an avid reader and I really appreciate all your hard work in translating this novel into English. I've created…
No worries. I've been following some novels for 1+ years already so I understand the time and effort it takes to finish each chapter. I appreciate all your hard work.
Readers, 231 chapters! over 2000 pages!continue if you are brave enough...
I am an avid reader and I really appreciate all your hard work in translating this novel into English. I've created ePub for some of the English translation novels (such as TMOPB, The Pillow Book, The Untamed, Joy of Life, Ever Night, etc.) Some of these novels I've read are over 700+ chapters. So I will DEFINATELY read all the chapters that you will translate.
Comparing the Palace Chief, Deputy Chief, Ruo Yu and especially Sifeng to the other sects, don’t the men from Lize Palace somehow seem more handsome. I mean their hair is longer and more gorgeous. Or am I bias here?
I'm on 5th episode and was looking forward to this show due to its high rating... but wow the 2 sisters are so…
I know there's not as many discussion of Linglong as there is about Xuanji, but I just wanted to express my appreciation on how the drama tried to show the PTSD after what she went through. As a victim and survivor through my own personal experiences, I was able to connect with Linglong. Some people didn't like her scenes and may skip them, but I found it reflected a small reality of what a victim would experience. I cheered for her when she overcame her trauma, and of course having Minyan staying and being devoted to her helped. This drama showed how each sister, through their own experiences, will mature and grow as an individual.
So I'm trying to get over Love and Redemption and decided to watch it this morning . I'm on episode 2 and I've been smiling ever since the first episode. It's really light and enjoyable to watch so far.
Please somebody that already finished watch this series and ever watch Ashes of Love too..I need some explanation…
I personally like LAR much more than AOL. There will be more misunderstanding between XJ and SF after episode 28. The fact that she was manipulated/influenced by people/family around her doesn't help and could upset you because if you think she's dumb and stupid by episode 28, then you might not like her in the coming episodes.
However, I would bite my tongue and watch it because you will see her character grow. XJ will realize what SF has done for her, not just this lifetime but the previous 9 lifetimes (episode 48). They will have much sweeter moments when they are reunited. You will see her go into this mode of protecting SF. Hence the "redemption" part of this drama.
What I find more appealing about this drama compared to AOL is the total devotion the main couple has for each other. You can see the attraction from the beginning to the end. Even though XJ was clueless at the beginning (from not having her senses like a normal person), to being manipulated by her friends/family (being the "righteous" people trying to kill demons/devils), she still wanted to believe in SF. Up to the end of the drama, you see the sacrifices and love they have for one another.
I would really appreciate if anyone could provide a link to read the entire novel in English or Indonesian. Thank…
I have the English translation in ePub format for this drama and also ELOD, so the first and second book of the Three Worlds Three Lives series. PM with your email address and I can send it to you.
When Si Feng died on episode 59..actually he died in his human state rite? And he should be able back to life…
I had the same thought too when I finished Dance of the Phoenix. But then again isn't the novel to that drama pretty long and they only turned a portion of the novel into a drama. Just like Joy of Life.
The link I mentioned above are 1080p so it takes less storage on your computer. The 4K version is 160G and will take longer, like 4-5 days to download.
But the actor played the role of her Master in "Listening Snow Tower" and he was very caring towards her, as his disciple.
This is the original subber.
